A perfect choice!

Silent Hill PT!

This was a demo personally crafted by Hideo Kojima, the world’s top ga producer, in Gu Sheng’s previous life.

But for various reasons, this demo never officially launched. Instead, it remained an incomplete relic, a major regret in the horror ga community.

In fact, Gu Sheng had been pondering for a long ti about how to bring the incomplete masterpiece Silent Hill PT into the motion-sensing pod.

If he released just the demo alone, it would be too small, the gaplay too short, and it would be obvious at a glance that it was incomplete.

But if he forcibly created follow-up content, Gu Sheng clearly knew his own limits—he didn’t believe he had the ability to fulfill Kojima’s original vision.

So this ga had been stuck in limbo within his system, ready but waiting for the right mont.

But now!

Kora has rebooted the Silent Hill IP!

And,

coincidentally, they need a playable demo!

Even better, PT fits all of Gu Sheng’s requirents perfectly!

This demo isn’t just recognized in the gaming world for its extre horror level; it’s considered the pinnacle of psychological horror!

Whether it’s the fragnted storytelling or the highly imaginative—so might say deeply disturbing—puzzle-solving thods, it all embodies its foggy, taphor-laden, and hint-filled characteristics!

At the very beginning of the story, players who don’t know where they ca from will wake up in a dim, cramped storage room.

Pushing the door open, players will discover themselves inside a villa. They follow an inverted L-shaped corridor forward, then descend a flight of stairs.

Opening the door again, players find themselves back at the corridor’s starting point.

Yes.

Throughout the demo, the playable space is only this inverted L-shaped corridor.

What players must do is find a way to escape the villa through an endless, ghostly loop, as if trapped in a haunted maze.

Of course, with each cycle, the corridor undergoes different changes.

Players will encounter, among other terrifying elents, a woman in white, deford fetuses, a bleeding refrigerator, echoes of a murder, eyeball photographs, and uncontrollable rampages—countless chilling horror scenes.

As players delve deeper and gather fragnted information, a brutal and bloody case of a wife’s murder and dismbernt will subtly erge before their eyes.

Yes.

A wife murder.

Just like the main storyline of Silent Hill, PT revolves around the the of a wife’s uncontrollable murder.

The house’s owner killed his pregnant wife, turning the villa into a haunted house.

Players act as witnesses, experiencing this otherworldly nightmare that diverges from the main story but ultimately converges with it.

At this point, two gas from the sa series, separated by thirteen years in Gu Sheng’s previous life, seem to co together.

In this world, they combine in a strange way, overlapping perfectly.

Gu Sheng admitted his limitations; he couldn’t patch up the incomplete Silent Hill PT himself.

But he could take a different route, allowing the legendary series and this equally top-tier demo to shine together in this world.

Moreover,

with this kind of fusion, unless he personally developed the main ga, not even the Almighty could guess the true plot of the ga!

Thinking of this, Gu Sheng felt both gratified and thrilled, bursting with excitent!

This was the greatest effort he could make while respecting the integrity of the ga works!

“Hmm—”

Gu Sheng nodded in satisfaction:

“Wonderful! Simply wonderful!”

However, before he finished speaking,

there was a click at the study door,

and Shen Miaomiao’s little head poked through the crack, blinking her big eyes:

“Are you done working? Calling ?”

“Uh…”

Gu Sheng and Little Nezha exchanged glances, montarily stunned.

Then he burst out laughing.

This little creature was truly entertaining.

“What are you laughing at?”

Shen Miaomiao frowned in confusion and slight annoyance:

“What’s so funny?”

“Nothing, hahaha,”

Gu Sheng waved his hand:

“I just suddenly rembered sothing happy.”

“You’re full of nonsense!”

Shen Miaomiao checked her outfit, then pulled out her phone to look at her face. Seeing nothing wrong, she was even more confused:

“Are you hiding sothing bad? You’re just laughing at ! What are you laughing at?”

Gu Sheng didn’t explain further and stood up to stretch: “I’m really not laughing at you. I’m just happy because I had a flash of inspiration, really.”

He then walked toward the study door, curious about what ingredients Little Nezha had prepared for tonight’s dinner.

But Shen Miaomiao wasn’t willing to give up. She grabbed Gu Sheng’s wrist and leaned back:

“No—You have to—explain yourself—”

But Gu Sheng was a grown man; Shen Miaomiao’s light weight wasn’t enough to hold him back.

With a slight tug, Gu Sheng carried her out the door like a chick.

“Hey hey hey! You sneaky dog! Don’t think you can run!”

Shen Miaomiao was angry and, taking advantage of her montum, suddenly jumped onto Gu Sheng’s back. She wrapped her little arms around his neck and locked him in a chokehold!

“Tell ! Why are you laughing at ?”

Carrying Little Nezha on his back, Gu Sheng headed toward the kitchen, half laughing and half crying:

“I told you, I’m not laughing at you. I said Miaomiao was praising the ga idea I ca up with!”

“I don’t believe you!”

Shen Miaomiao pouted:

“Tell ! What ga idea did you think of?!”

“It’s the project with Kora,”

Gu Sheng said:

“I’m planning to design the playable demo and the main ga in a way that echoes each other.”

“In the main ga, the protagonist suffocates his wife with a pillow and falls into the otherworld.”

“And in the demo, the story’s protagonist, out of suspicion and jealousy, murders his pregnant wife with a butcher knife, turning the villa into a haunted house.”

Saying this,

Gu Sheng arrived at the kitchen, took a kitchen knife from the knife rack, and rubbed it twice on the sharpener.

Sss!

Sss!

He continued: “In this way, although the demo exists outside the main story, it still…”

Before he could finish!

Suddenly!

Gu Sheng felt a lightness on his shoulder.

He looked back.

Little Nezha had backed away about two ters, now staring at him with a terrified expression, her big eyes filled with anxiety!

“Sorry… I… I was just joking with you…”

Too scary!

What had he just said?

Suffocating his wife with a pillow? Murdering a pregnant wife with a butcher knife?

What kind of perverted plot was this!

The worst part was Gu Sheng was sharpening the kitchen knife as he spoke!

Shen Miaomiao felt goosebumps all over, a chill shooting up from her feet to her skull!

She shrank against the wall, trembling like a “scared.jpg” .

“What are you doing…?”

Gu Sheng didn’t understand what she was freaking out about and paid no attention, waving the kitchen knife in his hand.

But!

Shen Miaomiao suddenly scread:

“Hey hey hey hey hey! Stop stop stop stop!”

“I was wrong, wrong, wrong! I’ll never use you as a mount again!”

“I was just playing with you, I really didn’t an to choke you. See? I didn’t use much force. Can you put the knife down first?”

“Old Gu, you’re still young. Don’t go down the path of cri!”

Looking at Little Nezha’s terrified face, then the kitchen knife in his hand, and thinking about what he just said, Gu Sheng understood.

He stiffened his face.

“Then sing for ! ‘Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf’ twenty tis! Sing!”

“I can’t sing…” Shen Miaomiao’s face turned sour.

Gu Sheng was relentless: “No! Sing!”

“Ple… Pleasant Goat… Big Big Wolf…”

Shen Miaomiao grimaced and sang pitifully:

“Don’t look at , I’m just a little goat…”

Gu Sheng happily started cutting beef; tonight’s dinner was spicy boiled beef.

“Change the song!”

“Uh uh… Dad’s dad is grandpa… Dad’s mom is grandma…”

“Change again!”

“Little swallow… wears flower clothes…”

“Hahaha, if you want to ride again, make your own soundtrack. I’m not providing this service anymore!”

“Okay okay…”

Gu Sheng was having a great ti.

Though sotis he worried about causing psychological trauma to Little Nezha.

After all, throughout dinner, Little Nezha was extrely cautious, her big eyes darting around nervously, constantly observing him, refilling drinks, picking food, and acting very attentive.

Gu Sheng felt helpless and amused.

So during dinner, he explained the afternoon’s misunderstanding and his ideas for this collaboration to Little Nezha in detail.

Only then did Shen Miaomiao relax:

“Phew—I thought you said those things on purpose to threaten .”

“Who knew you were so timid.” Gu Sheng finished his drink.

“Timid? Do you know what you’re saying?”

Shen Miaomiao was shocked:

“Who knows how twisted your design is! Is that kind of plot sothing a normal psychopath could co up with?”

“That’s why it’s special, and why only I can lead its production.” Gu Sheng shrugged, a little proud.

“That’s true. After all, psychopaths like you are hard to find…”

Shen Miaomiao muttered, then seriously said:

“So you designed it this way to guard against Kora backing out later?”

“Hard to say, but since they have a history, I think it’s wise to be cautious.”

As he spoke, Gu Sheng opened his cigarette pack as usual and lit a cigarette, intending to take a break in the bathroom.

But Shen Miaomiao beat him to it. She stood up, took the cigarette away, then picked up a green grape and popped it into his mouth:

“Smoking right after eating is bad. Have so fruit.”

Gu Sheng was surprised.

The cool, sweet grape juice blossod on his lips, flowing sweetly as if into the cracks of his heart.

“You care about ?”

Gu Sheng smiled at Shen Miaomiao, teasing her playfully.

Shen Miaomiao paused, blushed slightly, then gave him an eye roll:

“I… just don’t want my company’s best money-making tool to die young!”

“Tsk, you’re no fun, Shen Miaomiao,”

Gu Sheng put away the cigarette pack and popped a grape into his mouth:

“You’re too blunt. What boss says these things to their employees?”

“I call it honesty,”

Shen Miaomiao cleaned up the dishes and loaded them into the dishwasher:

“Every boss thinks like this.”

“Good, I appreciate your honesty,”

Gu Sheng praised Shen Miaomiao’s attitude:

“I’ll make our company better, create more excellent works, and build a profit legend.”

Clank!

Shen Miaomiao nearly fell headfirst into the dishwasher and quickly smiled awkwardly while waving:

“No… no need…”

“I an… don’t put too much pressure on yourself…”

After tidying up everything neatly,

the two opened the projector screen as usual, picked a variety show, chatted while watching, and enjoyed their lazy downti.

“Where to go tomorrow? Any plans?”

Gu Sheng asked while watching.

“Big brother, you really have a big heart. You’re flying to Japan on Monday, and you’re still asking where to go tomorrow?”

Shen Miaomiao looked at Gu Sheng in surprise:

“Tomorrow, of course, we’re going shopping!”

“You’ll be in Japan for at least a month, maybe one and a half to two months!”

“Clothes, shoes, accessories—what won’t you need to buy?!”

“Ah?”

Shen Miaomiao’s words seed obvious, but Gu Sheng was shocked:

“You know I’ll be gone for over a month. So tell , don’t they have those things in Japan? Why wouldn’t I just buy them there?”

“Uh…”

That one question imdiately stumped Shen Miaomiao.

Well, it was true. Japan wasn’t lacking in goods, so why not buy there during the business trip?

“Because… because…”

Shen Miaomiao hesitated for a long ti:

“Because Japanese stuff isn’t as good as ours!!!”

Shen Miaomiao said this righteously.

Gu Sheng was speechless:

“Did you think about your Shiseido skincare set before saying that?”

“Ahem…”

Shen Miaomiao scratched her face awkwardly:

“That’s… a special case! Even though skincare is applied on the face, my heart still belongs to China!”

Gu Sheng slowly gave a thumbs-up: “...Aweso.”

Just then!

Beep beep beep! Beep beep beep!

Suddenly, Shen Miaomiao’s phone alarm rang.

Gu Sheng glanced at the wall clock and saw it was almost 8 PM:

“What alarm is that? Is it your show update?”

But Shen Miaomiao jumped up from the sofa with a start!

She slapped her smooth thigh sharply!

“Ah! Ouch—”

She hit herself too hard, grimacing and gasping, waving at Gu Sheng:

“Stop stop stop, don’t watch that anymore, open the China Digital Entertainnt Association’s data statistics platform!”

“Why open that thing?”

Gu Sheng was puzzled, grabbing the wireless mouse to adjust the page:

“Don’t we have any projects going on lately?”

“Who said that! Isn’t Apex our project?” Shen Miaomiao rubbed her thigh and said: “Don’t you care about its profit and loss?”

“But it’s only been a week,”

Gu Sheng shrugged:

“Apex is a free-to-play multiplayer online ga. Usually, you don’t check weekly profit and loss stats for these gas. Normally it’s monthly or even quarterly summaries,”

“Otherwise, the ti fra is too short, and the data isn’t very aningful.”

Gu Sheng was right.

But he didn’t consider Shen Miaomiao’s specific situation!

Right now!

In just two minutes!

Her first sub-project—APEX!

Was about to receive its final settlent!!!
