This was a level of screams.

With full sensory technology enhancing the experience, BT's throw felt almost identical to being launched from a catapult for players.

Few first-ti players could withstand such overwhelming sensory stimulation.

So whether it was Dai ii,

or other strears like Ayin, Tree-ge, Donggua, Qiezi, Piāo Teacher, Ma Teacher, etc., nearly everyone failed at least once or twice at this section.

The entertainnt value exploded instantly.

[Throwing is the only solution] beca a beloved among viewers.

This brutal approach within a high-tech setting left a deep impression.

Fortunately!

After multiple attempts, players' tolerance thresholds naturally increased.

Whoosh——!!!

Finally!

After three automatic disconnections from the motion pod, six failed attempts, and five plunges into the abyss!

Tree-ge executed a perfect maneuver—using suspended tal plates for a wall-run double jump—landing steadily on the control tower platform!

"Holy shit—finally made it—"

Feeling solid ground beneath his feet, Tree-ge exhaled deeply:

"Don't call trash—try this in a motion pod yourselves, the psychological pressure makes it ridiculously hard."

As he spoke, Tree-ge located the link module through his HUD markers—at the northeasternmost control tower.

BT's throwing strength had limits—it couldn't launch him 400 ters to the target.

Now within the cluster of towering control towers, he needed to parkour between them to reach the destination.

Ti was critical.

IMC reinforcents were already arriving via unmanned transports!

[IMC Soldier: Target spotted! Target spotted!]

[IMC Soldier: Militia Pilot on Z4 platform! Engaging!]

[IMC Soldier: He's trying to reboot the signal for reinforcents! Eliminate him!]

[IMC Soldier: Charge! He's right over...]

Rat-tat—

Rat-tat-tat—

Bullets sparked at Tree-ge's feet as he dodged, then drew his Arc Gun!

The chat exploded:

'WTf? What're you doing?'

'Scientific research huh?'

'You kept that gun all this ti?!'

'Electrofishing's illegal bro'

'Yeah, electrofishing is—but electro-humans?'

'Jesus! Satan incarnate!'

'...'

"Heheh!"

Tree-ge grinned wickedly:

"Today, Professor Tree will cure your internet addiction!"

Zzzzt——!!!

As the first IMC squad approached, Yang Shu triggered the weapon—

A violent electrical arc instantly cooked the soldiers into charcoal!

It actually worked!

Ecstatic, Tree-ge charged from cover, frying enemies left and right!

Zzzzt—

Crackle! Crackle!

"Your addiction runs deep, young man!"

"You too! Hey—don't run! Higher voltage coming!"

"Scream louder! Shows how addicted you are!"

"Ah—HAHAHA! I AM THUNDER!"

"Today, Dr. Yang Shu-xin WILL cure your internet addictions!!!"

"HAHAHAHA—"

Chat lost it:

'Oh no! Strear beca the electro-therapist!'

'Dr. Yang please stop...'

'The dragon-slayer becos the dragon (crying)'

'Who could resist wielding lightning?'

'Today's cure quota: 1 addict.jpg'

'PTSD triggered'

'Edo Tensei! It's Edo Tensei! Dr. Yang got resurrected through the motion pod!'

'Stop Brother Cui! The parents are protesting outside! (crying)'

'Breaking: LinYi Internet Rehab's gone berserk! (crying)'

'...'

Chaos multiplied as more players discovered the Arc Gun's potential.

Enemies that previously required precise shots now disintegrated upon contact—delivering cheat-code levels of satisfaction.

One-shot kills.

But!

Amid the carnage, Tree-ge rembered the mission.

Whoosh—

Whoosh—

After several leaps, he slid onto the final tower's platform.

Reinforcents sward everywhere—even BT at the main tower faced anti-Titan squads.

A glance revealed energy rounds crisscrossing as IMC troops, Stalkers, and even Reapers assaulted BT.

Tree-ge accelerated his pace!

Zzzzt——!!!

His Arc Gun mowed down Stalkers and soldiers alike.

Now composed, he scaled the tower in three bursts.

"Found the link module!"

Under heavy fire!

Tree-ge pried open the casing and grabbed the briefcase-sized module.

Then—

BT's voice echoed in his helt:

[BT: Protocol 2. Objective updated. Module acquired. Holding position for extraction, Cooper.]

Looking up—

On the main platform—

BT stood besieged, staggering under artillery fire.

Yet the Titan stubbornly fought toward the platform's edge—

Determined to secure Tree-ge's landing zone!

"Damn it!"

Tree-ge spotted a zipline leading directly to BT.

Perfect shortcut!

Gripping the module, he sprinted and leaped—

Wind howled past as bullets chased his trajectory—

But nothing could disrupt his focus now!

Click!

The carabiner locked onto the cable as jump jets activated!

Whooosh——!!!

Tree-ge rocketed across the battlefield like a propelled gondola!

"HAHAHAHA—!"

Adrenaline fueled his manic laughter:

"Who flies on ziplines? !!!"

Chat erupted:

'HOLY SHIT! This is fucking SICK!'

'God—this is cinematic as hell!'

'That zipline move is genius!'

'Who flies on ziplines? DR. YANG!'

'Rena this: Fleeing From Justice'

'HAHAHAHA omg!'

'But seriously, charging through that crossfire is peak lone-wolf heroics!'

'...'

As Tree-ge neared the zipline's end—

"BT I'm coming!!!"

He disengaged mid-air—

Despite BT's apparent distraction—

Their bond ensured perfect timing.

[BT: Affirmative, Pilot.]

Instantly, BT turned—

Absorbing missiles with its body—

And opened its cockpit mid-combat!

Tree-ge landed perfectly inside with a triumphant shout:

"G-BOT—DEPLOY!!!"

Clank!

[BT: Pilot mode activated. Transferring control to Pilot.]

The chat imploded:

'G-BOT?!'

'Ruined! Completely ruined!'

'Do you have an allergy to coolness Ma Zhen?!'

'What trash does this guy watch daily...'

'BT: Should've stayed in the fucking factory...'

'HAHAHAHA I'm wheezing!'

'BT: No bit? Just bite a lighter next ti'

'This is so dumb I can't—'

'Who taught you that battle cry?!'

'Streaming Buddha...'

'Woke right up HAHA...'

'This is too much...'

'...'

As Tree-ge drew BT's Broadsword—

"Bastard IMC! Ambushing an 80,000-jin comrade!"

"TASTE MY TAIYUAN FLA BLADE!!!"

Vwoom—!

The sword cleaved through IMC ranks—

BT-7274 rampaged unchecked—

Until finally—

Boom!

The last reinforcent fell.

......

"Ugh—why —"

Winds howled as—

Dai ii clung awkwardly to the satellite dish's surface.

From this height, BT looked ant-sized.

After retrieving the module and repelling IMC—

A new problem erged—

Who would manually install it?

Brilliant question.

BT stared at Dai ii.

Dai ii stared back.

The answer was obvious.

Another bloodcurdling scream later—

She was catapulted onto the dish!

Wriggling to the center like a worm, she swapped the modules—

Click!

"Finally done! Surely nothing else—"

Groan—

The dish suddenly tilted.

"Eh...?"

Another groan—

"Eh?!"

Panic crept in as the entire structure began rotating—

GRROOOAN—

Suddenly!

The dish angled vertically—

Dai ii realized the fatal flaw—

How do I get down?!

No ti to think—

As the dish inverted completely—

"Eh... EH?! EHHH!!!"

"HOLY SH—!"

She slid off—

Plumting toward the abyss!

Ti seed to freeze—

Wind sliced her face—

Her scream tore through the mountains:

"B——T——!!!"

CLANG!!!

A massive hand caught her mid-air!

[BT: Caught you]

Gasping, Dai ii opened her eyes—

eting BT's glowing blue optic.

Blink—

BT gently deposited her on the platform.

Overwheld, she could only flash a thumbs-up.

After a processing delay—

Ding!

BT reciprocated the gesture.

"Pfft—"

Dai ii giggled.

Their bond had peaked.

Throughout this journey—

Precision tasks fell to her.

Brutal combat relied on BT.

They were partners—no, friends.

BT's occasional clumsiness only made Protocol 3 more endearing.

They'd honored Lastimosa's final wish.

She'd grown into a true Pilot.

Though still officially "provisional."

With signals transmitted—

Reinforcents arrived—

Including Commander Briggs.

Briggs examined them coldly:

"The original Pilot is confird KIA?"

[BT: Correct. Captain Tai Lastimosa deceased.]

[BT: Current neural link: Rifleman Jack Cooper.]

"Excuse ?"

Briggs scoffed:

"Lastimosa linked to a rifleman?!"

Dai ii's hand drifted toward her Mozambique—

How dare she?!

BT was Lastimosa's final gift to her!

Before she could act—

[BT: Objection.]

[BT: Cooper is my Pilot. Our combat efficiency exceeds 90%]

BT protectively enclosed her in its cockpit.

[BT: Requesting authorization to maintain current link.]

Dai ii smirked, releasing her weapon:

"Exactly! Commander!"

"Find another Pilot who matches our synergy!"

Briggs sighed—

"Fine. Given the crisis—"

"Rifleman Jack Cooper: promoted to BT-7274's official Pilot."

As Briggs walked away—

Dai ii muttered:

"BT's not a machine. He's my friend."

The screen faded—

Then displayed:

[Next mission supports multiplayer. Difficulty scales with player count.]

[Enable multiplayer?]
