"Sister, what have I done that is so excessive?"

Shi Yaoguang’s expression carried a hint of confusion and bewildernt, "Didn’t you say that I am your most important sister?"

Shi Yiqing hated her to death inside, yet she still had to pretend to show sisterly affection on the surface.

"Sister, do you not understand my feelings for you?" Shi Yiqing bit her lower lip, looking very aggrieved.

Shi Yaoguang frowned and reproached herself, "I’m sorry, sister, I shouldn’t have doubted you. I just felt... there’s sothing off about what you said."

Shi Yiqing felt a sudden jolt at the bottom of her heart and looked at her warily, fearing she would, once again, say sothing outrageous about a trial marriage.

Fortunately, Shi Yaoguang didn’t make any shocking statents this ti.

However, the shock she brought to herself was not small either.

"Sister, about the exam results, I actually have an idea."

Shi Yiqing’s pupils dilated rapidly, her heartbeat quickening, "What do you an by that, sister? Could it be that you’ve found the culprit who destroyed the test papers?"

An Siqi, upon hearing this, also felt her heart pound with apprehension.

No way?

If Shi Yaoguang brought out evidence, what would she do?

It’s not like she could just get out of the detention center and then go back in under another charge, right?

Shi Yaoguang noted the reactions of both parties and sighed before continuing, "As to who destroyed the test papers, I currently have no leads. However, I believe that evidence will surface soon."

What she said actually seed a bit muddled.

She’d just admitted to being clueless, and then turned around claiming evidence would imdiately be available, clearly indicating so other arrangent was in place.

Shi Yiqing, who read into this more deeply, supplented it with her own imagination, and suddenly felt terrified.

An Siqi was just a pawn being used and hadn’t yet realized the severity of the issue.

So, hearing Shi Yaoguang say this, she didn’t show a guilty expression.

Instead, she added insult to injury, "Whoever did this knows it well themselves. There’s no need to make it look uglier than it has to be."

"Siqi, are you saying you don’t believe ?"

An Siqi rolled her eyes, "How well you do I still not understand? Believe you? You would need the ability to earn that trust."

In her eyes, the whole situation seed completely unnecessary.

To her, Shi Yaoguang was still the sa poor student. Her request to see the test papers was just a last-ditch struggle.

She naturally couldn’t comprehend Shi Yiqing’s arrangents.

She even felt Shi Yiqing was being ddleso.

Shi Yiqing, however, was in a predicant she couldn’t articulate, having montarily lost her senses.

Right now, she feared the exposure of her secret, that destroying the test papers, although it couldn’t completely cover up the fact she’d stolen her scores, would at least partially shield her.

It was better than nothing.

Shi Yiqing comforted herself internally; the task she had entrusted An Siqi with was very secretive. Shi Yaoguang wouldn’t be able to prove anything.

Even if Shi Yaoguang had to retake the exam, it wasn’t certain she would score well.

Speaking of which, Shi Yiqing even suspected that the reason Shi Yaoguang’s pre-exam scores were so good was that Quan Jinbei had helped her.

Now that Shi Yaoguang was Mrs. Quan, it would have been easy for Quan Jinbei to obtain the test papers in advance and covertly give her the steps to solve them.

She would just need to follow those steps, and there would be no problem at all.

Thinking this, Shi Yiqing stopped worrying.

As it turned out, she had been too quick to feel relieved.

Shi Yaoguang complained in a troubled tone, "Exams and the like are just a trivial matter to . It’s my husband who thinks this situation is unfair to and insists on finding out the truth. I really have no choice but to compromise."

An Siqi, who was unaware of Shi Yaoguang’s situation with Quan Jinbei, was baffled upon hearing "my husband," "You’re in a relationship?"

Shi Yaoguang shook her head, "No."

An Siqi breathed a sigh of relief, "That’s good to hear."

After saying that, she suddenly realized sothing, "Wait, aren’t you engaged to Quan Sicheng?"

Shi Yaoguang shrugged, her gaze sweeping over Shi Yiqing.

Shi Yiqing’s face was sowhat embarrassed.

This was finally Cheng Lingdang’s chance to shine, and she eagerly jumped in as a know-it-all little angel.

"I know this!"

She called out with great ceremony, then said, "This has to start with the earth-shattering sisterly love between Shi Yiqing and my brother Shi."

Hearing about earth-shattering sisterly love, An Siqi’s mouth twitched.

Cheng Lingdang winked and grimaced at her, hehe laughing, "At first, I didn’t believe it either, but who would have thought that there really is such sisterly affection in the world. What do they call it? They may not be blood sisters, but they’re more than that!"

An Siqi had listened for quite a while without getting to the point, and was becoming a little impatient.

"Can you cut the crap?"

"Sure, sure." Cheng Lingdang nodded, very agreeable to her, "Since you don’t want to hear the ins and outs, I’ll just tell you the outco directly."

"Shi Yiqing, she really is the best sister under the sky. After my brother Shi returned ho, didn’t he make a verbal marriage promise with Quan Sicheng? Shi Yiqing, worried that Quan Sicheng might not perform well, specially proposed to help my brother test out the marriage balabalaba..."

An Siqi got the gist of it after a long ramble.

The look she gave Shi Yiqing had changed.

She had known for a long ti Shi Yiqing was no good, and had suspected her of coveting her fiancé.

She had actually harbored so thoughts herself, thinking that with Shi Yaoguang being so silly, if she married Quan Sicheng and beca Mrs. Quan, could she also step in and benefit.

And the result?

Before she could make a move, the matter fell through.

Bringing up the "test marriage" matter again was like slapping Shi Yiqing’s face in public.

So naturally, Shi Yiqing hated Shi Yaoguang even more.

Shi Yaoguang ignored her spiteful glare, and said with emotion, "Sister, you have been so good to !"

Shi Yiqing bared her teeth with no expression, just as she was about to say sothing, a sturdy man in uniform approached.

An Siqi blurted out, "It’s Jiu Yanchuan!"

Jiu Yanchuan had been looking around for a while before he spotted Shi Yaoguang and imdiately ca over.

Jiu Yanchuan was a presence rivaling the principal’s, and there were not a few who wanted to be with him.

Unfortunately, he was on An Siqi’s hunting list.

Among those present, she was the quickest to react.

The mont Jiu Yanchuan ca over, she threw herself at him.

"Big brother Jiu~"

She called out with a sweet voice, twisting her foot, clearly about to fall onto him.

The next mont.

She thudded to the ground face-first, belatedly letting out a shrill scream, "Ah—"

Jiu Yanchuan, experienced in avoiding fawning admirers, set his sights on Shi Yaoguang, "Miss Shi."

Shi Yaoguang nodded to him, "Captain Jiu."

Cheng Lingdang imdiately tugged at her sleeve, "Yaoguang, do you know him?"

Shi Yaoguang nodded, "We have so history."

Finished speaking, she looked at Jiu Yanchuan with an expectant expression, "Captain Jiu, did you co to find because there’s progress with the investigation I asked you to do?"

Jiu Yanchuan was taken aback at her words and then cooperatively responded, "Indeed, we found sothing."
