Shi Yaoguang spoke in a tone of disappointnt, "I saw you buried beneath the ruins and it took considerable effort to rescue you, yet without a word, you want to kill . What kind of reasoning is that?"

"Or is it that I have so enmity with you?"

The mysterious stranger remained silent.

Shi Yaoguang speculated on her own, "Or could it be that your heart is so rotten, you have not even a shred of gratitude?"

The mysterious stranger heard these words with no emotional fluctuation.

He was not even human to begin with, so why would he need a heart of gratitude?

Seeing that he stayed quiet, Shi Yaoguang could only keep on rambling.

"Even if you won’t behave like a person, at least let know what you’re all about," she continued.

"You can’t expect to have saved you for nothing."

Finally, the mysterious stranger spoke up, "I never asked you to save ."

Upon hearing this, Shi Yaoguang seed sowhat annoyed, annoyed that she had rescued such an ungrateful person.

But soon, her expression relaxed again.

Looking at him, she clicked her tongue lightly, "Are you sure you didn’t need rescuing?"

The mysterious stranger nodded without hesitation, "Even if you hadn’t saved , I wouldn’t have been in any trouble."

Seeing his firm conviction, Shi Yaoguang felt a bit regretful, "It seems I won’t be getting any reward."

The mysterious stranger sounded as if he heard so kind of joke, "You’re expecting a reward from ?"

That tone, it was as though he had heard sothing utterly hilarious.

But Shi Yaoguang was dead serious, "I saved you, of course I expect a reward from you. Otherwise, why would I go out of my way to rescue you?"

"Don’t tell you think I’m the kind of person with leisure to spare for charity?"

Of course, the mysterious stranger didn’t think so, but... giving a reward was absolutely out of the question.

He was already being quite generous not to turn on Shi Yaoguang right then and there, how could he possibly give a reward?

Shi Yaoguang saw what he was thinking, and her expression suddenly turned cold.

"Since you see it that way, there’s nothing I can do," she huffed with a tone that was clearly harsh, "If my rescue is for naught, then I might as well not have rescued you."

The mysterious stranger wanted to say, whether she regretted it or not, she had already pulled him out.

Regretting it now was pointless.

However.

The words that followed from Shi Yaoguang really made his heart seize.

"Since there’s no benefit in having saved you and it was rely a waste of my ti, it might be better to stuff you back in. That should at least vent my frustration."

Rolling up her sleeves, her expression was one of earnest seriousness, "To fight soone outside, one has to pay money."

"Stuffing you back in not only doesn’t cost a thing, it also lets blow off steam, so it’s not a loss."

Seeing her looking like she was truly about to make good on her words, the mysterious stranger was shocked.

He couldn’t believe that Shi Yaoguang would actually go through with it.

Seeing his expression of disbelief, Shi Yaoguang even huffed, "Is it that surprising that I would take action?"

Nonsense, it was absolutely shocking.

Who pulls off such antics?

Even if you’ve rescued soone in vain, you might curse under your breath, but who would shove the person they’ve already saved back into danger?

What was this, so kind of redemption process?

In the mind of the mysterious stranger, Shi Yaoguang had successfully beco the epito of unreasonableness.

And yet, Shi Yaoguang was not self-aware of this.

She didn’t think herself unreasonable in the slightest.

Indeed, she went ahead and shoved him back in.

To be more precise, she lifted the ice block that had crushed her earlier and threw it at him.

Shi Yaoguang’s movents seed sowhat sluggish, as the ice block was heavy and not sothing that could easily be lifted.

But...

The mysterious stranger was absolutely unable to dodge it.

He was stunned.

How could this be possible?

Shi Yaoguang, however, paid no mind to his astonishnt, calmly repeating her previous action.

She threw a large chunk of ice onto his body.

The mysterious person couldn’t avoid it and could only watch helplessly as Shi Yaoguang tossed block after block of ice onto him, stacking them like a ga of building blocks.

Watching as a small mountain piled up on him, he finally couldn’t take it anymore.

He spoke, pleading for rcy.

"Isn’t it just a reward you want? I’ll give it to you!"

Shi Yaoguang’s eyebrows lifted slightly, unimpressed, "Just a reward? I don’t want it anymore."

Her words, light as feathers, struck the mysterious person like a bolt from the blue sky.

He looked at Shi Yaoguang in disbelief, of course... assuming he had eyeballs.

Shi Yaoguang had seen with her own eyes that this person had no eyeballs.

Thinking of this, her attacks on the "person" grew even more relentless.

The mysterious person felt as though he were trapped under the Five Elents Mountain by the Buddha, unable to move.

But his existence still had unfinished tasks.

If he were to die here, it would truly be unworthy.

Thinking thus, even though he was filled with resentnt, he dared not express it and instead sought to beg Shi Yaoguang for rcy and peace.

"I was wrong before, you can have whatever you want, as long as you spare my life!"

"Spare your life?" Shi Yaoguang stopped her actions and crouched in front of him, "Tsk, it seems you are quite afraid of death."

Nonsense, who isn’t afraid of death!

The mysterious person was simply at a loss for words.

He even suspected that Shi Yaoguang was deliberately targeting him.

Just as he had this thought, he heard Shi Yaoguang say, "You don’t need to doubt anything."

The mysterious person was startled; before he could understand the aning of Shi Yaoguang’s words, he heard her casual voice.

"Whether you fear death or not, I won’t let you off."

His heart trembled with fear at her words.

He anxiously said, "Murder is against the law!"

"Murder is against the law, but..." Shi Yaoguang sneered, "Are you human?"

The mysterious person stiffened; he asked incredulously, "What do you an by that?"

"Literal aning," Shi Yaoguang said nonchalantly, "Killing you shouldn’t break the law, right?"

Upon hearing this, the mysterious person was completely at a loss.

"You can’t kill !"

That was all he could muster, a feeble attempt at a threat.

He didn’t have the capacity to say more.

After all...

He had absolutely nothing to contend with Shi Yaoguang.

Shi Yaoguang, hearing this, shook her head, with a look of helpless resignation.

"It seems you won’t shed tears until you see the coffin."

With that, she lanted with remorse, "No matter."

"Since you no longer wish to live, I shall send you to your death."

She murmured to herself, "Anyway, you’re not afraid to die, just an avatar, no matter how many tis you die, it won’t cause your complete annihilation, sothing totally inconsequential."

Hearing this, the mysterious person could no longer stay calm.

He asked with difficulty, "How did you know all this?"

Shi Yaoguang countered, "Aren’t you curious why I would appear in the farthest south?"

Upon hearing this, the mysterious person belatedly rembered this fundantal question.

Thinking of this, his expression changed once more.

Incredulity filled his eyes.

"You... you know everything?"

Shi Yaoguang countered, "Otherwise?"

"You’ve gone to such lengths to deal with , I thought you knew all along, but it turns out, you knew nothing and were just so wary of ."
