"Where’s Shi Yaoguang?"

After Quan Sicheng finished speaking, soone said, "She left early after finishing her test."

Without needing anyone to tell him, he looked around and knew that Shi Yaoguang wasn’t there.

Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly heard the aggrieved voice of Shi Yiqing, "Brother Sicheng~"

Upon hearing the voice, he finally noticed that Shi Yiqing was leaning pale-faced against a tall, thin boy.

His expression darkened, and he quickly stepped forward, pulling Shi Yiqing away from the boy, "Qingqing, what’s the deal with the forum?"

Because of the forum’s revelations, he had attracted many sympathetic, pitying, or regretful gazes along the way, but even more were those who took pleasure in his discomfort.

He was irritated by those looks; the rumors were spreading wildly, and even if he explained, no one would believe him.

The only solution was for Shi Yaoguang, the instigator, to co forward and clarify.

It wasn’t until he saw Shi Yiqing that he rembered that her involvent was part of why the rumors had spread so widely.

Just thinking about Shi Yiqing running her mouth off in public made him so angry it hurt his liver.

If it weren’t for the crowd, he really wanted to shake her shoulders and ask her, whose side was she really on?

Moreover, Shi Yiqing had said sothing about standing in for Shi Yaoguang to try out a wedding...

When he thought about the girl he believed to be his true love having less than pure intentions, his annoyance only grew.

Shi Yiqing t his eyes, which were faintly fierce, and felt her heart skip a beat.

"Brother Sicheng, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault."

She did not hesitate and imdiately apologized.

Seeing that her attitude in admitting her mistakes was good, Quan Sicheng felt his anger subside sowhat.

However, thinking of what she had done, he was still dissatisfied.

"Then explain clearly, what exactly is going on?"

"I..." Shi Yiqing closed her eyes, pulling an expression of being forced into a corner, "It was sister’s idea..."

Quan Sicheng frowned, his expression turning grim: "Did she force you?"

Shi Yiqing bit her lip, shaking her head forcefully without saying a word.

Her attitude was an obvious admission to his accusation.

To the side, Cheng Lingdang twisted a lock of her ponytail with her fingertip, clicking her tongue, "Listen to yourself, do you even speak human language?"

Shi Yiqing’s expression darkened, her aggrieved look almost collapsing.

Quan Sicheng gave her a glare, "What is this to you?"

"I happen to be an important eyewitness. You tell what this is about?"

Cheng Lingdang snickered, "Hey Quan, what exactly is your relationship with Shi Yiqing?"

Quan Sicheng glanced at the shivering Shi Yiqing, put his arm around her shoulders with a firm tone, "She is my fiancée!"

"Isn’t your fiancée Shi Yaoguang?" Cheng Lingdang asked with a curious expression. "I heard Shi Yaoguang didn’t attend the engagent party and Shi Yiqing stood in for her. Is that true?"

"Yes." Quan Sicheng felt there was nothing to hide.

Cheng Lingdang nodded, "Since you admit it, I think the matter is pretty clear."

"What do you an?"

Quan Sicheng suddenly realized sothing was amiss.

Cheng Lingdang pursed her lips, "We’re all curious about what’s the deal with the love triangle between you, Shi Yaoguang, and her. Now it’s clear."

Quan Sicheng’s brow furrowed, his voice displeased, "Clear about what?"

Cheng Lingdang spread her hands in a helpless gesture, "Isn’t it obvious from the facts?"

Shi Yiqing bit her lip, "You’re misunderstanding. The reason I stood in for my sister at the engagent party was that she was late. I had no choice but to do it."

"Just because Shi Yaoguang was late, you’d stand in for her engagent? If she gets too drunk at her wedding, would you also stand in for her in bed?"

Cheng Lingdang raised her voice: "Oh, that’s wrong! You’ve already slept with Quan. He has quite a bit of problem in that departnt; it’s hard on you, having to accept such a man."

"Eh, isn’t that what true love is? Even knowing that there won’t be any bliss after marriage, still willing to leap into the abyss. This love really moves so much, I need to find sowhere to cry."

Cheng Lingdang dramatically mid wiping away tears.

Quan Sicheng: "..."

Shi Yiqing: "..."

Fuck!!

Is Cheng Lingdang the reincarnation of an arguntative spirit or what?

She really knows how to argue!

Both of them ntally criticized Cheng Lingdang from head to toe while also being forced to clear their own nas.

Otherwise, their reputations would be completely ruined.

Unfortunately, luck was not on their side.

Just as Quan Sicheng opened his mouth, he saw Shi Yaoguang appear at the classroom doorway.

He was about to go settle accounts with her when the bell sounded the next second.

The proctor carrying the test papers stepped over Shi Yaoguang’s "tail" and walked in.

"Students, please continue with the exam."

Quan Sicheng still wasn’t ready to give up and wanted to take the chance to say sothing to Shi Yaoguang.

The proctor noticed him and personally made sure to escort him out.

Quan Sicheng: "..."

Fuck!!

...

Shi Yaoguang had deliberately tid her return for the break.

Quan Sicheng coming to the exam room to find her, she was aware of that as well.

Actually...

She hadn’t gone far, just used so tricks to blur her presence.

Then, she discovered a promising newcor.

Cheng Lingdang always felt that Shi Yaoguang’s gaze on her was kind of strange.

As for what exactly was strange, she couldn’t quite figure it out.

This question, not until much later, when many like her appeared around Shi Yaoguang, did she understand.

She was being raised as a sustainable developnt "fatty cow."

As for why not a "fatty sheep"?

A "fatty sheep" once fattened, gets slaughtered.

A "fatty cow"...

That can be enslaved indefinitely!

Even knowing she was just a cow did not stop her from feeling the pain and the joy.

Being a cow was indeed hard work, but the rewards were abundant!

Of course, this was all in the future.

At the mont, Cheng Lingdang was still just a gossip girl with the potential to be an arguntative spirit.

...

In the previous exam, Shi Yaoguang handed in her paper in advance.

In Shi Yiqing’s eyes, such behavior ant giving up on herself.

After she did the sa in the following exams, Shi Yiqing was puzzled.

After all six subjects were examined, Shi Yiqing couldn’t help but ask the boy sitting next to Shi Yaoguang about the situation.

"He Yan, do you think this exam was difficult?"

She started the conversation casually.

He Yan was the tall, thin boy, and he had always seen Shi Yiqing as a goddess. When the goddess initiated a conversation with him, his heart rate increased.

Trying to calm his heartbeat, he tried to appear composed, "The exam was a bit more difficult than usual, but it was still within an acceptable range. There’s just one problem I’m not sure about."

Shi Yiqing promptly asked, "Which one?"

"The last major question in math." He Yan explained his doubt in detail, then added, "After the exam, I thought about it, and I realized I wrote one step wrong. The correct answer should be ¾㎡."

"I couldn’t solve that problem either. It’s amazing you could figure out the right answer!"
