"Revenge? What revenge?" Sun Sitian’s face showed a trace of bewildernt as she stamred, "Isn’t this just an accident?"

Shi Yaoguang steadied Sun Sitian and carefully inspected the break on the climbing harness rope she was wearing.

Looking at the break, the rope indeed seed to have snapped due to being unable to bear the weight.

But the initial break showed signs of deliberate cutting.

In other words, the reason the rope broke was that soone had cut a notch in it beforehand, which led to the rope wearing down, resulting in the final break.

After Sun Sitian realized what happened, her face turned pale.

"Who, who is so malicious they want to kill ?"

Shi Yaoguang, eting her ashen face, sighed softly, "You were probably dragged into this because of ."

"Ah?"

Sun Sitian was stunned for a mont but quickly caught on.

She realized that Shi Yaoguang’s climbing harness wasn’t the original setup, which ant that the saboteur likely targeted Shi Yaoguang.

She was just unlucky, caught in the crossfire.

Even so, Sun Sitian was still very angry.

The person behind this was just too ruthless.

If the rope broke, causing an actor to fall from a great height, at the very least they could be paralyzed.

It could be said that such a sche was practically intending to put soone to death.

Thinking about how she almost beca a bloody ss after the rope snapped, Sun Sitian felt a surge of fear.

Fortunately, Shi Yaoguang had saved her.

With this in mind, she expressed her gratitude to Shi Yaoguang, "Yaoguang, thank you for saving ."

Shi Yaoguang shook her head, not taking any credit.

After all, this was essentially her fault for involving Sun Sitian.

Of course, she didn’t bla herself for dragging the other person into this.

The one who should pay the price wasn’t her, the victim, but the perpetrator behind the scenes.

If that person hadn’t been so malicious, neither she nor Sun Sitian would have suffered this unwarranted disaster.

...

The climbing harness rope snapped, and Sun Sitian suddenly fell from high above.

Shi Yaoguang flew out, wrapped her arms around Sun Sitian’s waist, and they landed safely.

This series of thrilling events ended in the blink of an eye.

Once they recollected themselves, Shi Yaoguang had already cald Sun Sitian down.

Wang Zhehai got up from in front of the monitor and quickly walked over to Sun Sitian.

"Sun, are you all right?"

Hearing the director’s concerned tone, Sun Sitian’s eyes reddened, and pointing at the broken rope, she accused, "Director, soone deliberately cut the rope to harm people!"

"What?" Wang Zhehai couldn’t help but show a shocked expression, "How is that possible?"

He had been making films for so many years and had seen his fair share of scheming.

But sothing like today’s incident was a first for him.

Thinking of this, his expression darkened, and his tone was filled with an ominous pressure, "Who did this?"

Sun Sitian had a suspicion in her mind but didn’t voice it outright.

Instead, she glanced at Shi Yiqing.

The mont the rope gave way, Shi Yiqing had stood frozen in place, as if her blood had instantly congealed...

Her heart was completely engulfed in anxiety.

She had never before partaken in such an overtly harmful act.

Even if there were vile sches in the past, they were hidden beneath the sunlight.

If she showed even the slightest interest, soone else would charge forward on her behalf.

She didn’t need to worry about any other issues, just as when Shi Yaoguang had just been brought back and transferred to Ruihe High School.

Originally, nobody really had any particular thoughts about her, and even if they saw her as an ugly duckling, they wouldn’t deliberately target her, given that her background was fairly decent.

With just a hint from Shi Yiqing, the "Flower Guardian" would, to win her favor, intentionally pick on Shi Yaoguang.

Such incidents were too nurous to count.

Initially, she had wanted to develop Sun Sitian into a tool against her rival Shi Yaoguang.

However...

Sun Sitian was too bizarre.

You’d say she lacked brains? She was shrewder than anyone.

Yet if you called her smart? That would be giving her too much credit.

Shi Yiqing, in her heart, had also co to bear a grudge against Sun Sitian.

This ti with the wire rig, she had intended to plot against Shi Yaoguang, wait for her to be half-crippled, then shift the bla onto Sun Sitian as the culprit.

Her perfect plan was ruined when the wires of Shi Yaoguang and Sun Sitian got switched.

Since the incident had happened, Shi Yiqing thought of simply making the best of the blunder, waiting for Sun Sitian to fall from the wire rig and then lead the crowd to bla Shi Yaoguang as the "murderer".

Who would have known that she couldn’t even make a mistake correctly!

The wire had clearly snapped, and Sun Sitian almost fell.

And yet, Shi Yaoguang was still able to interfere.

All the careful plotting had resulted in nothing more than frightening Sun Sitian.

Not a single substantial injury!

She even had the nerve to question who the true culprit behind the wire break was!

Facing the questioning looks of the crew, Shi Yiqing felt as if she were plunging into an ice cellar.

Sun Sitian’s hostility toward her was unmistakable.

"Shi Yiqing, you better hope I don’t find evidence, or else... I will never let you off the hook!" Sun Sitian challenged her openly.

Shi Yiqing, pale-faced, stamred, "I, I don’t understand what you’re talking about, don’t think you can slander ..."

"Whether it’s slander or not, you know very well," Sun Sitian snorted coldly and said to Wang Zhehai, "Director Wang, could you please have soone protect the scene? I want to seek justice for myself!"

Although this request was sowhat inconvenient for the crew, Wang Zhehai agreed without hesitation.

With decades in the industry, today’s incident was simply too abhorrent.

If he didn’t find the mastermind and punish them severely, he wouldn’t be able to swallow his pride!

Many had seen Shi Yiqing lingering around the props departnt, and she hadn’t been very careful when sabotaging the prop.

She had fancied that after Shi Yaoguang fell from a height, the scene would surely beco chaotic, and she could take advantage of the confusion to spread rumors, pinning the bla on Sun Sitian as the "murderer".

Once the act of harming Shi Yaoguang was attributed to Sun Sitian, everyone would rely think that Sun Sitian was sloppy in her work and wouldn’t suspect her.

She could then step on Sun Sitian to boost her own fa.

Thinking about these things now was useless.

Shi Yiqing could only try her best to co up with a good solution to extricate herself from the whole affair.

No matter what, her reputation couldn’t be affected.

Shi Yiqing thought, her gaze sweeping over every person present.

Eventually, it settled on Shi Yaoguang.

Belatedly, she thought of a question.

Shi Yaoguang...

How had she saved Sun Sitian?

In the rush of the mont, no one had noticed the detail.

But now, thinking back, there clearly was a problem.

Shi Yaoguang was also suspended by a wire, and at the ti, there were no staff operating the machinery, so how did she, while hanging by the wire, "fly" over to Sun Sitian and rescue her?
