The old historian, bristling with anger, exclaid, “Who says so? The history books of the Roman Kingdom record it! Amon launched a harmonious war against the Roman Kingdom, stealing the intelligence of its citizens!”

“F*ck!” The young historian couldn’t help but jump up. “How co I didn’t know about this history? No wonder the Romans nowadays are so… wise.”

“In that case, the Abyss Lord Amon is not just ordinarily evil. Poor Romans, I’ve misunderstood them all along.”

Helen, the team leader, was exhausted. She sat there, having drunk water countless tis. Hearing them talk about the Roman Kingdom, she just shook her head, refusing to comnt.

Aelioge turned his gaze to Amon, “Did you do it?”

Amon imdiately refuted, pointing at the group, “Rumors! The Romans were stupid on their own, why pin this on ?”

Aelioge let out an “Oh,” not sure if he believed Amon or not.

Amon was speechless, thinking that he indeed couldn’t let this slide.

If he didn’t address it, they would surely pin all unclear historical bla on him. How unreasonable these people were!

Before Aelioge could say anything, Amon was already agitated.

He took a step forward, his gray mist dispersing, and he reappeared in his adult form.

Aelioge was inwardly amazed.

Amon joined the historical research team and started arguing with the historians.

“Who says the Abyss Lord Amon took away the Romans’ intelligence? He wouldn’t need human intelligence.”

The old historian turned around. “Hm? What evidence do you have to say that?”

“Fool, of course you can’t disprove sothing that never happened. You should be the ones to provide evidence that the Abyss Lord Amon ever launched a harmonious war. What Roman Kingdom history books? You must have mistaken folk tales for truth!”

The young man coldly said, “If it’s true as you say that the Romans lost their intelligence due to a harmonious war, then on what basis can we trust the history they wrote afterwards?”

“You!”

The old historian was furious, his face red. He quickly went to check that book, and upon careful examination, he realized he had indeed misread it due to his farsightedness. This was actually a folk history book!

“Indeed it is…”

The young historian nodded.

The old historian turned to the young man and said, “Thank you for the correction, young man. Indeed, as historians, how can we let emotions get the better of us? We must base our historical records on fundantal facts, otherwise we’re no different from those nonsense-spouting wandering poets!”

Everyone nodded excitedly, deeply reflecting on their mistake.

But just then, soone suddenly realized sothing.

“Wait, who are you?”

All the historians turned their heads, looking puzzled.

Because upon closer inspection, they didn’t recognize this young man at all.

Amon snorted, “Who I am doesn’t matter. What’s important is that I know the truth of history better than you do.”

Hearing this, Helen, clutching her bangs, slowly raised her head. Through her haze, she saw Amon’s erald eyes.

She imdiately sobered up and shouted, “Ah!”

“What’s wrong, team leader?”

Everyone turned, looking equally puzzled.

Amon turned his head towards the source of the noise, his gaze indifferent, showing no particular emotion.

Cold sweat dripped down Helen’s neck as she stamred, “N-nothing. This young man seems to have a good knowledge of history. Why don’t we let him stay and do historical research with us?”

Everyone was dumbfounded, all thinking the sa thing: Huh?

You’re letting him join without even knowing who he is?

And then, Amon indifferently said, “I reluctantly accept.”

Huh? Many still couldn’t react.

Isn’t this developnt a bit too fast?

Helen imdiately stood up and clapped her hands, “Good, good! Everyone, give him a warm welco!”

While everyone was inwardly confused, they inexplicably started applauding in welco, wondering if this young man might be the team leader’s brother or sothing.

Aelioge, observing the developnt of events, thought to himself that Amon was undoubtedly a tsundere demon.

But it was good that he had infiltrated. Amon compiling history himself would be much faster than them.

After all, if nothing else, all their brethren knew that Amon had hyperthysia, with an extrely strong mory. When recalling the past, his brain would automatically construct mory palaces.

If their previous efficiency in compiling history was 1, with Amon joining in, if he was serious about it, increasing it to 10 or more wouldn’t be a problem at all.

Amon’s power [Existence and Nothingness]… could even erase certain events out of thin air, then mix truth with falsehood, replacing reality with fiction.

Aelioge thought that among all his brethren, Amon had the most abstract ability.

Its usage and effects were strangely bizarre, making it difficult to defend against in battle. You couldn’t even imagine how He would attack you.

He was considered an extrely dangerous demon.

Aelioge observed the historical compilation, keeping a close eye on Amon, while simultaneously synchronizing the intelligence with his other brethren.

In the bookstore, upon receiving the news, the two cats grumbled and instead blad Aelioge for his inefficiency, as he had actually let Amon know about the situation.

Aelioge was about to angrily rebuke them, thinking that even if it was to help Father find friends, there was no need to do it in such a high-profile manner.

“Appearing in front of all the national representatives and such, one slip-up could expose everything! Do you know that other brethren also have many contractors in the human world?”

Little ragdoll insisted. “But it looked so cool! Father was super cool, wasn’t he? I even recorded it.”

Hearing this, Aelioge imdiately changed his tune. “Give

the recording! I want to see it too!”

Little ragdoll rolled her eyes at Aelioge, “Anyway, you’ve got Amon under control, right?”

Aelioge glanced at the next room. Amon was now turning the tables, engaging in an intense historical education with the historical research group.

“I’ve got him under control for now. But let

say this upfront, I’ve only hinted to Him that Father might be back.”

Inpos asked in surprise. “He believed you without any evidence?”

Amon was known for his rcurial temper and extre paranoia, not listening to anyone except Father. It was unexpected that Aelioge could handle him so well.

Aelioge: “I have my ways. Anyway, I can’t leave for now. Oh, and when you get the chance, ask Father about the events of those days.”

Inpos: “What events of those days?”

Aelioge: “The seven gods who were on good terms with humans back then. Ask Father what he thought of each of them.”

The two cats exchanged glances, seeming to understand.

A long ti ago, when Father hadn’t even created Baal, there was quite a bit about Father’s experiences that they didn’t really know.

“We’ll ask when the opportunity arises.”

“Alright.”

At this mont, Xiu Si in the next room opened “Analysis of the Great ntor Matros’s Problem” and flipped through a few pages, then put down the book and took a deep breath.

It seed that only now did he realize that — his child was actually a genius!

Problems that he couldn’t even understand, his child had solved after just a few glances.

So many people were surprised at the competition site back then, as if this was so kind of historic feat, but he didn’t feel it deeply because he hadn’t seen the Great ntor Matros’s problems before.

Now that he had seen them, he could hardly describe his shock.

His child, Inpos, seed to have truly created history!

What parent wouldn’t be proud of this!

As Xiu Si was feeling excited internally, he happened to see the gray cat walking back, with the little ragdoll following behind.

What’s up, tired of playing?

Before Xiu Si could get up, both cats simultaneously jumped onto the table and owed.

“Hmm? You want

to tell you stories from those days?”

Xiu Si reminisced. “The gods from those days, let

think…”

The two cats waited obediently, and the little black and white bird playing next door also seed interested in this.

Xiu Si recalled while saying, “I’ve t all of them, though I might not have told you before. Today I can share about it.”

“The God of Luck probably didn’t like . He blessed six heroes, but not . If I rember correctly, He was quite capricious.”

Little ragdoll snorted, “Bad god!”

“The Goddess of Harmony was equally friendly to all people. I didn’t have any special interaction with Her.”

“The sa goes for the Goddess of Virtue. We only exchanged words once at most.”

“The Goddess of Wisdom seed interested in my profession as a creator. She chatted with

a bit.”

Inpos curiously asked what they talked about.

Xiu Si thought for a mont and said, “I can’t rember the details, but I recall one thing She said. She said that creation was an ability only gods could possess, yet I sohow had it too. It was truly extraordinary.”

The two cats were montarily stunned. Was that so?

Xiu Si skipped this topic and continued, “The God of Flas had a fiery temper. Although He assisted humans, He never appeared before the hero squad. I only saw His figure from afar.”

“The God of Earth and Sky was considered neutral, with a changing stance, flip-flopping back and forth.”

“You’re asking about the Primordial God of Humans?”

Xiu Si tried hard to think, but finally shook his head. Apart from eting Him briefly at the beginning, he couldn’t rember anything else. He could only say that He was a very aloof god.

Because the country had sacrificed a year’s worth of fortune, humans had high expectations for the heroes, hoping for seven overwhelmingly strong warriors. But things didn’t go as planned, and he ended up dragging them down.

As if there was a bug, his combat ability could only be described as tragic.

“Why are you asking about these things?”

Xiu Si looked at the two cats, glancing left and right at their eyes.

They imdiately choked up, only able to say they were curious.

However, their questions left Xiu Si with a slight doubt.

“The god who summoned us to this world…”

Muttering between his teeth, Xiu Si fell into deep thought.

On the other side.

As soon as Levin returned to the palace, he received news of Sword Saint Ferrol’s escape.

He realized belatedly and imdiately ran to the Pri Minister, “Norwich, did you deliberately set

up?”

The Pri Minister looked up, slowly put down his glasses, and spoke slowly, asking, “Your Majesty, what do you an by ‘deliberately’?”

Levin rushed to the Pri Minister’s side, staring at him across the desk, and said, “You knew Ferrol wouldn’t co for revenge on , yet you led

to flee.”

The Pri Minister calmly said, “That’s hard to say. Ferrol has certainly targeted you, but he’s just wary of the power behind you, which is why he hasn’t stord the palace to kill you.”

Levin choked, realizing that this explanation made sense.

The Pri Minister changed the subject, “By the way, weren’t you looking for the ‘Number One Ranked’? How’s that search going?”

Levin’s breath caught, but he pretended to know nothing, “I couldn’t find them. I don’t think the Number One Ranked is in the Imperial City.”

“I see.”

The Pri Minister didn’t seem to care much about this matter, maintaining his usual calm deanor.

Suddenly, Levin realized that the Pri Minister had never t Mr. Yi Xiusi.

During the Cat Skill Competition, the Pri Minister was supposed to be present, but he said he had governnt affairs to handle at the last minute and didn’t co. Otherwise, with the Pri Minister’s keen eye, he probably would have seen through Mr. Yi Xiusi’s true identity.

Thinking of this, Levin looked at the Pri Minister with a subtle gaze.

The Pri Minister said, “I heard there was a genius cat who solved the Great ntor Matros’s problem in the competition. It’s truly remarkable. I regret not seeing it in person.”

His statent was a bit strange. The current rumor spreading around was that the little kitten had imitated its owner, and the answer wasn’t solved by the cat, but that the owner already knew the answer, and the cat had rely written out the owner’s solution.

But the Pri Minister said the cat had solved it.

Does he really not know anything? Levin grew suspicious.

The Pri Minister remained nonchalant and continued asking, “Instructor Millard is very concerned about this matter. He later asked

if I knew where Mr. Yi Xiusi lived.”

“Is that so.”

Levin couldn’t see through the Pri Minister, nor could he understand which stance the Pri Minister took in this series of events.

The Pri Minister turned his gaze towards him, “If there’s nothing else, Your Majesty, please return. I still have governnt affairs to handle.”

An impeccable statent.

Levin walked out of the room, intending to let it go, but a few hours later, he still felt sothing was odd.

The Pri Minister’s face sotis seed like a mask.

But the Pri Minister was a native-born local, with a verifiable background, and there was no possibility of a switch midway.

What could be wrong with the Pri Minister’s identity?

Levin walked in the corridor, lost in thought, almost unseeing of his surroundings. After a few minutes, he was still puzzled.

Suddenly, Levin had an idea. Why not ask the great Cat God?

Half an hour later, he found an opportunity to run to the bookstore again.

Xiu Si happened to be out, with only the gray cat left at the entrance.

The gray cat, hearing what he said, had so impression. When he followed Father to the imperial council earlier, he seed to have sensed an unusual gaze.

He was too excited at the ti and didn’t pay much attention, but thinking back now, he realized sothing was off.

“Alright, I’ll go with you to take a look.”

The gray cat nodded.

Levin was overjoyed.

In just a few seconds, the man and the cat arrived at the Pri Minister’s residence.

The gray cat sensed with his magical powers but didn’t detect any special force. However, he did feel that the Pri Minister’s position was a bit off.

“Let’s go take a look.”

Levin visited the Pri Minister’s study twice in one day, this ti with a small gray cat following behind.

Levin: “Norwich, there’s sothing I’d like to ask you.”

The Pri Minister slowly raised his head, his gaze passing over Levin and quietly landing on the gray cat.

Inpos was imdiately startled, his cat eyes widening.

How could it be you?!
