Xiu Si woke up the next day and slowly sat up. As he casually felt the bedding, his hand seed to touch sothing. His pupils trembled as he pulled it out – it was actually a cat tail.

When he lifted the blanket further, he saw the bed was full of cats.

Four cubs were sleeping around him on each side, looking like four fluffy stuffed animals, their bodies gently rising and falling with their breaths. Their higher body temperature made the bed feel warm and cozy. So were lying prone, so were showing their bellies, their paws curled up like caterpillars.

“This…”

Xiu Si’s brain seed to freeze for a mont. He blinked, sowhat doubting if he was seeing things wrong. He casually touched beside him again, and the sensation was real and warm. Only then did he confirm this wasn’t a dream – the children had actually climbed onto his bed to sleep!

Although this had happened before, wasn’t today’s number a bit much?

He couldn’t help but wonder, why was this?

Xiu Si cast his gaze to the cat bed in the corner of the room, secretly guessing, could it be that the cat bed was uncomfortable to sleep in, so the children ca to sleep on the bed?

His gaze moved around the room and found the white cat still sleeping soundly, its chubby body curled up into a ball, looking especially cute.

And the other cat in the room who hadn’t climbed onto the bed was his most virtuous little munchkin cat.

“Cele,” Xiu Si couldn’t help but call out the na.

The little munchkin cat, suddenly being called out, paused slightly while pushing a cup of milk. Then, He slowly turned His head and let out a soft ow.

He was wearing a light blue frilled apron today, the style of which was delicate and cute – another critical hit to the old father’s heart.

Xiu Si looked at the little munchkin cat, a trace of daze flashing in his eyes. It took him quite a while to co back to his senses, and a doting smile appeared on his face.

ow…huh. His children had all exposed that they could talk now, yet they still maintained their cat-like habits, seeming to have so special preferences.

However, in a sense, weren’t their personalities very cat-like to begin with?

Xiu Si understood it as a kind of cosplay, found it was indeed so, and imdiately felt relieved. Haha, whatever, as long as they liked it.

Speaking of which, they were all still sleeping. If he got up, he would probably wake them up.

Xiu Si hesitated, and unusually woke up half an hour late. He picked up the alchemy book on the bedside table to read for a while and wait a bit longer.

Soon, sunlight from the balcony outside shone into the room, happening to fall on the little Siase cat’s bottom.

The bed-loving little Siase cat felt the warmth on its bottom, squinted its eyes, then opened them, was confused for a mont, and imdiately looked toward the black-haired youth leaning against the wall.

His eyes imdiately lit up. ow, Father! First thing in the morning and He saw Father!

The little Siase cat sprang up from bed and imdiately rushed toward His father’s embrace, but ow, He had only taken a few steps when He suddenly tripped!

The troublemaker was Amon. Amon had just woken up too, and catching a glimpse of Botis trying to run first, hehe, how could He let Botis succeed? So He quietly stretched out His cat paw and successfully tripped the little Siase cat.

The little Siase cat was now burning with rage, His gaze fierce as He glared at the Chinchilla Amon. After successfully tripping the little Siase, Amon quickly got up and fled the scene at an amazing speed, so fast it was practically quicker than a rabbit.

However, in the next second, Amon suddenly fell flat on His face with a “thud”. It turned out that what tripped Him was an orange cat tail. Amon imdiately beca furious and glared fiercely at Beleth – this big orange tabby who had committed the “cri”.

Although Beleth was usually a polite and friendly demon who generally wouldn’t argue or fight with His siblings, when it ca to protecting Father, He would show exceptional firmness.

“You two trying to assault Father first thing in the morning, too despicable ow!”

As soon as the words fell, the big orange tabby pounced forward without hesitation.

However, in the next second, He was also unexpectedly tripped.

The gray cat didn’t an to – He had just woken up and who knew the big orange tabby would step on Him, causing himself to trip.

The gray cat felt speechless, but as the cat closest to Father, He naturally had priority!

Inpos imdiately turned His head and began to move.

However, the little Siase and little Chinchilla weren’t pushovers – they quickly reacted. How could they let the gray cat be so arrogant!

Charge!

The two flying cats pounced fiercely, instantly pinning down the gray cat firmly.

Inpos was practically cursing demons in His heart – did these fellows really have to take things this far!

Seeing the situation wasn’t good, the big orange tabby shouted, “Little brother, I’m coming to save you!”

However, He accidentally tripped, and His entire cat body ca crashing down like a mountain onto the other three cats.

At this point, they could no longer hold back and started owing loudly, attracting the attention of the black-haired youth by the wall.

Xiu Si was reading his book, not knowing his children had all woken up, and… he looked closely, instantly dumbfounded.

What were they doing? He saw them with paws grabbing paws, Him hugging Him, Him holding Him, tightly clutched together like a string of closely connected cat dumplings. That soft and squishy appearance was extrely cute.

Xiu Si couldn’t help but smile – early in the morning, the children were already active and playing so intimately, seeming to have a very good relationship.

His smile made the cats freeze instantly. Their paws, which had been tightly gripping their siblings, relaxed, and a single thought unanimously jumped into their minds:

ow, Father looks so good when he smiles ow!

They say cats’ brains average only 30 grams. After they turned into cats, their brains naturally followed suit, each one more silly than the last.

The little munchkin cat sat on the bedside table, watching His brothers’ dazed expressions, and tilted His head.

At this ti, seeing that all the children were awake, Xiu Si began to tidy up the bed and prepare to get up. He said softly, “Let’s get up early and go sunbathe.”

He gently picked them up one by one from the bed. When he ca to the orange cat, his movents paused slightly, but he still successfully lifted the chubby orange cat off the bed.

The orange cat’s fur was soft and full, feeling extrely good to touch. Xiu Si couldn’t resist gently stroking His fur and even buried his face to nuzzle affectionately. However, he didn’t notice that the four cats behind him were staring at him intently.

They began to whisper among themselves, secretly guessing: Did Father really prefer chubby cats? But Father’s waist didn’t seem too good – yesterday they saw with their own eyes that Father almost threw out his back when picking up Third Brother!

What should they do? What strategy should they adopt?

And so began a morning full of cat acrobatics and scheming.

The big orange tabby ca to His senses and found Himself also caught up in the spiral of competing for affection – why were they fighting endlessly and even disturbing Father?

At noon, Xiu Si was sitting at the bookstore entrance, putting down his book to read so news.

[Alliance: The seven great magic families have pretty much spilled everything, but they dare not say who the mastermind is even on pain of death]

[Aust: It’s said they found out it was people from the Church of Dawn]

[Oedipus: The Church of Dawn is spread throughout the world. People have long said they have ulterior motives and are secretly infiltrating various countries. Our country suspects the Church of Dawn is the power behind the seven great magic families]

[Khaos: Agree. Our country has already begun eliminating all Church of Dawn churches and industries, thoroughly investigating their actions over these years]

[Roman: Does the Great Empire of Khaos have any thoughts on the situation with the God of Chaos?]

[Hammurabi: The God of Chaos’s volu is growing, and will eventually completely envelop our planet. Does the Great Empire of Khaos have any counterasures for this?]

The pressure seed to be on the Great Empire of Khaos.

This was normal – among all human countries, the Great Empire of Khaos was the only one that had ever worshipped the God of Chaos. They had studied the God of Chaos and developed theological theories centered around the God of Chaos. They should provide concrete and effective theoretical guidance for dealing with the God of Chaos, and even beco pioneers in resisting chaos, if they believed that having once worshipped the God of Chaos was sothing to repent for.

However, the Great Empire of Khaos had yet to respond to this. Ten minutes passed, and the system still showed no diplomatic movents from them.

The long wait began to make other countries grow suspicious.

They couldn’t help but suspect that the Great Empire of Khaos might turn to the God of Chaos and ally with It for self-preservation. After all, as a nation that worshipped the God of Chaos, they had a deep foundation of faith, and such a move might not cause too much opposition.

“How will things develop?” Xiu Si pondered silently.

His current level was only 45, his influence on world affairs was negligible. He could only observe and understand as much as possible to prepare for contingencies and ensure the children’s safety.

Just as Xiu Si was lost in thought, he suddenly felt a gentle tapping sensation. Looking up, it turned out to be the little munchkin cat gently pounding his arm with His paw.

Those cat paws were both pounding and kneading, clearly imitating human massage movents.

Regardless of whether this massage could actually relieve fatigue, just this scene alone made Xiu Si feel his heart lting from the cuteness!

Seeing this, the other cats also rushed over wanting to help.

In the blink of an eye, a large group of cats had gathered around Xiu Si.

The old father’s heart couldn’t be happier!

After a while, the Siase cat secretly cursed at the Chinchilla cat. “Amon, why aren’t you doing your howork, what are you doing clinging to Father here!”

The Chinchilla cat chuckled and said, “I’ve already started my howork, I can write quickly by Father’s side!”

The silver cat who had just crawled out from under the blanket was very speechless, “Can you two perverts go farther away, stop disturbing Father, Father needs to study!” Beelzebub had been pressed down by the big orange tabby, and had been sleeping so deeply He almost got squished without knowing.

Botis and Amon said simultaneously. “You say this but get off Father’s legs first!”

The silver cat was thick-skinned and said sternly. “Father is mine!”

The Siase cat’s fur stood on end. “How dare you! Father is mine!”

The Chinchilla cat snorted coldly. “All of you get lost, Father is mine!”

These three cats refused to yield to each other, hostility surging between them.

At this critical mont, there was an urgent need for a mature and steady demon to take control of the situation and quell this ugly fight!

The gray cat watched all this, shocked speechless, muttering softly. “You’re all talking nonsense, dare you say this in front of Big Brother…”

anwhile, the little munchkin cat beside them looked bewildered, almost squeezed out by the tense atmosphere between them. His eyes were full of fear and confusion as He let out a weak ow helplessly.

Seeing this, the big orange tabby sighed helplessly, quickly stood up high, and using His Word Spirit authority, shouted loudly. “That’s enough from you all! Stop fighting!”

His voice was full of Word Spirit authority and successfully controlled the situation.

The gray cat and little munchkin cat both looked at the big orange tabby.

The three troublemaker cats were stunned for a mont, but quickly recovered and complained dissatisfied.

“What do you an enough.”

“Beleth, you take up the most space!”

“You’re the least qualified to talk.”

They were unruly, cursing and grumbling.

The big orange tabby put His paws on His hips, making Himself look even bigger, and shouted with raised paws. “Have you forgotten we need to deal with the mastermind!”

The five cats suddenly paused, their gazes gradually uniting. Oh right, they had a common enemy, that fellow who had hurt Father multiple tis and was still plotting to harm Father. A demon might endure but not this, kill kill kill!

The big orange tabby’s voice carried the unique infectiousness of a wandering poet demon as He called out. “We can’t fight among ourselves, internal fighting will only weaken us, we need to unite and work hard to catch that bad guy!”

Oh oh, good job fatty, quite the speaker!

But to Xiu Si’s ears, they were just owing from beginning to end.

ow talk, like encrypted dialogue, completely incomprehensible. Xiu Si watched them from the corner of his eye, thinking they must be chatting?

He stood up, and they hung onto him like martial artists, mysteriously controlling their weight so that he only felt like he had several cat-shaped balloons on him.

Haha, so cute.

He casually picked up the dazed little munchkin cat and slowly walked to the bedroom. Seed like he wanted to take a nap.

He didn’t have a habit of taking naps, never had since childhood. Even when tired he would only close his eyes for a while, but today he felt sowhat uneasy.

Not because of the children’s long-absent liveliness, but…

Xiu Si was puzzled in his heart. He seed to have caught so child’s thoughts, yet couldn’t determine where that child was. An impulse surged in his heart to ask about their situation, to know what they were thinking, if they were well. However, his inquiry was like a stone sinking into the sea, receiving no response.

At this confusing mont, Xiu Si suddenly thought that perhaps he could communicate with the other party on a spiritual level through ditation.

In the depths of his mind, he seed to catch a faint sound, which sounded like Lelagin’s voice, though it was extrely subtle and almost unrecognizable.

The cats were originally lively, but at this mont they seed to sense Xiu Si’s mood, and after returning to the room, they quieted down, their bright big eyes staring intently at him.

Xiu Si couldn’t help but ask. “Has Lelagin encountered so trouble?”

The cats all widened their eyes when they heard this question, as if surprised by Xiu Si’s sudden inquiry.

But what kind of trouble could Lelagin have encountered?

At this ti, the big orange cat spoke. “Fourth Brother is looking for Lelagin ow, and Fifth Brother too ow.”

Xiu Si: “Did They say anything?”

The big orange cat shook its head, “Haven’t said anything ow.”

“Is that so?”

“They should find him soon ow.”

“Nothing bad will happen to Him, right?”

“No ow, we can sense His aura ow!”

Since They said so, it must be true. Xiu Si thought that there was no need to doubt Lelagin’s safety, He was probably just stuck sowhere, and needed Samikina and Marbas to work together to find Him.

Seeing that Xiu Si had no more questions.

The five cats exchanged glances, and quickly asked Marbas in the Cat Head demon group.

Amon: @Marbas Fifth Brother, how’s Fourth Brother’s search for Lelagin going?

At this mont, Marbas by the Erald Lake raised his eyebrows, answering in the ntal shared domain. “Still searching, why do you suddenly ask about this?” Shouldn’t you hope that Samikina finds Lelagin later?

Botis: “Father asked, he might have sensed sothing.”

Marbas imdiately sat up, shocked. “What did Father sense?”

Beelzebub: “He just asked us if Lelagin had gotten into trouble.”

Marbas frowned, casting his gaze toward the Erald Lake, observing. “There’s nothing unusual on my end.”

Beleth: “Did Fourth Brother not say anything?”

Marbas paused, then answered. “He said He called out to Lelagin, but Lelagin didn’t respond, He said Father had returned, and Lelagin didn’t react to that either.”

They were incredulous – Lelagin had no reaction to the words “Father has returned”?

Could He have lost His mory?

Marbas: “Most likely lost His mory. Fourth Brother is solving a Rubik’s cube inside, trying to get Lelagin’s permission to enter the domain.”

Amon: “He still loves playing with Rubik’s cubes.”
