Tangchen Yipin was completed in 2009, and as soon as it hit the market, it beca the most luxurious high-rise residential building in Modu, and even in the whole country.

Located next to Binjiang Avenue in the Financial District of Lujiazui, it consists of two 40-story and two 44-story luxury apartnts, as well as a high-end riverside clubhouse.

To the left is the International Financial Center, to the right is the Wealth Center, behind is the Global Building, facing the Pujiang River, there should be no high-rise residential building with a better location in the whole of Modu.

In recent years, with the real estate market booming, property prices in Tangchen have also soared, reaching up to 240,000 per square ter, with the smallest apartnt size being 434 square ters, selling for 110 million yuan.

A luxury property costing over a hundred million yuan.

While Lu Liang could not afford to buy, he could rent.

Tangchen Yipin has four buildings, with buildings A and C for sale, and buildings B and D for rent.

Lu Liang was very familiar with the place and knew how much the monthly rent was, so he directly took Li Manli to the sales departnt of building B.

After learning about the apartnt types and styles, the two followed the sales manager to one unit on the 28th floor of building B.

The elevator doors opened directly into the apartnt, one elevator per unit, four bedrooms and two living rooms.

The furniture and appliances were all top international brands and were very new, showing no signs of use.

Because this unit was custom-designed by Tangchen Group for rental purposes, no one had yet lived there.

"Mr. Lu, with a monthly rent of 85,000 including property managent and a free parking space, the contract is for two years, with six months' rent as deposit and paynt every three months. Is there anything else you would like to know?"

The property manager, smiling broadly and forthright because Lu Liang had arrived in a Bentley.

After all, everyone has two eyes and a mouth, and my wealth isn't written on my face, but a car is the best tool to display wealth.

Driving a Bentley at a young age might lose one their inferiority complex, but it earned respect.

"No problem, let's sign the contract."

Lu Liang had taken a tour around and loved the balcony the most, over a hundred ters above the ground with a very open view and the river breeze making one feel relaxed and happy.

He believed the night view would be even better, so he directly transferred 765,000 to allow the property managent to arrange for cleaning, planning to move in the next day.

"Alright, alright," the manager said with a broad smile, pulling out the rental contract to review with Lu Liang.

He also took out a map of the neighborhood, introducing the various exits as well as how deliveries and takeouts were handled.

The property provided door-to-door service, as long as one filled out the floor and apartnt number correctly, the delivery staff would bring items to the door.

Being the top neighborhood in the country, for the safety of the hoowners, they certainly could not allow random people to co and go freely.

"Monthly rent seventy-eight thousand..." Li Manli was stunned.

She didn't understand the value of luxury cars, nor was she greatly moved by them.

She just felt it was not cheap, otherwise it wouldn't attract the glances of passersby.

But a high-end apartnt with a monthly rent of seventy-eight thousand truly shocked her.

Although she earned a good salary working in a club, she didn't accompany custors for drinks, and her monthly salary was just over nine thousand.

And the apartnt Lu Liang was renting cost as much as nearly half a year of her salary.

How could Li Manli not be moved? She wandered alone through the various rooms, finding even a normal secondary bedroom more spacious than her own apartnt.

The view from each room was impressive, even if not facing the river; at the very least, there was the lush greenery of a small park below.

And it was very quiet, without the roar of bustling cars or the annoying loudspeakers from a supermarket downstairs.

After a while, Lu Liang finished signing the contract and ca back to find Li Manli standing on the balcony, gazing into the distance.

The balcony was very large, about twelve ters long and five ters wide, with a pool table that was almost new placed beside it.

Lu Liang joined her, pointing to a hotel on the opposite bank, "We just had our al there."

"Yes," Li Manli's mind was filled with countless thoughts, feeling like the afternoon's experiences were almost surreal.

Having money seed really great, being able to eat whatever you want, live wherever you want.

"I have so things to do later, and you have work tonight. Should I drop you back at your apartnt, or should I take you to the office?"

Lu Liang felt it was about ti, he had already shown Li Manli a glimpse of paradise; it was ti to bring her back to reality.

He always thought that "Transford" was a very malignant show, not to ntion its fabrication and star-making, its premise was problematic.

Rich kids going to the countryside to experience the hardships of life could indeed make them appreciate where their life's comforts co from, and even if they didn't fully grasp it, there was no harm done.

But taking poor kids, whose worldviews were not yet ford, to experience a rich lifestyle for a while, and then sending them back to their rural hos to chop wood and farm...

The stark disparity was hard enough for adults to accept, let alone a child.

"Liang, take back to the apartnt first."

Li Manli was distracted, feeling very conflicted.

On one hand, she hoped Lu Liang would speak up, even if just to joke with her about reserving a room.

On the other hand, she wondered if she would agree or not if Lu Liang actually said that.

It seed like there were two little people arguing in her mind, yet until they got back to the apartnt, Lu Liang had not ntioned it.

"Liang, I'm going upstairs."

Li Manli felt lost and waved goodbye to Lu Liang.

"Manli, wait." Lu Liang stopped her, pulling out a box, "This is for you, thanks for accompanying to view the house this afternoon."

A 128GB Apple 6 from China, priced at 7200 yuan, which he had purchased while signing the contract.

Li Manli was stunned, her lips curling upward as she quickly waved her hand, "That's too valuable, I can't accept it."

"Just keep it, bye."

Lu Liang smiled, not giving her a chance to refuse, pressed the accelerator, and waved as he drove away.

Money is to be shown to won, not spent on them, he agreed with this point wholeheartedly.

But before fishing, one still needs to bait the fish.

Before long, Lu Liang received a text from Li Manli, "Liang, thank you for the gift."

Lu Liang read the text but didn't reply, deciding to leave her hanging for a while; their next eting should successfully lead to further advances.

He returned to Peace Hotel, found Tan Tao, and decided not to extend his room. However, he did want to extend the lease on the Bentley for another half a month.

Having liquid cash was crucial; Lu Liang had no intention of buying cars or houses yet, planning to make a modest goal first before considering those things.

Tan Tao smiled, signifying no problem, and enthusiastically offered more car models for Lu Liang to choose from.

Still, Lu Liang chose the Bentley again; he liked the logo with the B and double wings.

This expenditure cost another 120,000.

"Having money doesn't an you can be reckless. I need to be more cautious for a while."

Lu Liang reflected, as there was only about fifty thousand left in his account.

Less than 24 hours, and nearly a million had been spent.

Although the majority was on the house and car, the expenses were still significant.

Lu Liang's desire to make money swelled; he couldn't allow himself to lose this carefree lifestyle.

At three o'clock in the afternoon, the trading week ended, with Chinese Online closing at 17.5 yuan, a drop of 1.95%.

Zhang Qian had been monitoring continuously, but she stayed calm and did not rush to confront Lu Liang. She planned to observe for a few more days.

After all, if the stock soared next week,

that would undoubtedly an a missed fortune, and a wasted effort.

On Saturday noon, Lu Liang checked out.

He left the Peace Restaurant and officially moved into Tangchen Yipin.

Li Manli had been ssaging him since last night:

"Liang, I'm off to work."

"Liang, what are you up to?"

"Liang, I just woke up. Have you moved yet?"

Lu Liang only replied to the ssages he was interested in: "Not yet, I've been busy. I plan to move later."

Li Manli sent a proud emoji, "Then, do you need to help you shop for so things?"

"It would be great if you could help ; I'll contact you once I'm free."

Lu Liang's lips twitched into a smile, put away his phone, and headed to the gym in the complex to work out; he profoundly understood the benefits of exercise.

He wanted to be carefree until he was eighty and needed a robust physique.
