Chapter 615: 449, White Dove City, the sun rises

The erald grassland undulated unpredictably, like the surging waves of a high tide.

A faint sense of oppression in the wind settled on Augutuo’s shoulders.

Who was it?

Augutuo squinted into the distance, feeling an uneasy premonition.

Had the fact that he accepted the gifts from Dragon’s Rest Tomb been exposed?

If the Empire dispatched the Knights Punisher, who specialized in hunting heretics, trouble would be inevitable.

...

The people on the grassland, seeing Augutuo’s uncertain expression, were all puzzled.

A few seconds later, they perceived the oppressive presence swiftly approaching from afar.

“Captain, did you notify the Young Wolf King in advance?” Abner was the first to react.

If Weylon had sensed sothing off with Augutuo and asked the Young Wolf King for help, the latter probably wouldn’t have refused.

But, Weylon was just as shocked.

The situation developed beyond everyone’s expectations.

All eyes turned northward.

“This presence… Moon rank!” Fry exclaid in astonishnt.

As an archer by profession, he possessed the skill “Scout” and was highly sensitive to various types of auras.

At this mont, Fry’s fingers trembled so much that he could hardly grip his bowstring.

Even from a kiloter away, the other’s presence was terrifying!

Who exactly was this person?

Tim scratched his head and mumbled, “Why does it feel like they’re stronger than Captain Augutuo?”

“This is bad, it’s probably not a level 40 Moon rank!” Celina had the urge to retreat, quietly leading her team mbers to the back.

Augutuo was at a loss about who it could be, feeling extrely anxious.

“No matter! I am a Bloodline Moon Rank; defeating an opponent one or two levels above is not uncommon.

Besides, I have the Blood Pool that can evade most attacks.

I can attack or defend as needed!”

After rapidly thinking things through, Augutuo’s mind settled.

No matter who that person was, they would all fall before him!

As the black speck in the sky approached a kiloter’s distance, everyone finally made out the figure.

Fry: “What’s going on, one, two, three… all Moon ranks? Where did so many co from?”

“It’s not just three!”

Even Timo was alard, his round raccoon ears pressed tightly against his head as he said, “Six of them, all Moon ranks!”

If their opponent had been alone, they believed that, with Augutuo’s special attributes of Blood System Fighting Spirit, they could prevail despite being weaker.

But it wasn’t just one “black speck.”

It was a cluster!

Augutuo’s face changed color.

As powerful as he was, he couldn’t handle six opponents.

“Sothing’s not right! Where did all these Moon ranks co from!

Could it be that what that girl Aiko said was true, and she’s on very good terms with her father, Rocher?

Did the people from the Holy Rock Adventure Team co to help her?”

Augutuo took out the Teleportation Stone.

The Deed of Commitnt could wait.

The Holy Rock Adventure Team was too strong for him!

The black specks drew ever closer.

Augutuo’s hand holding the Teleportation Stone lit up, ready to retreat.

All of a sudden.

A thick brown beam of light, as wide as an arm, swept across the sky and struck the Teleportation Stone.

Crash!

Under the robust magic power of the brown light column, the Teleportation Stone was instantly reduced to dust!

Augutuo’s eyelids twitched wildly; the magic power contained in that spell was terrifying. Had he been careless and got hit, he probably would’ve been gravely injured.

There was no mage of this caliber in South Rock City.

Could it be… Augutuo’s heart skipped a beat, and cold sweat stread down his forehead.

In an instant, the distance between them shrank to a hundred ters.

Augutuo finally saw the other’s face.

On the erald grassland, an eerie silence prevailed.

The thoughts of the crowd were varied.

But they were essentially divided into two factions.

The adventurers from White Dove City were mainly excited and ecstatic. The people from Red Heart City, on the other hand, were as white as sheets, looking utterly desolate.

In Augutuo’s pupils, reflected the figure of a familiar yet strange young man, who was “definitely” going to fail in his ventures and was recuperating in White Dove City.

“How could the Aweis Guardian Knight possibly be vanquished by an Iron Level adventure team?

Lady Bai Mian clearly told that they would et their demise on the 19th floor!”

Augutuo was stunned within.

“It’s him again!”

Fry, Timo, and Celina, the three of them, were haunted by painful mories.

Even as Star Rank adventurers, they had been no match for him.

At their next encounter.

They never expected that their opponent had already reached Moon rank.

And all of them were Moon rank!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Six Moon rank adventurers with colorful Light Wings unfurled landed in formation on the ground.

Their formidable aura combined, and just the six of them managed to overwhelm the coalition of a hundred from Red Heart City.

The disparity between Moon rank and Star rank was unmistakable.

With just one Augutuo in Red Heart City, the balance of power could shift.

Now that these six Moon ranks joined the battlefield, the scales of victory didn’t just tip—they were seized by them and pocketed.

Leading them was a young man in a charred adventurer’s outfit, his trousers tattered and his top like strips of cloth.

The girls behind him had changed their attires during the flight.

The young man swiftly scanned the surroundings.

His gaze brushed past Fry, shivering in fear, Klrona with her reddened eyes, Lia biting her lip and standing with her sword propped up…

The killing intent in the young man’s eyes roared like a gale and poured down like torrential rain.

Dark magic power erged on his surface; as he walked, the grass beneath him vanished as if it were being erased from a canvas.

This alarming sight caused the people from Red Heart City to retreat in panic.

The young man approached Weylon, who was kneeling on the ground, stupefied, lifted him back to his feet.

Looking at the grim-faced adventurers from White Dove City, he was filled with indescribable indignation and excitent.

Surveying the crowd, the young man declared in a deep voice, “Everyone, the sunrise of White Dove City has already risen.”

From then on, White Dove City was no longer a place without a Sunrise Level adventure team.

They could speak on equal terms with Red Heart City, and even South Rock City.
