At four o'clock in the early morning, Chen Yu and Tong Ya got up early and arrived at the airport.

Today was the weekend, so the airport was still quite crowded at this ti.

With more than an hour left before the plane's departure, Chen Yu went to the airport's fast-food restaurant and bought two breakfasts to bring back.

They had left in a hurry that morning and hadn't had ti to eat anything.

Tong Ya had just taken a sip of soymilk when her eyebrows knitted together.

"Husband, this soymilk tastes much worse than the one from our store. Had I known about the flight delay, we could have had sothing to eat there before coming over," she complained.

Chen Yu also took a sip.

In the realm of ordinary soymilk, this flavor could be considered premium, but compared to the soymilk he made, it was worlds apart.

"Indeed, it's not very good, but we still need to eat sothing. It's at least twelve hours from here to Frankfurt. If we get hungry midway, we'll only have airplane food to eat, and that's worse than this breakfast," he replied.

Tong Ya, having no choice, pinched her nose and ate the breakfast in her hands.

Apologies from the airline staff kept ringing throughout the airport, continuously explaining the reasons for the flight delays.

Even so, many people were still crowding around the ticket counter, giving the staff a hard ti.

Chen Yu and Tong Ya, as a couple, appeared extrely calm. To them, this was just a journey—worst case, they could simply catch the flight the next day.

The pair had just finished their breakfast when they heard a scream from a counter not far away.

An elderly man, slightly overweight, suddenly lay on the ground, convulsing, with a stylishly dressed and dignified-looking woman squatting beside him, nervously providing first aid.

From her resuscitation technique, the woman appeared very professional, intermittently pressing on the man's chest while occasionally pressing on his neck as well.

The noisy ticket counter area suddenly cleared out a large space, as nobody dared to co closer, fearing trouble.

The dignified woman ignored the people around her; she was just trying to stay calm, doing first aid and dialing ergency numbers at the sa ti.

Chen Yu took a glance at the elderly man from a distance, then furrowed his brow and squeezed through the crowd.

"He's having an acute myocardial infarction, and your conventional first aid thods aren't effective," he said.

The woman looked up suddenly but didn't stop what she was doing.

"Who are you? How do you know it's not effective?" she asked.

Chen Yu pulled out his dical practitioner license, "I'm a doctor."

Upon seeing Chen Yu's license, the woman finally relaxed.

"Please, help my husband!" she implored.

Chen Yu nodded, then squatted beside the man, casually pressing down on the left side of his chest.

After finding the position of the left ventricle of the heart, he jabbed down hard with a single finger.

This was an ancient ergency technique from the dical knowledge provided by the system.

It could use such abrupt thods to temporarily break through the blockage between the atrium and the blood vessels.

The man suddenly gasped for air and then opened his eyes.

The crowd around them was stunned; Chen Yu had just used a single finger, and he seed to have cured a man on the brink of death.

The woman also stared wide-eyed, montarily at a loss.

She was from a dical background too, initially serving as the old man's personal physician, standing by his side.

This was the first ti she had ever witnessed such a thod of ergency aid.

Chen Yu didn't pay attention to the surrounding gazes and continued to rhythmically press on the man's chest area.

"Do you have any ergency nitroglycerin pills?" Chen Yu suddenly asked.

The woman didn't dare to delay, quickly taking out a bottle of pills from her backpack and passing it over.

Chen Yu poured three pills and offered them to the elderly man.

"Are you about to board a flight?" Chen Yu continued to ask.

The beautiful lady nodded, "A flight to Frankfurt in an hour."

"I suggest you bring a backup oxygen supply, otherwise, it will be very difficult for the patient to endure the flight of more than ten hours."

The beautiful lady quickly took out a small oxygen tank and oxygen equipnt from her person.

"Will this do?"

Chen Yu took the oxygen tank, weighed it, and said, "It should be enough, but you still need to be careful on the way."

The beautiful lady's face was full of gratitude as she helped the old man up.

The old man took several deep breaths and just as he was getting relieved, he took out a business card from his pocket and handed it to Chen Yu.

"Thank you, sir, for saving my life. If you ever need anything, you can call directly."

Chen Yu smiled, as for him, this was just a simple gesture, and he had never thought about asking for anything in return.

But as he was about to push the business card back, Tong Ya next to him quickly took it.

"Uncle Bai, I didn't expect to see you here!"

Bai Qiu turned his head, sowhat surprised, to look at Tong Ya.

"Tong Ya? My, you've grown so much. I rember the last ti I saw you, you were only fourteen! By the way, how has your father been lately?"

"He's doing very well, thank you for your concern, Uncle Bai."

Bai Qiu clutched his heart and took a few monts to relax so as not to get too excited.

"By the way, Tong Ya, your relationship with this gentleman..."

Tong Ya directly took Chen Yu's arm and introduced, "This is my husband, Chen Yu!"

Bai Qiu's eyes widened in surprise, "Tong Ming's son-in-law, no wonder you're so skilled, such great dical expertise! Where are you two headed?"

"We're on the sa flight as you, going to Frankfurt," Tong Ya replied politely.

"That's wonderful."

Bai Qiu swayed a little, "With my health... I'm afraid I may trouble Mr. Chen on the way."

After exchanging pleasantries, Bai Qiu led Chen Yu and Tong Ya into the airport's VIP lounge.

Bai Qiu was dragging his ailing body to Frankfurt not only for so business collaborations but also to retrieve the remains of laborers left there since the early 20th century.

It was said that his grandfather was one of the laborers in Europe during World War I.

Many laborers perished on that land, and Bai Qiu's grandfather had narrowly escaped death before returning to his holand.

Therefore, bringing back the remains of the deceased laborers beca a family maxim for the Bai Family.

Unfortunately, due to various reasons, they could only bring back at most ten sets of remains at a ti.

Bai Qiu wanted to bring back a few more before he died.

This reason imdiately filled Chen Yu with admiration.

He certainly knew about that part of history and the laborers who died on that land.

Those who are still dedicated to bringing back the laborers' remains to their holand are now few and far between.

While waiting for the plane, Chen Yu also considerately prepared a prescription to ease Bai Qiu's condition.

By the ti they boarded the plane, Bai Qiu's condition had also improved significantly.

Chen Yu also noticed that Du Bing, who had been accompanying Bai Qiu the whole ti, although at least thirty years younger than Bai Qiu, displayed unmistakable affection.

Her gaze never left Bai Qiu from beginning to end, and the concern in her eyes was sincere.
