Qin Yun walked with Pei Yan next to Su Yu.

Pei Yan glanced at him, "Want to think about sothing in The Mortal World?"
All he’s got in his head is dirty jokes, yet he sohow manages to pretend to be serious in front of others.
"Heh heh."
Su Yu turned his head, clearly not wanting to look at Pei Yan.
The guests upstairs ca down and gathered.
Wang Li ca over upon seeing Qin Yun, "Sister Yun, you’re up so early?"
"Yes, I got up at 6:30."
"Wow, that’s an hour earlier than us. You might as well stay at the hotel directly."
Wang Li felt sympathetic and suggested Qin Yun stay at the hotel, as it would be more convenient for morning gatherings. But Qin Yun shook her head without hesitation, "I’ll still stay at ho. You know, I have many bad habits, and it’s not good to disturb others at the hotel."
The always blunt Wang Li hesitated, then led Qin Yun to the back, whispering into her ear, "Sister Yun, are you talking about Jingjing?"
Qin Yun raised an eyebrow, "What are you talking about?"
Wang Li snorted, "Did you all really think I couldn’t tell? Jingjing wasn’t like this before; she used to be easy-going. But with Mr. Pei, she seems different. I saw yesterday’s Weibo too. Sister Yun, if she gets moody again, just snap back; don’t spare her any face."
This really surprised Qin Yun; this kid is simple, but her principles are sound.
"Adult matters, kids shouldn’t worry too much."
Qin Yun stroked Wang Li’s head and didn’t say much more.
At that mont, the guests had mostly gathered, and Su Yu called everyone over.
"Great, today everyone ca down within the scheduled ti."
Su Yu looked at the head count, saw everyone was present, and smiled at them, but this smile didn’t relax anyone; instead, it made everyone tense.
"Today’s filming location is Phoenix Mountain. As everyone knows, we’re exploring Phoenix Mountain Villa today. The grouping chanism today is different from yesterday; we’ll split into two teams, five people each. Yesterday’s B group mbers can be assigned to Group A today."
Su Yu dropped a bomb right at the start, shocking everyone with his words.
We’ve fild the show so far, but such a distribution has never occurred.

Su Yu glanced over B group, and Qin Yun furrowed her brow.
Sure enough, as soon as Su Yu asked, Jingjing raised her hand, "Director Su, I’ll go."
She eagerly looked at Pei Yan, wanting to team up with him.

Instead, Director Su shook his head, "Jingjing, you guys chose the relatively easy task card yesterday, so Pei Yan’s team has heavier tasks today. You weren’t feeling well yesterday, right? Better stay in B group. Anyone else volunteer to join A group? If not, I’ll just make a random assignnt."
Jingjing’s expression turned noticeably upset and visibly disappointed.
She was about to explain but was interrupted by Director Su.
"Since no one volunteered, I’ll just pick soone. You guys play rock-paper-scissors; loser joins A group."
Others groaned, "Can’t be serious, it’s all down to luck?"
"Ugh, my luck has never been great."
"Here we go, ti to test skills!"
The five mbers of B group played rock-paper-scissors, and the loser was Xiao Hu.
Xiao Hu nodded helplessly, "I told you, my luck is pretty bad, the last one to lose out of five, that’s impressive."
He waved at the people in B group and walked over to Pei Yan’s group proactively.
Xiao Hu quickly switched from initial gloom, shouting excitedly, "Teammates! Here I co."
"Welco, welco." Bai Ziyu and Li Ning grabbed Xiao Hu and embraced him, giving each other hearty pats on the shoulder.
Provoking Wang Li nearby to laugh out loud, teasing, "You were hoping to co over, weren’t you?"
Xiao Hu nodded, "Exactly!"
B group mbers exchanged glances, "Turns out we’ve always had a disloyal guy in our group."
Wang Li proudly placed her hands on her hips, still provoking B group, "Anyone else consider switching? We’ve got Mr. Pei in our group~"
"Director probably won’t allow..." soone promptly said quietly.
Su Yu glanced at Xiaoxiao, who was whispering, "My ears aren’t deaf."
Xiaoxiao: "..."
Once the assignnts were finished, Su Yu ordered everyone to get on the vehicles.
"Let’s go, set off."
One group per vehicle, Qin Yun’s group of five got on, and with over an hour’s drive, the five chatted away without feeling bored.
An hour later, the vehicle stopped at the base of Phoenix Mountain.
Qin Yun looked up, gazing at the towering peaks, "This high? Are we climbing up?"
"How could we possibly climb? Unless Director Su has lost his humanity!" Wang Li retorted quickly.
Then she continued explaining, "Sister Yun doesn’t know? It’s the highest peak in Country F, and it has many legends. But the most common one tells of an ancient phoenix that cultivated on this mountain, sacrificing itself to save people in disaster. The people venerated the mountain as Phoenix Mountain, and there’s a temple dedicated at the peak."
Qin Yun exclaid in surprise, "Temple?"
Wang Li nodded, "Yes, it’s been there for so years. I looked it up online yesterday and found out this mountain has so many stories."
Qin Yun glanced again, "That’s really impressive."
Phoenix huh.
She had brawled plenty with that guy, even stole the precious Lingzhi hidden by the phoenix and ate it. The phoenix pursued her for four or five years, eventually letting go when it was fruitless.
But it wasn’t her fault; she forgot why she stubbornly decided to steal the phoenix’s Lingzhi then.
A few minutes later, B group’s vehicle arrived, and Director Su ca along.
As Wang Li ntioned, he didn’t rcilessly make everyone hike up, but arranged for cable cars to take everyone up.
The cable car’s drop-off point was on a platform at the mountain’s peak, surrounded by towering rocks, both beautiful and steep.
