From the rearview mirror, Zheng Qian stole several worried glances at the back.
Even Yuanyuan noticed sothing was off, turned her head back a few tis, but Qin Yun seed completely oblivious, responding to Tang Zi with laughter.
The three were quite cheerful.
Pei Yan’s gaze grew heavier.
In the next mont, soone clasped his hand.
Qin Yun was still chatting with Tang Zi, her body leaning slightly forward, taking advantage of the movent to inadvertently grasp his hand, unnoticed by others.

Why did it feel exhilarating?
Pei Yan paused for a mont, but quickly reversed and held Qin Yun’s hand.

Qin Yun suddenly spoke about him, tilting her head with a aningful smile directed at him, her palm playfully teasing his, causing a tickling sensation.
Pei Yan’s mouth twitched.
"It’s an honor to be admired by Miss Qin." Pei Yan responded blandly.
Tang Zi’s curious gaze darted between the two of them several tis before she realized Qin Yun was smiling slyly, while Pei Yan’s face remained stern but his eyes had softened considerably.
These two, still putting on an act.
"We’ve arrived."
Just then, the hotel ca into view, Tang Zi was the first to step out of the car, followed by Tang Jun.
Pei Yan also exited the car ahead of Qin Yun.
As he got out, he habitually turned back, extending his hand for Qin Yun; every ti before, Qin Yun would smile and take his hand, but this ti, there weren’t just one hand in front of her.
For now, there were two.
One was Pei Yan’s, the other was Tang Zi’s.
Both were watching Qin Yun, eager to see whom she would choose to hold hands with.
Qin Yun bent over at the car door, hesitated at the sight of the two hands suddenly appearing.
What was going on???
Pei Yan’s face turned completely dark.
Tang Jun stood behind the two watching the fun unfold, schadenfreude etched on his face, contrasting with Tang Zi’s calm deanor, gently gazing at Qin Yun.
"Co on out."
He moved his hand forward, drawing closer to Qin Yun.
Qin Yun chuckled.
She turned around, took Pei Yan’s hand, and got out of the car.
"Mr. Tang, with gentlemanly manners like yours, I’m sure a lot of girls fancy you." Qin Yun teased Tang Zi with a playful smile.
Tang Zi glanced disappointedly at his hand, then replied to Qin Yun’s tease with a helpless smile, "Don’t say that, I don’t have a girlfriend, nor do I plan to start dating at the mont."
He answered so straightforwardly that it left both Qin Yun and Pei Yan montarily surprised.
Pei Yan found it odd that he wasn’t interested in a relationship, yet insisted on flirting with Qin Yun.
While Qin Yun was puzzled as to why Tang Zi, who had it all, wasn’t inclined to find a girlfriend at his age.
Could it be, he had peculiar preferences??
Her expression might have been too obvious, as Tang Jun couldn’t contain his laughter from behind.
Others watched him silently.
Tang Jun struggled to stop laughing, "Sorry, I couldn’t hold it in."
Indeed, he couldn’t hold it in; Qin Yun was just too amusing.
She actually thought Tang Zi was interested in n!!
Hahaha, one wonders if uncle and aunt will be furious enough to lash out at Tang Zi when they hear of this.
"Let’s, let’s go in first."
Tang Jun finally managed to suppress his laughter, inviting everyone inside.
The private room was already booked, providing a great ambiance for a small gathering.
Tang Zi had dined with Qin Yun before, so he had a rough idea of her appetite and ordered plenty of dishes, filling the table entirely, even instructing the waiter to prepare extra dishes in the kitchen to be served as needed.
Tang Jun was shocked.
Had Tang Zi lost his mind?
Ordering this much food, it wouldn’t be feasible even for twenty people to finish it, let alone just six of them.
"Isn’t that over the top?" Tang Jun whispered softly to Tang Zi.
Tang Zi gave him a singular look.
No matter what, Qin Yun couldn’t be left hungry.
"Miss Qin, it’s been a long day, have more to eat later."
Tang Zi turned around gently speaking to Qin Yun, "Enjoy to the fullest later, don’t hold back."
Qin Yun gracefully nodded.
Tang Jun remained sowhat bewildered, but at the table, besides him, everyone else seed accustod to it.
The dishes arrived quickly, and Tang Jun realized he indeed had overthought.
Because Qin Yun could definitely finish the entire table of food.
"This dish doesn’t taste as good as the last place did. Next ti, let’s go back there." She ntioned habitually to Pei Yan while eating.
Pei Yan seated on Qin Yun’s other side, lowered his voice, "If you don’t like it, don’t eat it. We’ll have it made at ho."
Though Tang Jun wasn’t far from Qin Yun, he still overheard parts of her soft-spoken remarks.
Could she really eat that much even if the taste wasn’t great???
Tang Jun’s chopsticks trembled slightly, then he set them down, opting to sit beside and watch Qin Yun eat instead.
She ate quickly, yet without any semblance of rudeness, instead causing others to swallow involuntarily.
Tang Jun felt that, even soone suffering from anorexia would find her irresistible.
The eating was so savory.
Completely, completely...
Tang Jun couldn’t think of any adjectives, the more he watched, the more heart-wrenching it felt.
A child growing normally wouldn’t possibly have such an appetite; Qin Yun must have endured considerable hardships during childhood.
If she really was a child of the Tang Family, if she hadn’t gotten lost, how would she have ended up like this?
Anger welled up in Tang Jun’s eyes.
Tang Zi quickly sensed it, casting a warning glance towards him, making Tang Jun inadvertently shift his gaze away from Qin Yun.
Because looking longer might have prompted an outburst right then.
The subtle interaction between the two did not escape Pei Yan’s notice.
Turning him more perplexed about what kind of trick were they playing?
Why were their actions so strange?
He accompanied Qin Yun in eating a bit, then set down his chopsticks, Zheng Qian and Yuanyuan, due to the awkward atmosphere, also couldn’t freely eat and had only a few bites.
"I’d like another one of these."
Qin Yun pointed to the only dish palatable to her, looking over at Pei Yan.
The gesture was subconscious, yet her reliant deanor brought Tang Jun and Tang Zi’s attention imdiately.
"Please, add more of this dish."
Pei Yan summoned the waiter, ordering several dishes to Qin Yun’s taste, and his assertive manner unnerved both Tang Zi and Tang Jun.
However, upon realizing they might be dating secretly, neither dared to pierce through that layer of paper.
Furthermore, they had no standing to unveil it just yet.
Because, the DNA test results weren’t out yet.
Surely, once the results are available, there won’t be such free reign for Pei Yan.
A glance exchanged between them led to ignoring what they saw.
The newly added dishes quickly arrived, Qin Yun had a bit more and then stopped, "I’m full."
"Definitely full?" Tang Jun couldn’t help but ask.
