The arrogant deanor startled Yang Leqi, who was standing nearby.
She patted her suddenly racing heart and rolled her beautiful eyes in annoyance, "What are you doing! People might think you just got rich overnight, suddenly having millions!"
"Uh..." Wang Sirui’s imposing manner instantly crumbled to dust.
He scratched his head and pretended to be calm as he said to the director, "Director, here you go, the debt we owe is cleared. There are so many caras filming, so we have plenty of witnesses and evidence."
Chen Yao ca over with a nu, "This episode is almost done recording, and after that, we’ll all head ho. Let’s order everything with the 200 plus we have, and have a grand breakfast before we go back."
Qin Yun’s eyes were already glued to the nu, waiting just for this mont.
"You guys go ahead and order." She calmly handed the nu to Yang Leqi and the others.
"Huh? Sister Yun, aren’t you ordering?" Yang Leqi turned her head in confusion and asked.
Typically, Qin Yun would order first, and her choices would usually include everything they all liked.
"Yeah, we have money now, so you can order whatever you want to eat, just as long as it doesn’t exceed 273, you’re good to go." Wang Sirui chid in.
"After you guys order, I’ll just double or triple your orders, so I don’t have to calculate the price." Qin Yun replied with a nonchalant smile.
Chen Yao was montarily at a loss for words.
Yang Leqi blinked slowly and finally said after a long pause, "Sister Yun is truly sothing else..."
In the most casual tone, she said sothing that could easily cause a heart attack.
Chen Yao ordered a bowl of beef noodles with an egg, Wang Sirui ordered a portion of fried dumplings, a basket of stead buns, and a bowl of porridge, Qin Hao ordered two at buns and pitched in with Chen Yao for a basket of stead buns, while Yang Leqi did sothing different and said she’d mooch off them. She went next door and bought a Jianbing Guozi.
She conveniently brought back one for Qin Yun, too.
After they finished ordering, Qin Yun told the owner, "I’ll take all of what they ordered, and add three more of each."
Hearing Qin Yun wanted three tis their order, the owner was dumbfounded.
"Young lady, are you sure you heard what they said?" the owner asked hesitantly.
"No worries, boss, just go with what she said. If we can’t finish, we’ll take it to-go..." Chen Yao stepped in to explain, feeling a bit guilty about the to-go part.
Because taking it to-go...? That was unlikely to happen.
"Oh, alright then." The owner, still bewildered, went inside.
"Boss, how much in total, could you calculate it first? I’ll pay up." Chen Yao, worried that the owner would think they’d dine and dash, decided to pay upfront.
"It’s a total of 248." The owner quickly calculated with a calculator.
Chen Yao paid, and before long, the owner carried several trays over, going back and forth three tis before bringing everything out.
Before leaving, the owner still couldn’t believe they’d finish it all and said, "Take your ti eating, if you need to pack it up, we’ve got containers."
Chen Yao nodded awkwardly.
The stear trays were stacked up in two piles, making them easier to carry without appearing ssy.
Apparently, there was so much food gathered there that passersby couldn’t help but glance over.
Qin Yun blocked out everything and focused only on the food. She quickly finished her Jianbing and then ate a basket of stead buns.
Although she ate quickly, her manner wasn’t coarse, but rather graceful.
The others were used to how much she ate; when she was almost finished, they discreetly replaced the empty trays with new ones.
After breakfast, Qin Hao suggested taking a stroll around town. There was a sightseeing spot nearby, supposedly quite famous. Lately, they’ve been worn out by the show’s relentless schedule; with so downti, they were nearly leaving the place and might never co back.
Primarily because he realized that over the past few days, he hadn’t done anything particularly noteworthy, and there were several instances where he failed to win audience favor. His presence was almost overshadowed by the others, which ant he might not have much screen ti for the whole episode.
That wouldn’t do at all.
So he thought it best to leave a good impression at the end and try to gain so likeability.
His suggestion imdiately received everyone’s agreent.
"If you hadn’t ntioned it, I’d almost forgotten we were recording a show. This ti, it feels much more relaxed than my previous shoots, although physically tiring, it’s been quite satisfying," Yang Leqi remarked.
"You an you’ve been satisfied with the food! Except for Sister Yun, you’re the one who eats the most! Aren’t you afraid you’ll weigh yourself later and find you’ve gained seven or eight pounds?" Wang Sirui rcilessly teased.
"Wang Sirui! You’re asking for it!" Yang Leqi seethed with anger.
"Perfect timing, let’s buy so local specialties and souvenirs to make this trip worthwhile." Chen Yao suggested.
Qin Hao originally wanted to create so buzz for himself, but his spotlight was stolen again by Yang Leqi and Wang Sirui.
Feeling frustrated, he swallowed his words.
The group saw things at the market unique to the area. Qin Yun spotted a shop with a handcrafted Pixiu, which made her think of Pei Yan.
She approached the owner to ask, "How much for this Pixiu?"
The owner smiled and replied instantly, "You have a good eye! This Pixiu is hand-carved and costs 188 yuan."
"Since you have a Pixiu, why don’t you have a Taotie?" Qin Yun was imdiately unhappy and asked.
"Well, Pixiu is an auspicious beast that turns misfortune into blessings. Wearing Pixiu not only attracts wealth but also brings good luck, advancing one’s career. That’s why everyone naturally prefers Pixiu," the owner paused and explained.
Qin Yun took it to heart, deciding in her mind that she’d beco a Taotie bringing good luck to people!
What good is that miserly Pixiu, who’s all take and no give?
As the last cute Taotie in the world, of course she’d be more beloved than that stingy creature.
This indirectly set her on the path of making gold-mouthed promises in the future.
"Owner, can you carve a Taotie?" Qin Yun pondered for a while before adding, "Make it two—one large for ho and one wearable."
The owner hesitated montarily before responding, "It’s possible, but carving the larger one will take so ti."
"I’m not in a hurry. I’ll give you an address; once it’s done, you can ship it there." Qin Yun offered, asking for paper and pen from the owner to write down the address from mory and handed it over, "Just send it here once they’re ready. How much for both? I want them made from Zitan wood."
"If it’s Zitan wood, you can have both for 2888, for a lucky number, wishing you a thriving career and great fortune." The owner squinted with a grin, offering blessings offhandedly.
"Alright."
As soon as Qin Yun agreed, she suddenly rembered she was in the middle of a reality show and currently broke, and she froze completely.
