The dim room was filled with the heavy scent of disinfectant, the pungent odor perating every corner. The surroundings were eerily silent, devoid of any sound.

The flickering fluorescent light cast a faint glow, trembling precariously in the darkness as if it might extinguish at any mont.

Suddenly—*splash*.

Water erupted in the pool, shattering the stillness.

A woman’s soft laughter echoed through the room.

"Cold?"

The woman by the poolside wore a sexy backless swimsuit, lazily perched on the edge. Her slender waist seed almost too delicate to hold, her raven-black hair loosely tied up, revealing a swan-like neck. A stray lock of hair fell carelessly, adding to her languid charm.

Bo Jingmo stood in the pool, his gaze darkening as he stared at her alluring smile.

"Li..."

He moved closer, about to speak, when sothing brushed lightly against his waist. His body stiffened instantly.

Looking down, he saw the woman’s long, fair legs swaying gently in the water. Her slender ankles were exquisite, like finely crafted art, her toes grazing his waist with deliberate subtlety—an unmistakable tease.

His Adam’s apple bobbed as he reached out and caught her mischievous ankle.

Yu Li blinked innocently, feigning confusion, her voice laced with playful amusent.

"Cat got your tongue, Referee Bo? I’m waiting for your answer before I get in."

"Cold."

His voice was hoarse as he waded closer, his large hand sliding up from her ankle. Her skin was smooth as tender tofu, irresistibly soft to the touch.

Bo Jingmo lowered his head, pressing a kiss to her milky thigh before wrapping her leg around his waist.

"Want to co down, Li Li? Hold , and you won’t feel cold."

Yu Li chuckled and extended her hand as if granting him a favor.

He imdiately understood, bending to let her loop her arms around his neck as he carried her deeper into the pool.

The icy water enveloped them, but his scorching chest pressed firmly against her. Yu Li rested lazily against his shoulder, sighing contentedly.

Bo Jingmo hadn’t lied—holding him in the water *was* comfortable, except for his wandering hands.

And strangely, even though this version of Bo Jingmo in the instance was supposed to be dead, his body felt just like a living person’s.

Yu Li didn’t dwell on it. It had been a while since she’d had a quiet mont with him, and her earlier irritation gradually faded.

She humd softly, lifting a wet hand to caress his face, her tone finally returning to normal. "I forgive you."

Bo Jingmo caught her wrist, pressing a kiss to it. "Thank you, wife."

Yu Li idly trailed her fingers through the water before suddenly recalling his earlier words. She tilted her head.

"You said you were handling that *yao ghost*. How?"

Bo Jingmo obediently answered, "I had Yu Jiao and the others kill it for ."

"Yu Jiao?"

Hearing the na, Yu Li narrowed her eyes, then raised a brow. "Did you give them clues?"

Logically, it was only the first day—they shouldn’t have noticed anything unusual so quickly.

Bo Jingmo nodded, then smiled.

"I just acted according to my role. They’ll figure it out themselves."

Yu Li pondered before asking, "So your mission is to kill all the guests?"

Bo Jingmo hesitated, then gave a quiet "Mn."

Seeing this, Yu Li blinked, suddenly nuzzling his cheek with a pitiful sigh.

"Ah, I’m so unlucky. My own husband’s going to kill again. Guess I’ll have to spend points to revive."

Bo Jingmo chuckled, gently gripping the nape of her neck as he kissed her. "I won’t kill you. After helping you deal with the others, I’ll let you win."

But Yu Li slowly shook her head. "No."

She leaned closer, her breath warm against his skin. Water droplets slid down her cheeks, clinging to her lashes like tiny crystals. Strands of damp hair clung to her face, accentuating her snow-like complexion.

Cupping his face, she smiled softly. "I won’t let you die, Bo Jingmo."

Bo Jingmo froze, his heart as if struck by a cotton-wrapped mallet. Emotions surged in his eyes, his lips trembling. "Li Li..."

Yu Li didn’t respond, simply looping her arms around his neck and kissing him.

He imdiately took control, pressing her against the pool’s edge.

The water rippled gently, tiny waves lapping at the sides, mingling with faint, breathless sounds.

Downstairs, in the dimly lit pool, the two embraced intimately.

But upstairs, soone tossed and turned, unable to sleep.

Yu Jiao lay in bed, replaying the evening’s events in her mind. Her mood was complicated, and she sighed silently.

Suddenly, a tentative voice broke the silence.

"Still awake?"

She paused, turning her head in the darkness. "Sorry, did I wake you?"

Tian Jianmu chuckled. "No, I couldn’t sleep either."

After a beat of silence, he spoke again. "Jiang Xi talked to . You don’t believe what they said?"

The implication was clear.

Yu Jiao pressed the back of her hand to her eyes, replying flatly, "Do *you*?"

"Co on, they’re my teammates—of course I believe them." Tian Jianmu laughed. "Besides, you know their skills. Makes look useless as a senior."

So he also believed Bo Jingmo was the villain.

Yu Jiao opened her eyes, smirking ambiguously.

"Don’t you think it’s strange? He *knew* my skill could detect lies, yet he deliberately answered my question."

Tian Jianmu sighed. "Is that so…"

"But even so, he must have so connection to the monster. Killing him wouldn’t hurt us."

Yu Jiao abruptly turned her head, narrowing her eyes in the dark.

"Are you suggesting… we act without concrete evidence?"

Tian Jianmu said, "I just want to eliminate potential threats."

"What about the storyline? The audience? You’re seriously scared of an interdiate-level player?"

"..." Tian Jianmu stared at the ceiling. "*You* aren’t scared of an interdiate player with *Black Moon*, huh?"

Yu Jiao: "..."

Tian Jianmu adjusted the blanket, his voice calm. "Relax, I won’t act imdiately. Like you said, if Bo Jingmo deliberately left clues for you, he might be trying to convey sothing."

"So unless he shows clear intent to kill, I won’t move."

Yu Jiao turned away silently.

*But what if… the one with killing intent is soone else?*
