As soon as the words were spoken, everyone's gaze fell upon Guangran.

Cen Xiu hesitated before speaking: "Um... Yu Li, since we've gotten quite familiar now, can I ask you a question?"

Yu Li was texting Mu Chengsi when she lazily raised her eyes. "Ask."

Cen Xiu took a deep breath and went straight to the point: "Are you a player?"

His voice wasn't particularly loud, but it reached everyone's ears perfectly. In an instant, all surrounding eyes turned towards them.

Yu Li's expression remained unchanged as she finished typing her ssage before putting down her phone. She looked at Cen Xiu with an enigmatic smile. "A player?"

For so reason, Cen Xiu felt uneasy under her gaze. He swallowed hard. "Well... I felt we're close enough now, so I thought I'd ask."

Before Yu Li could answer, a man's voice ca from behind. "Lili."

She turned to see a man in a tailored suit standing out conspicuously among the crowd with his aristocratic bearing. The lighting cast shadows across his chiseled features, accentuating his sharp jawline.

Yu Li's gaze lingered on his suit for a few seconds before looking away. Bo Jingmo's arrival instantly heightened the tension in the room like a rubber band stretched to its limit.

Tian Jianmu narrowed his eyes as he studied this legendary dangerous player while holding his glass. But the man didn't even glance their way, simply walking to Yu Li's side and whispering, "It's all arranged. Shall we go back?"

Yu Li nodded. "Let's go. There's nothing left to do here."

She crouched down and called out to Le Yi and Xiao Jingqu. "Le Yi, Xiao Jingqu, can you walk? I'll take you to a hotel, okay?"

Fortunately, the two on the sofa weren't completely blackout drunk. They opened their bleary eyes at the sound of her voice. "Yu Li?"

"Yes, it's ," Yu Li patiently coaxed. "I'll take you to a hotel. It's too late to return to the dorm now. Chengsi is waiting for you at the hotel too."

The two drunkards blinked before clumsily rising from the sofa. "O-okay."

They staggered unsteadily, but fortunately attendants ca to help support them. Yu Li tipped them to assist in getting the girls to the car.

Seeing them about to leave, Cen Xiu instinctively called out, "Uh, Yu Li..."

She hadn't answered his question yet.

Yu Li turned back, her gaze sweeping across the group before settling on Tian Jianmu. A faint smile curved her lips. "The fact that you can ask that question ans you already know the answer, don't you?"

Tian Jianmu set down his glass. "May I boldly ask—"

Before he could finish, Yu Li gently interrupted with a serene expression. "No, you may not. I don't want to answer any of your questions."

She took Bo Jingmo's hand and gave Cen Xiu a faint smile under his stunned gaze. "Also, please tell Guangran for —if she's afraid of death, she shouldn't participate in dungeons anymore."

Cen Xiu sat dumbfounded, only one thought running through his mind: She really did hear everything.

Tian Jianmu, however, stroked his chin as he watched the departing couple. "...They don't seem like easy targets."

Especially that woman—she could even conceal her aura. That wasn't sothing an ordinary interdiate player could do. Yet she'd been mingling with them all this ti without anyone noticing anything unusual.

What was her goal?

...

After delivering Le Yi and Xiao Jingqu to the hotel where Mu Chengsi was already waiting at the entrance, the latter gasped at seeing how drunk they were. "They drank this much?"

Yu Li smiled helplessly. "Warnings were useless."

After settling the two intoxicated girls, Yu Li and Bo Jingmo went to their adjacent room to freshen up.

Erging from her shower with damp hair wrapped in a towel, Yu Li found Bo Jingmo working on his laptop on the sofa. Hearing her, he set it aside and beckoned. "Lili, let dry your hair for you."

The hum of the hairdryer filled the room as the man lowered his eyes tenderly, his slender fingers combing gently through her soft locks with slow, ticulous care. Warm air blew across her fair neck as a faint fragrance perated the air.

Sitting on the sofa, Yu Li suddenly rembered sothing. "I t Yu Jiao today. She already knows I'm a mber of Team X, but probably doesn't know I'm your girlfriend yet."

Bo Jingmo showed no reaction, simply replying gently, "Alright, you handle it as you see fit."

Yu Li tilted her head back thoughtfully. "That advanced player today was unexpected though. I originally planned to give them a surprise in the dungeon—didn't think they'd find out so soon."

Bo Jingmo chuckled. After confirming her hair was sufficiently dry, he turned off the dryer, pulled her into his arms, and kissed the top of her head. "Then let them sweat it out a few more days."

At such ruthless words, Yu Li raised an eyebrow and teased while caressing his face, "Director Bo, so heartless. Weren't Jiang Xi and Hou Liang your forr teammates?"

Bo Jingmo caught her wrist and kissed it, his eyes curving. "As the villain, shouldn't I be ruthless towards the protagonists?"

Yu Li burst out laughing. "Fair point!"

Perched on his lap, she played with his tie. "How was the banquet? Did you see Bai Shaodong?"

Bo Jingmo let her fiddle while keeping an arm around her waist. "I did. Sa as ever. Probably noticed I've changed and deliberately said things to try making lose composure."

But Bai Shaodong miscalculated—he no longer cared about those words.

Yu Li blinked before wrapping her arms around Bo Jingmo's neck. "Let guess... did he say you seem more normal now?"

The man froze montarily before laughing softly and nuzzling her nose affectionately. "My wife guessed right."

But then again, that was all Bai Shaodong had left.

At the banquet, after everyone was seated:

Bai Shaodong sat cross-legged on the sofa, coldly eyeing Bo Jingmo with undisguised disdain as he sneered, "Hmph, your condition has improved quite well these years. You actually seem normal now."

Bo Hui imdiately protested, "Dad! How could you say that!"

Madam Bai also grasped his arm worriedly. "Shaodong, we agreed—"

Yet Bo Jingmo rely smiled faintly. "Is that so? You, however, remain completely unchanged."

Still the sa old bluster.
