After Transmigrating, The Fat Wife Made A Comeback! Chapter 2422: Letting Go
Chapter 2422: Letting Go
“How can there be so many coincidences at the sa ti? Stop slandering Qian’e! I know that Qian’e is single now so there are people who want to try and get a share of her money. There are people who can’t wait to skin her alive! However, you have to take a good look at yourself first! Don’t go too far!” Qiao i scolded.
Zhao Zhi did not dare to argue with Qiao i. She thought about giving up, but when she looked down and saw how badly Huang Xuan had been beaten up, she shouted in anger, “But my son has been beaten up! You have to compensate us for the dical fees!”
“Sure. Da Zhuang, get soone to work out the dical fees with her. At the sa ti, she has to compensate us for the disruption in our work schedule, as well as compensate us for the dical fees of our workers who are injured during the fight. Make sure everything is properly accounted for,” Qiao i said.
“Alright.” With that, Da Zhuang left with Zhao Zhi and Huang Xuan. All the factory workers sensibly dispersed and went back to work.
Qiao i led Qian’e back to the office. After what Zhao Zhi did, Qian’e did not have much strength left. She felt as if all her energy had been sucked out of her.
“Why don’t you consider marrying Da Zhuang? Once you do that, no one will bother you anymore. Besides, Da Zhuang is really a very nice person,” Qiao i said tentatively.
“I… but I can’t hold him back. I don’t have my uterus anymore. I can’t be the reason why he doesn’t have children!” Qian’e said, looking troubled.
“I thought Da Zhuang doesn’t care about this?” Qiao i said.
“Then… then are we able to sleep together? Since I don’t even have a uterus anymore…” Qian’e whispered.
In this era, societal practices were still very feudal and people did not have much common knowledge. No one talked about such things in private and parents did not teach their kids about sex education. It was quite normal that Qian’e was so ignorant about this topic.
Qiao i patiently explained the situation to Qian’e, but Qian’e still could not quite understand. In the end, Qiao i had to draw a diagram of the female productive organs and give Qian’e a proper biology lesson. After that, Qian’e finally had an understanding of what was going on.
“I see…” Qian’e said.
Qiao i thought for a long ti before she said, “Actually, it’s not impossible for you to have your own child.”
“What do you an? I don’t even have a uterus anymore. How can I have my own child?” Qian’e asked Qiao i in shock.
After a couple of decades, technology would beco very advanced. Qian’e had only removed her uterus, not her ovaries. She could freeze her eggs first and then wait for technology to catch up to the point where it was possible to have test-tube babies. Even though Qian’e did not have a uterus anymore, doctors might eventually be able to implant an artificial one into her body. As long as technology kept improving, that day would co.
Qiao i had handled a similar dical lawsuit in her other life and understood most of the principles behind it. As Qian’e listened to what Qiao i said, the more excited she beca and her eyes were filled with hope.
The truth was that Qian’e had always hoped to have a child of her own. When she was young, she was insensible and had done many irreparable things. Hearing what Qiao i said, she had regained hope that she could beco a normal person again! Just thinking about it made her excited. This might be a reward from the heavens for being able to survive all the tribulations in her life.
Qian’e looked at the diagram which Qiao i drew and wept silently. Qiao i sighed and pushed open the door to walk out of the office. She had only taken a few steps when she heard heart-wrenching wails coming out of the office. Qiao i understood that these tears contained all the grievances and despair that Qian’e had accumulated over the years. She really needed to vent it all out.
Da Zhuang returned after dealing with the matters at the police station and heard Qian’e wailing loudly. He was shocked and asked Qiao i, “What’s wrong with Qian’e? Is it because she still can’t accept what happened the other day?”
“Allow her to let off so steam. Co with and don’t disturb her,” Qiao i said.
Da Zhuang drove Qiao i ho. He was distracted the entire journey and was constantly worried that Qian’e would take things too hard.
“When do you intend to hold the wedding?” Qiao i suddenly asked.
“What? Whose wedding? Is soone getting married?” Da Zhuang asked curiously.
“Your wedding with Qian’e,” Qiao i said.
Da Zhuang slamd on the brakes so hard that Qiao i almost flew out. Da Zhuang quickly pulled over at the side of the road and looked back at Qiao i in disbelief, asking, “Is Qian’e agreeable to the idea?”
“I’m guessing it’s close to the mark. Think about the kind of wedding you want and where the two of you will stay after getting married,” Qiao i said as she held back her laughter.
Da Zhuang flapped his arms excitedly and said agitatedly, “I… I don’t know! Whatever Qian’e says! She has the final say! I’ll do whatever she wants!”
Qiao i nodded in satisfaction. She liked Da Zhuang’s thinking process. Qian’e was finally going to get the happiness she deserved. Along the way ho, Da Zhuang humd a tune. It was as if he wanted the whole world to know that he was in a good mood.
Qian’e had finally made peace with herself. Previously, she had rejected Da Zhuang ti and ti again because she could not have children with him and did not want to hold him back. Now that she could finally let go of the weight in her heart, she was definitely willing to marry him.
