After Xia Yang had his fill of milk, Xia Zhe held Qiao i’s hand and led her back to the bedroom. She had been really tired out during this period of ti and needed a good rest.

The next morning, Xia Zhe woke up quietly and left the house. Qiao i continued to sleep until the afternoon. Everyone was already used to this. When she opened her eyes, she saw Xia Yang sleeping obediently beside her.

Feng Hua had no other choice. For now, Xia Yang only recognized Qiao i. If anyone else tried to carry him, he would cry. There was nothing they could do.

“Where’s Xia Zhe?” Qiao i called out for Feng Hua to co into the room and asked while rubbing her eyes.

“He went out early in the morning and said that he would be back for dinner tonight,” Feng Hua said.

Qiao i nodded in acknowledgent. Qiao i never asked about Xia Zhe’s matters. If it had anything to do with her, he would take the initiative to tell her when he returned. It was useless for her to worry too much.

“Sister Feng, I want to discuss an issue with you,” Qiao i said as she drank so warm water.

“Sure, sure,” Feng Hua said imdiately.

Qiao i stopped to think for a long ti before saying, “You’ve worked for for a long ti and you’re like part of the family. I can also tell that you’re taking really good care of us. I’ve realized recently that there are too many things to do at ho. Now that there is one more child in the family, I want to ask you if you’re willing to let hire another person to help take care of us.”

Feng Hua felt extrely nervous just now. She was worried that Qiao i wanted to fire her. She did not really care about how much she was paid. By now, she really could not bear to leave these four children. She had been taking care of them from the mont they were born. During this ti, she treated them like her own biological grandchildren and already had deep feelings for them.

“Of course! You can do whatever you want! Just… just don’t fire . I really can’t bear to part with the children,” Feng Hua said.

“Why will I fire you! I’m still hoping that you will stay here for the rest of your life! When you’re old, I’ll get the children to take care of you,” Qiao i said with a smile.

“No way!” Feng Hua said in surprise.

“Why not! You are the one who has brought them up. Although I’m their mother, I don’t even spend so much ti with them. I should be thanking you. The children have all been brought up very well,” Qiao i said gratefully.

Tears welled up in Feng Hua’s eyes. She had worked as a helper to many different families throughout her life and Qiao i was the first client who was so nice to her. She was more than willing to work hard here for the rest of her life!

“Since you’re alright with the idea, then I’ll go ahead and hire another person. You just need to take care of the children. The new person will do the cleaning and cooking every day,” Qiao i said.
