They wondered if anyone had ever seen a bed made of gold?

Yang Jiao’s entire bed was made of gold. It was two ters long and three ters wide and took up the most space in the bedroom. Even the supporting pillars next to the bed were made of gold. This bed probably weighed a ton.

The entire room was decorated with gold and gemstones. Even the picture fras on the wall were made of gold and looked very old-fashioned. Qiao i suspected that Yang Jiao’s slippers were also made of gold.

There was an old saying, “If one studies hard, one will be able to get a charming bride and a house of gold.” At this mont, Qiao i was staring at the proverbial house of gold without needing to study hard.

“Goodness… My poor eyes…” Qiao i rubbed her eyes in discomfort.

“Wait for here. I’ll go in and take a look.” With that, Xia Zhe stepped into the “house of gold”.

Qiao i continued to use her superpower to check the structure of the room.

This room was different from the other rooms. There were no hidden

compartnts and no secret room, not even a safe.

“How can this be?” Qiao i muttered to herself.

“What’s wrong?” Xia Zhe asked.

“There doesn’t seem to be anything special about this room. It’s just a bedroom and nothing else,” Qiao i said in surprise.

Xia Zhe looked around. There was indeed nothing which looked to be related to the list. There was not even a piece of paper in the entire room. He turned around and left the room dejectedly.

Just as the door was about to close, Qiao i suddenly saw a golden vase on Yang Jiao’s windowsill. By right, items like vases and flower pots were displayed in pairs. Why would Yang Jiao place one single golden vase on the windowsill?

“Wait! Look there and see if there’s anything strange!” Qiao i said as she pointed at the windowsill.

Xia Zhe imdiately ran over to pick up the vase. It was densely covered with words that were carved on it. It looked to be Buddhist scriptures engraved on the outer wall of the vase. It did not look like anything special, but then he discovered that the words on the inner wall of the vase were not Buddhist scriptures! It was the list that he was looking for!

“Bingo! This is what I’m looking for! 1 know you’ll definitely be able to find it!” Xia Zhe said excitedly as he picked Qiao i up.

“Let’s go now! Dawn is breaking soon. We have to leave quickly,” Qiao i said with a smile.

Before Qiao i left, she turned around to look at Yang Jiao’s room reluctantly. There was not only gold kept inside, but also many oil paintings by famous artists, as well as all kinds of gemstones and jade. If these things were all burned down, what a huge loss it would be…

Xia Zhe seed to understand how sad Qiao i was. He looked at the ti and said, “There are still 20 minutes before dawn breaks. I can give you so ti to move things out.”

“Really?” Qiao i asked as she looked at Xia Zhe expectantly.

“Yes, just like those things hidden under our house,” Xia Zhe whispered softly as a reminder.

Downstairs, Da Nan and the others were frantically splashing gasoline around the house. Qiao i rushed upstairs, avoiding any booby traps and started throwing things out of the window. In a spot where no one could see, a bunch of vines and weeds caught and grabbed all the things which Qiao i threw down. The mont those things touched the ground, they disappeared.

In less than 20 minutes, Qiao i had already emptied more than half the entire house. Although Qiao i really wanted to take Yang Jiao’s golden bed, even 30 n could not lift this huge thing, so Qiao i could only give up the idea.

When it was ti, Da Nan led Qiao i back to the car. Xia Zhe slowly lit a cigarette and then threw the lighter into the house. There was a loud boom and the entire villa was imdiately engulfed in a sea of fire as Xia Zhe and his team drove away quickly.

Finally, everything was settled. On the way ho, Qiao i saw the blood on the hem of her dress. She suddenly recalled what she had done when she kidnapped Yang Jiu just now. At that ti, her mind was filled with only thoughts of saving Xia Zhe. She did not even think about the price she had to pay for doing those things. At that mont, as long as she could save Xia Zhe, she would do anything.

Now that Xia Zhe was sitting safely beside her, she began to recall all the things that happened back then and could not help but tremble. Xia Zhe imdiately hugged Qiao i and asked, “What’s wrong? Do you feel cold?” “I… I think I killed so people…” Qiao i repeated as she stared blankly at her hands.

Xia Zhe hugged Qiao i tightly. He held her hands and said, “You must be referring to those people with Yang Jiu. Those people are all heinous bad guys. What you did was not wrong. I’m proud of you..”
