Chapter 12: Ye Yuyou seeking Forgiveness

“Heh~” Shen Yi’an let out a soft laugh, effortlessly dodging every incoming attack while delivering swift counterstrikes.

Perhaps due to the combat experience from two lifetis, she felt these people were pathetically weak.

In no ti, everyone except Shen Yi’an was lying on the ground, groaning in pain.

anwhile, the Jiuyou Association’s leader, Jiu Ye, was still imrsed in rock music, unable to pull himself out.

Shen Yi’an sheathed her black blade and walked to a door marked No Entry for Unauthorized Personnel, kicking it open with a single strike.

The sandalwood door crashed into the sound equipnt, and the rock music ca to an abrupt stop.

Jiu Ye frowned, his gaze turning icy.

Soone dared to wreck his place? Quite bold.

“You’re courting death!” Jiu Ye stood up, killing intent filling his eyes as he turned around.

But the mont he saw Shen Yi’an, he was surprised.

It was actually a woman. Seems like he’d need to recruit more capable subordinates in the future.

“Who are you? From Nishang?”

A woman with such an overwhelming presence—Jiu Ye could only think of that organization known for its high proportion of female mbers.

“Enough talk.” Shen Yi’an had no patience for nonsense. With long strides, she instantly closed the distance and threw a punch.

Jiu Ye hurriedly dodged, his heart jolting—he had almost failed to react to that speed.

“Not bad,” Jiu Ye said, tearing off his shirt to reveal a broad, muscular fra.

Bulging muscles and veins stood out as adrenaline surged through his body.

This woman gave him a sense of danger—one that demanded he go all out.

Even when facing leaders of other organizations, he had never felt this way.

He threw a heavy punch toward Shen Yi’an’s slender figure.

It was a force capable of killing a bull—yet Shen Yi’an caught it with one hand.

“Didn’t eat enough?”

Shen Yi’an mocked him, not expecting the Jiuyou leader of this life to be so weak.

Or perhaps… she herself was far stronger than before.

Jiu Ye’s expression changed drastically. How was this possible? Why was his strength inferior to a woman so much smaller than him?

In that brief mont of distraction, Jiu Ye’s vision went dark, and his body lost balance.

He staggered, barely steadying himself as he coughed up blood, clutching his chest where a fresh fist imprint had ford.

Since when had soone this terrifying appeared in Yandu? Her strength likely far surpassed his own.

Since when had soone this terrifying appeared in Yandu? Her strength likely far surpassed his.

“I admit defeat. Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you.”

Hearing this, Shen Yi’an withdrew her killing intent and calmly sat on the sofa. She glanced at the docunts on the table and picked them up.

“This is the person you were ordered to kill?”

She turned the file toward Jiu Ye. He hesitated, then cautiously asked, “You know him well?”

“Not really. Just…” Shen Yi’an casually tossed the file back onto the table, crossed her legs, and shot him a chilling look. “Shen Yi’an is not soone you can touch.”

Jiu Ye swallowed hard. Not familiar? That look alone could kill.

Thinking about it, he almost wanted to skin Wang Dachui alive for dragging him into this ss.

“From now on, Shen Yi’an is my boss,” Jiu Ye said through gritted teeth.

He didn’t want to beco soone else’s underling so easily—but he simply couldn’t beat her.

“Heh.” Receiving the answer, Shen Yi’an slowly stood up. She picked up the alcohol-soaked file, tore it into pieces, and scattered them into the air. “Let’s pretend nothing happened today. As for the trash on the ground, I’ll leave it to you to clean up.”

Jiu Ye didn’t dare say a word of refusal. Even though he felt utterly humiliated, the weak had no right to speak—loss was loss, whether he accepted it or not.

“Boss, Jiuyou is yours now. Command it as you wish.”

“Forget it. Just keep your n in check. Goodbye.”

Shen Yi’an waved her hand. She was already tired of being in a position of authority.

In her previous life, she had founded an organization called “Anti-Entropy.” In just half a year, she had unified the five major associations under her command and even established cooperation with the Lighthouse.

Titles like Queen, Boss, Sister An, Master—even “Mom”—she had grown sick of hearing them all.

Jiu Ye watched Shen Yi’an’s departing figure, montarily lost in thought.

That queen-like aura—it felt innate. Noble, yet carrying a sense of distance that kept others away.

For a brief mont, he almost felt his heart stir. But he was a sigma man—his only love was his mother.

Shen Yi’an stepped out of the underground club and glanced at Wang Dachui, whose life had been claid by the air-conditioning unit outside, his body already covered with rats. She gave a faint smile.

Back when she was still a man, Wang Dachui had often sent people to trouble her. This ridiculous and ugly way of dying suited him perfectly.

….

….

Returning ho, Shen Yi’an took off her high-heeled leather boots and placed them on the shoe rack—only to notice an extra pair of black leather shoes.

From the kitchen ca a fragrant aroma, along with the sound of sothing simring.

Shen Yi’an rubbed her forehead and sighed. When she entered the kitchen and found no one there, she headed straight toward the bedroom door.

She hesitated for a mont with her hand on the doorknob, then slowly turned it.

As the door opened, a sweet scent rushed toward her. Looking at the delicate figure rising in the dim light, Shen Yi’an turned on the lights and said coldly, “Ye Yuyou, don’t go too far.”

“An’an, you’re back~” Ye Yuyou excitedly threw off the blanket, got up, and eagerly rushed toward Shen Yi’an. “An’an, I didn’t an to upset you in the ga—can you forgive ?”

“….” Shen Yi’an wanted to push Ye Yuyou away, but found herself unable to do so.

“Ye Yuyou, are you testing my limits?” Shen Yi’an said coldly.

Hearing this, Ye Yuyou slowly loosened her hold. Looking at Shen Yi’an with deep affection, she said softly, “I originally wanted to warm your bed as compensation, but… the scent you left behind slls so nice~”

“Ye Yuyou!” Shen Yi’an drew out her black blade from the system space, pointing the edge directly at Ye Yuyou’s sternum.

“Do you really think I wouldn’t go through with it?”

Facing the blade so close at hand, Ye Yuyou smiled gently and slowly leaned closer.

“If An’an wants dead, I’m willing~”

Shen Yi’an’s pupils shrank suddenly. She withdrew the blade and turned away.

Though her expression remained calm, her emotions wavered.

At that mont, her heart ached. As expected… forgetting was not so easy.

Watching Shen Yi’an’s retreating figure, warmth filled Ye Yuyou’s heart. An’an had felt sorry for her—she was so happy!

After tending to her wound, Ye Yuyou put on light clothing and walked to the living room. Sitting beside Shen Yi’an, she spoke in a soft, sweet tone, “An’an~ can I stay one more night~?”

“Put your clothes on properly,” Shen Yi’an said with her eyes closed.

“Okay~” Ye Yuyou obediently returned to the room, got dressed, and ca back to sit on the sofa.

“An’an, I’m dressed~”

“Then leave,” Shen Yi’an said calmly.

Hearing this, Ye Yuyou’s expression dimd. Still, she felt she shouldn’t be too greedy—she had to take things step by step if she wanted An’an to gradually forgive her.

“An’an~ then I’m leaving. Make sure you eat well~” Ye Yuyou said, reaching out to touch Shen Yi’an’s cool face—but her hand was avoided.
