Chapter 124: Chapter 124 Break fail

After filming the night scene, Renea went back to the hotel to change her clothes and drove to the city.

The crew wasn’t that far from the city, but it took two hours to get there by car.

Not long after getting into the car, her phone rang. Looking at the number, Renea saw that it was Stella.

Every day around seven thirty, Stella’s greeting call would arrive on ti. She didn’t want to be so annoying, but she couldn’t help but to oppressed by her own uncle’s eyes.

"Renea, what’s going on? Have you gotten out of the set?"

"I am in the car."

Stella was instantly unsettled: "Didn’t you say last night that today you have to shoot a night scene? So, why are you in the car?"

"I have just finished my scene and coming back because I had a little business to take care of."

"You are driving by yourself?"

"Yes, I felt easier in this way."

She was a person who didn’t like to bother others by nature and would try to do as much as she could on her own.

"You have just finished a night scene and now you are driving by yourself. Do you know how dangerous it can be for you? Why don’t you let the driver give you a ride." Stella snapped.

Such a concern made the corner of Renea’s mouth hook up in a warm smile, "It’s fine, it’s just two hours. I will be there in a while."

"Then you should drive with so care, and if you get sleepy, pull over to the side of the road to rest for a while." Stella admonished.

"Uh!" Renea had just finished replying when her brows furrowed. Her foot went to the brakes a few tis, but there was no response.

Stella also sensed that sothing was wrong with the phone and asked, "Renea, what’s wrong?"

"The brakes seem to have failed," Renea said calmly.

"What? The brakes failed?" Stella’s scream had just fallen when Aron’s voice ca from the phone, "Renea, where are you now?"

Renea looked at the road sign in front of her and said, "J.T Road."

"J.T Road, there is ......" Stella was so worried that she was not even able to finish her sentence.

Aron’s brows knitted tightly, his expression was grave, and he instructed, "Renea, try to reduce the speed of the car slowly, and see if you can brake the car. If you can’t, then put it in the lowest gear, and let the car slowly move forward on its own."

"Okay!" Renea followed what Aron said put the gear to the lowest gear and tried to step on the brakes, however, the brakes still didn’t respond.

This side Aron took the phone and didn’t hang up. He took out his cell phone, called Marshall, and drove away in a dusty car.

Tick! Tick! Tick!

The horn behind her continued to sound, urging Renea’s car in front to hurry up.

"Renea, what’s the situation?"

Aron’s voice ca from the phone. Renea hooked the corner of her mouth and said with a playful tone, "Soone doesn’t seem to want

to drive so slowly."

"Ignore him. I will be there in ten minutes." Aron said as he once again accelerated to the speed of the car.

"Uh-huh!" Renea’s heart ward, and the smile at the corner of her mouth beca warm.

The car behind saw that Renea didn’t speed up and crashed directly into her car.

The heavy impact caused Renea’s car to lurch forward several ters, and because there were no brakes, the car was forced to pick up speed.

However, the car behind her didn’t stop and crashed into her car again.

Through the cell phone, Aron heard the violent crash and asked, "Renea, how are you doing?"

But, there was no response from the other side.

Aron felt that his heart was in his throat. Until now, there had never been a mont in his life when he had been as worried about soone as he was now.

"Renea, Renea!" He called her so many tis, and every second made him nervous, and worried.

"Aron, I’m fine."

Renea’s voice ca, and Aron breathed a sigh of relief.

"Aron, I need to know the road conditions of the road ahead."

This was the first ti that she had traveled this road. The last ti she had gone back, the driver had taken a different road, which she had been told was under construction.

Driving on the road you are not being familiar with is the sa as driving blind when the brakes fail.

"Five hundred ters after there a Frosty Road, where there is a sharp bend, and after the bend it’s downhill with a 35% gradient."

This stretch of road is very difficult to navigate and has a particularly large number of blind spots that often lead to car accidents.

After the other road was repaired, this road was rarely traveled, and it was not usually chosen for driving except under special circumstances.

The corner of Renea’s mouth hooked up in a sneer, ’It seed that soone deliberately arranged this play today.’

Boom!

The car behind her crashed into her car again, knocking Renea’s entire body forward. If she hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt, she is afraid the whole person would have flown out.

"Renea, can you hold out for ten minutes?" Aron asked worriedly.

"Yes, Aron, I’ll wait for you to co." After saying that, Renea turned off the microphone on her side. Now she could hear Aron, but Aron couldn’t hear her side.

Renea looked through the rearview mirror. As the car behind her prepared to crash into her car again, she slamd her foot on the gas and threw the car behind her off.

The car behind saw Renea speeding up and also sped up to catch up.

The usual ten-minute journey took five minutes under Renea’s acceleration to reach the south side of the city.
