Chapter 333: Chapter 333: Curse Again, and You Won’t Walk Out Standing
As Lan Yu scrolled to the end of the comnts, she couldn’t help but advise Lu Sheng.
“…Shengsheng, maybe you should stop looking. These comnts are really infuriating.”
Yet, even slandered as she was, Lu Sheng showed no signs of anger or sadness.
“It’s fine,” Lu Sheng looked up.
“Even if only one in a hundred of the several hundred thousand people who have seen this Weibo post believes , or thinks that the matter with Professor Peng might not be as they imagine, then posting this Weibo was aningful.”
As much as she said that, Lan Yu couldn’t help but ask, “So are we just going to do nothing and let these people misunderstand and insult you like this?”
Lu Sheng paused: “Actually, even if I post another Weibo to explain, it wouldn’t be of any use.”
“Those who don’t believe , even if I present undeniable evidence right in front of them, will still refuse to believe and will criticize from all sorts of angles.”
“So, since I have made an effort to explain and so people will take it to heart, let the rest criticize ; it’s not like I’ll lose a piece of flesh over it.”
Lan Yu truly felt that Lu Sheng had trendous psychological resilience.
If it had been her, she would’ve started firing back at those keyboard warriors in the comnt section by now, and it would’ve made her furious.
Lu Sheng wasn’t taking this matter to heart, but others were worried about her.
Lu Youming caught wind of the news from sowhere and first ca downstairs to Lu Sheng’s room. Shortly after, Lu Youye also rushed down.
Just after Lu Sheng had explained the situation to them briefly, a servant ca to relay a ssage, stating that so of Lu Sheng’s classmates had co to the house.
When they all went to the living room, they found Huo Yu standing at the entrance.
Huo Yu was dressed in a white shirt and dark blue jeans, his features handso and delicate, his usual quiet and reserved self.
Although many had co to greet him, his gaze was fixed solely on Lu Sheng who stood at the center, his calmness unable to hide his concern.
“I saw your Weibo, are you okay?”
Lu Sheng, guessing that Huo Yu was worried about the impact those comnts had on her and that was why he ca directly to her house, replied, “I’m fine, co inside first.”
So now, Lu Sheng, Lan Yu, Lu Youming, Lu Youye, and the newly arrived Huo Yu were all gathered in the living room.
After discussing together, they unanimously agreed that the only way to turn things around was to find the person who made the post on the internal forum of Beijing University and discover whether the allegations of sexual harassnt and attempted rape against Professor Peng were true or not.
If true, they wouldn’t need to worry about Professor Peng anymore, as those guilty of such cris should be in jail.
But if it was false and Professor Peng was unjustly sared and deliberately frad — Professor Peng had already been taken to the police station, and it was uncertain whether the police could find the poster. If they could find evidence ahead of ti, that would be best.
“The anonymous account that made the post has already been canceled, and the post deleted, can we still find the poster?” Lu Sheng turned to Huo Yu.
As the second-ranked top hacker in CHA, if Huo Yu said he couldn’t find them, then it truly ant they could not be found.
“I can hack into the internal forum of Beijing University, but I can’t restore accounts that have already been canceled from the system backend,” Huo Yu paused before continuing, “I can only try my best.”
Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but sigh.
Ti flew by, and it was already late afternoon when Jiang Ting invited Lan Yu and Huo Yu to stay for dinner at the house.
As night fell, the doorbell at ho rang. Lu Sheng and Lu Youming exchanged glances, knowing Jiang Yusheng had arrived.
Jiang Yusheng, upon seeing his sister as he entered, was in a reasonably good mood, making so small talk.
However, as soon as he entered the dining room and saw Lu Sheng sitting there too, his face imdiately dropped.
“Tingting, what’s going on here?” Jiang Yusheng’s face turned extrely ugly in an instant, “Didn’t you say you would lock up this Lu Sheng in a room? Why is she sitting here as well?”
Jiang Yusheng truly didn’t regard Lu Sheng at all, even going as far as to speak so directly in front of Lu Sheng.
Completely indifferent to how Jiang Ting would feel if she really said that.
“Brother, please sit down first. I have sothing to ask you.”
Without a word, Jiang Ting forcefully pushed Jiang Yusheng down into the seat, leaving no room for refusal.
“Brother, tell the truth, does that incident with Professor Peng Hongyuan at Beijing University have anything to do with you?”
Jiang Yusheng did not expect his sister to suddenly ask such a question, and his expression visibly panicked, but he still responded to Jiang Ting with extre defiance.
“What? What nonsense are you talking about! How could Peng Hongyuan’s trouble have anything to do with , did you hear sothing from soone?”
Jiang Yusheng’s reaction was within Lu Sheng’s expectations.
Hearing Jiang Yusheng’s words, Lu Sheng narrowed her eyes and said, “Professor Jiang, are you really saying that you have nothing to do with the incident involving Professor Peng?”
“I heard that last month, during the eting to decide on your promotion to the dean of Beijing University dical School, Professor Peng vetoed you with a single vote, this…”
Before Lu Sheng could finish speaking, Jiang Yusheng began to curse at her.
“Where did you little bitch hear about this? What gives you the right to talk to this way, who do you think you are questioning here?”
“What, so you’re really like the reports say, you slept with that old man Peng Hongyuan to exchange for special recruitnt quota, right?”
“Could it be that you developed feelings from sleeping with him? A bitch indeed gives birth to a woman who’s just a little bitch…”
As soon as Jiang Yusheng uttered the word “little bitch,” the faces of everyone present, including Jiang Ting and both Lu Youming and Lu Youye, changed.
Lan Yu and Huo Yu’s expressions changed as well.
Just as Lu Youye was about to slam his fist on the table and stand up, suddenly, a vase flew from nowhere.
Straight towards Jiang Yusheng!
!!
With a flicker of his eye, Jiang Yusheng saw a dark shadow flying toward him and reflexively dodged with a scared tilt of his head.
The vase grazed his cheek and smashed against the wall behind him. With a loud “crack” upon impact, fragnts scattered all over the ground.
Realizing what was flying towards him, Jiang Yusheng took a deep breath in fright, breaking out in a cold sweat.
If his reaction had been a bit slower, that vase would not have hit the wall.
It would have hit his head directly!
And he could well have ended up with a broken skull and bleeding!
The rest, including Lu Sheng, were also startled.
In the midst of the shock, they saw Lu Ziye, dressed in a black hoodie, entering the dining room, his blue diamond earring shining brilliantly under the light.
Was it Lu Ziye who had thrown the vase?
“Ziye?? You, you…”
Jiang Yusheng, frightened and at a loss for words, pointed at Lu Ziye with a look of disbelief on his face.
“…Uncle.”
Lu Ziye stood there, his face expressionless as he looked towards Jiang Yusheng, his eyes harboring a near-bloodthirsty danger.
“If you dare to call my sister a ‘little bitch’ again, I guarantee that you won’t be leaving the Lu Family’s house on your feet today.”
Lu Ziye raised his eyes, calmly stated, “If you don’t believe it, just try.”
