"Oh, is the sun rising from the west today? Why are you being so patient with ?"
"Yes, from now on, let the sun rise from the west every day." Fu Zhen lazily gazed at the moonlight outside the window.
Pei Zhan looked up and smiled at her with pursed lips.
After tending to all the wounds on her arms, he hesitated again as he looked at her legs covered by her skirt.
In the past, jokes were just jokes, but he still rembered the phrase "n and won should not touch each other’s hands."
Without a word, Fu Zhen lifted her skirt and trouser legs, revealing the scars on her calves and knees, "A good person does good deeds to the end, like sending a Buddha to the west."
The girl’s fair and well-proportioned legs were exposed, causing Pei Zhan to instinctively avert his gaze.
He extended the dicine in his hand, "You can apply it yourself."
Fu Zhen smiled, "Weren’t you just saying I was your wife? Are you denying it now?"
From his angle, Pei Zhan’s earlobes were already red.
Yet he maintained his composure, "We haven’t consummated our marriage; you still have a choice. Until you’ve decided, I don’t want to offend you."
"But you’ve already looked, how is that any different from offending?" Fu Zhen pushed the dicine back to him.
Pei Zhan looked down at the floor, "Please don’t force , okay?"
Fu Zhen stretched her leg out, placing it in his hand, "I said, a good person does good deeds to the end."
The firm and smooth calf barely rested on Pei Zhan’s hand, and a current seed to flow from his hand throughout his entire body.
His face turned beet red, and his heart pounded like a drum, "What are you doing?"
Fu Zhen replied, "Seducing you."
Pei Zhan was speechless.
Fu Zhen lifted her leg again.
The man, feeling helpless, picked up the dicine, held her leg with one hand, and started applying the ointnt to the red and swollen wounds.
Poor thing, the wounds on both knees had already broken the skin, yet she said it didn’t hurt?!
Is she even a woman?
But the culprit was that man nad Lian, damn him!
Thinking of this, he turned his face toward the door. Old Qi had been blocking it for half the night, but had they caught him yet?
Seeing his distraction, Fu Zhen slipped onto his lap and started to undo his armor.
Pei Zhan panicked and grabbed her hand, "What are you doing now?"
"Helping you change clothes."
Pei Zhan was startled, "Don’t ss around!"
Fu Zhen laughed, "When you first recognized , you weren’t like a gentleman at all. You used all your little cleverness, so why are you shy now?"
"I was just teasing you." Pei Zhan kept a tight face.
He really wanted to push her away, but she was too fragrant and soft, making his limbs weak and unable to muster any strength.
Taking advantage of the mont, Fu Zhen slipped her hand out and thodically removed his armor, finally pulling it aside with a tug. "Being so hesitant won’t keep a wife."
Pei Zhan grumbled and glanced at her, "Are you applying the dicine or not?"
Fu Zhen raised her eyebrows and lifted her leg.
Pei Zhan tightly pursed his lips, scooped a dollop of ointnt, and applied it to her smooth calf. His expression was cold, but his hands moved as gently as a spring breeze.
Pei Zhan had never imagined that he could be this close to her!
He didn’t know how things had changed, but sohow, they had! In recent days, it seed like her gaze lingered on him more and more!
A mont ago, applying the dicine was completely normal, but now it felt like flirting!
He couldn’t help but lift his gaze to look at her face, so close to him.
Thinking of her so many tis was just a fantasy; now she was warm and alive in his arms, the fine hair by her ears clearly visible. No matter what form this physical body takes, it couldn’t compare to this living touch.
He could no longer keep a straight face.
A heart made of stone lted into spring water.
His chest fluttered, and with just a slight tilt of his head, he kissed her cheek.
Fu Zhen paused in the middle of watching him apply the dicine.
A mont later, she slightly lifted her head to et his gaze.
Pei Zhan, flustered, bowed his head and held her body tighter with his arms. "Don’t move, it’s almost done."
Two or three Copper Coin-sized wounds, yet it took a good quarter of an hour to apply the ointnt.
But at this mont, who would mind the delay?
The new moon hung brightly in the sky, the evening breeze brought the fragrance of osmanthus, and the glow of the glass lamp enveloped the pair, filling the room with a sweet fragrance, making ti linger tenderly.
