After Liu Rui got the news from Sun Mingjie, she was bewildered for a few days, and then she couldn’t help but turn towards the courtyard. "Why are you telling about him? I have nothing to do with him?" Ye Qian didn’t care.
Ye Ling smiled faintly, "What I an is look at the people connected to you, has any of them ended well? You’ve reached this point today, maybe you think it’s great, but life is what you make of it. We are sisters after all, and I’ll leave you with so sincere advice: Don’t ruin yourself."
Ye Qian’s face turned cold, "I handle my own affairs, I decide my own path. I don’t need you to preach to here. Who do you think you are? You say we’re sisters, but have you ever helped with anything? Don’t pretend to give face now with your false sincerity."
"That’s how it is between us. You never saw as a sister, and I never saw you as a sister. However you treated , that’s how I’ll treat you, without blaming each other for doing things wrong." Ye Ling looked distantly as Shen Bin returned, glanced one more ti at Ye Qian, "Back then, you and Shen Bin didn’t have no chance, but what did you do? You didn’t know Shen Bin’s real status and looked down on him for being a divorcee from the countryside. The opportunity was there for you, but you didn’t cherish it, and now you bla others. That’s you; it’s always soone else’s fault."
Before the two could say more, Shen Bin had already walked up to them. When he saw Ye Qian, he didn’t show much reaction, just a cold nod, as a greeting. This was only for Ye Ling’s sake; otherwise, he wouldn’t have acknowledged Ye Qian at all.
"Isn’t tomorrow a day off? Just right, Sui Gang and the others are back. We should go see them." Shen Bin turned his head to speak with Ye Ling.
Hearing that Sui Gang was back, Ye Ling smiled and nodded, "Okay, then I’ll tell mom in a while; we can have mom bring Little Fatty tomorrow."
"Zhao Guodong and the group are also going. The matter between Sui Gang and Yang Hui is all a ss. It’s perfect for everyone to et and discuss," Shen Bin shared his thought.
Ye Qian just stood aside watching the sweet interaction between the couple, feeling her heart sour over and over.
Once, she had left disheartened; coming back like this now, to everyone here, was like looking down on herself.
Biting her lip, Ye Qian turned around and left swiftly.
Watching Ye Qian’s departing back, Ye Ling shook her head at Shen Bin. Once inside, Ye Ling sighed as she ca out.
"I thought her determination would amount to sothing? I didn’t expect it to end like this." Over these years, Ye Ling had co to terms with things. Although she didn’t have a good relationship with Ye Qian, of course, she still hoped for the best for Ye Qian. She just didn’t expect Ye Qian would always choose the wrong path.
"Her own affairs, she can manage herself. She’s not a child anymore, so don’t worry about her." Shen Bin wrapped his arms around his wife. Now, he was already a commander, having quickly climbed the ranks because of so achievents he had made in these two years.
Ye Ling nodded without saying anything, and the couple went to bed early to prepare to et Sui Gang and the others the next day.
