CALLUM
"Disgusting! Disgusting and utterly disgusting fuck!!!" Celyn yelled at the top of her voice in anger.
She was upset but she definitely wasn’t as pissed as I was. I was literally riding in the hate and anger train right now.
No one is more shocked and angrier than I was at the mont.
I am still trying to wrap my head around what had just happened tonight and so far, everything is mushy and I can’t even bring myself to focus.
How is it that he was able to mark her? Kalia is wolfless and she’s not even his mate to begin with. They’re not even compatible with each other so why didn’t no one stop him.
I had expected my father to swoop in or his goddamn mother to interrupt the process but no one did. Not a single person did.
They just stood there watching the whole thing unfold like a bunch of stupid statues on display at a public museum.
Celyn adjusted her seatbelt in a frustrated manner. "Why now? Why exactly did it have to happen now? That bitch just always has a way of ruining everything."
"She always tries to make everything about her all the ti. Why didn’t just die all those years ago? Why did she have to survive to co here and compete with ?"
I wished that I could answer her question but I was too shocked and dumbfounded to speak.
My night has never been more ruined as it was today. If I were to make a list of my worst days then today would probably be ranking in number one with nothing else coming close.
If Celyn thought that she was having a bad day then I’m definitely going through worse at the mont.
"And did you see Darren’s mansion?" She exclaid loudly. "How is it that he gets to live in that palace with Kalia? I’ve always envisioned what an Alpha Prince’s house would look like and although I am very angry, I still couldn’t believe my eyes."
I simply ignored her outburst. "Would you like to drive you ho or—"
She looked at . "Your house please. My mother and father are probably going through a lot after what happened and I don’t want to be stuck in that house hearing their constant bickering all night."
"Fine." I breathed out and took the road that led to my house.
With my hands clutching the steering wheel tightly as though my life depended on it, I focused my eyes on the road so that I don’t get distracted even though I had a million things running through my mind right now.
"He marked her." I thought to myself with a scoff. At first, I had thought that Kalia got together with that bastard because she wanted to get back at .
I had thought that if my father and his mother were involved then they would’ve been able to split them up and forced them to separate but things aren’t really looking up to that direction anymore.
Marking her ant that he had claid her and claiming her ant that he had fulfilled the rights to own her in regards to the mate bond.
It ant that no matter what happens, they cannot be separated. They will keep on longing for each other and if she accepts it, then the strength of their mating bond would be off the charts.
If she doesn’t reject him, they’ll be compatible and then no one, not even my family would be capable or strong enough to separate them.
"I had thought that I would enjoy this night watching my good for nothing stepsister get dragged out of that mansion but as fate would have it, I was the one that got dragged out instead." Celyn mumbled to herself with a smirk but I heard her loud and clear.
"You’re not going to say anything?" Celyn demanded, her voice pulling from my deep thoughts and disrupting my peace and quiet.
I’ve been trying to ignore her bickering all night but so far, it seems as if I’m stuck now.
"Your brother just marked your ex-fiance." She repeated as if I didn’t hear her the last three tis she mumbled about it.
"He’s going to get married to her now and there’s no stopping them now that she bears his mark on her."
"He’s going to go ahead and perform the marriage rites soon and you’re still not going to say anything? Doesn’t it bother you one bit?"
"What exactly do you want say Celyn?"
"Anything Callum!" She flared up in anger. "At least let hear your thoughts to know what you’re thinking about."
"I can’t be the only one stressing about the matter. I’ve been ranting and complaining nonstop and you haven’t even said a word to after we left that house."
I stopped the car abruptly. "And what in the na of the goddess do you want to say to you Celyn?" I grumbled angrily.
"You think this only affects you? I have never lost twice a day in my entire life. I blew off an important contract that would’ve made my father proud of and probably secured a spot for in his life."
"That contract went to his beloved first son while mine has been put on hold and do you want to know what’s worse?"
"The bastard also gets to have a share of my company and as if that isn’t enough, Darren has taken further steps with Kalia while we’re still yet to get married because for so reason, you’ve been pushing off our engagent." I explained, pouring out my anger and frustrations on her.
"Now instead of looking for ways to make talk and wallow in my sadness, why don’t you find a way for us to get married so that you can pregnant for at least." I said and I watched her swallow hard.
"At least, if I have a child before Darren then I’d console myself with the fact that my son will be the next in line to rule in the nearest future."
"If you cannot do that then you can find a way for to get to the top and make Darren’s life miserable. It’s your family’s specialty after all." I ranted on.
