Although the classroom was packed with people and the windows were tightly shut, it was still cold.

Cold air is omnipresent; it slips in through the gaps in the windows and sneaks through the door.

Yun Shifei felt she had already worn enough clothes, yet her body still felt chilly.

Finally, when the class ended, she rubbed her palms together. "Let’s grab a drink or sothing."

"Sure, I’ve been craving a hot drink for ages."

But when Yun Shifei carried her book to the classroom door, she saw soone standing there.

Cheng Lie.

The boy was wearing a khaki-colored coat today. His posture was upright, and the coat on him exuded a carefree and dashing vibe.

With sharp features and a tall fra, he stood at the bustling classroom door, drawing countless gazes.

Normally, if Yun Shifei saw Cheng Lie here, she would’ve been thrilled, surprised even.

But now, she pressed her lips together and remained silent.

"Hey, isn’t that guy super handso?"

"Yeah, yeah! Is he from our school? Why haven’t I seen him before?"

"For soone this good-looking, he’s definitely ’school-heartthrob’ material. Honestly, even celebrities in the entertainnt industry don’t asure up."

The dormmates had started whispering among themselves.

Other girls in the classroom were also glancing at Cheng Lie and murmuring quietly.

Listening to their comnts, Yun Shifei felt a bit awkward.

She looked at Cheng Lie, and Cheng Lie was looking straight at her too. Clearly, he had co for her.

Yun Shifei wasn’t sure whether she should greet Cheng Lie.

After all, walking out of the classroom ant passing right by him.

As she mulled this over, she had already reached Cheng Lie.

Cheng Lie smiled at her. "Shi Fei."

Seeing him call Yun Shifei by na, Yun Shifei’s dormmates froze completely.

Their prior enthusiastic discussions vanished instantly.

They couldn’t help thinking that Yun Shifei’s luck with romance was off the charts.

They didn’t even need to ntion the boys who had shown interest in her before—now there was another one, and he was stunningly handso.

Oh my god!

What’s with this saying "the dry stay dry, and the flooded drown"? Can’t heaven spare a glance for girls like them who aren’t being pursued?

Yu Liantao, Fu Qingqing, and Tang Xiao huddled together, wanting to cry from their misery.

anwhile, Yun Shifei, having heard Cheng Lie greet her, was slightly taken aback but responded politely, "What brings you here?"

"I bought milk tea for you." Cheng Lie extended the milk tea toward Yun Shifei.

Yun Shifei hesitated to take it.

Cheng Lie added, "It’s from a new shop that opened recently in Beijing. It’s very popular. I went there early in the morning and queued for nearly an hour to get it. Give it a try."

Hearing it was sothing he’d gone out of his way to buy on a freezing morning, Yun Shifei found it hard to refuse.

Thinking about how he’d spent so much ti waiting in line in the cold, Yun Shifei’s frustratingly soft heart began wavering once again.

She took the milk tea and couldn’t help but scold him, "Don’t ever do this again. No matter how tasty sothing is, it’s not worth waiting so long to buy."

"Got it." Seeing Yun Shifei accept it, Cheng Lie quietly exhaled a sigh of relief. Her scolding confird that she hadn’t completely given up on him yet.

"There are egg tarts inside too—make sure you eat them while they’re warm."

He then glanced toward Yun Shifei’s three dormmates, who had been eagerly observing the scene.

Taking a couple steps forward, he handed the remaining three cups of milk tea to them.

"I brought so for you too."

"Oh, thank you! Really, thank you so much!"

The dormmates, who had just been lanting their bad luck, were now filled with surprise and gratitude.

They had wanted sothing warm and sweet; little did they know soone would actually bring it to them.

It was so nice!

Besides, they had heard of this shop. Apparently, it was a chain that had co from Hong Kong—it had just opened, and people often queued up for hours.

They hadn’t imagined they’d get to try it today.

"I’ll be heading off now." After delivering the drinks, Cheng Lie turned to look at Yun Shifei.

Yun Shifei nodded coldly.

Yet, after Cheng Lie turned and left, she couldn’t help keeping her eyes on him as he walked away.

As he had gotten older, it seed he’d grown even taller. From his back, he now looked fully like a grown man.

He was no longer the boy who hid behind her; he had beco dependable, full of a sense of security.

Recalling the monts they had spent together in the past and looking at the milk tea in her hand, Yun Shifei’s heart felt complicated—like a vast ocean hidden within her.

"Shi Fei, co clean—was that guy your boyfriend?" Yu Liantao hooked her arm around Yun Shifei’s neck and asked with a face full of curiosity.

Yun Shifei shook her head.

"Was he your pursuer then?" Fu Qingqing leaned in and asked.

Yun Shifei shook her head again.

"If he’s not your boyfriend and not your pursuer, then what’s your relationship? It looked like he tid your class break perfectly to co and bring you a drink. Look, this milk tea—it’s still warm." Tang Xiao chid in.

The three dormmates crowded Yun Shifei, peppering her with gossip.

If it were earlier, maybe they wouldn’t have been so curious, but given how generous Cheng Lie had been, bringing them such delicious milk tea, they couldn’t help wanting to dig deeper—and possibly secure more perks in the future.

"There’s nothing between us, just ordinary friends."

Now, not even friends really.

The three dormmates, hearing this, didn’t believe her.

"Yun Shifei, I’m telling you—if you don’t spill everything, you’re not leaving today!"

They were even resorting to threats now, and Yun Shifei felt a bit helpless.

"Can an ordinary friend treat you this well?" They refused to believe this was rely friendship.

"Do you really not believe ?"

The dormmates nodded firmly.

Yun Shifei sighed. "Fine, I’ll tell you. He and I are indeed just ordinary friends—but I liked him before."

"You an, he’s the one you liked?" Fu Qingqing’s eyes widened.

Yun Shifei nodded.

"No way! If you liked him, shouldn’t you be the one treating him well? But he’s treating you like this—doesn’t that an he probably likes you too?"

"Definitely not. It’s just that he lied to about so things before and made angry, so now he’s trying to make it up to ."

After explaining, Yun Shifei didn’t want to continue the topic any further.

"Let’s go. We have to head to the other classroom for class—otherwise, we’ll be late."

Yu Liantao watched Yun Shifei’s retreating figure and thoughtfully tugged at Fu Qingqing and Tang Xiao.

"Do you think that guy likes Shi Fei?"

"Absolutely. You could tell just by the way he looked at her." Fu Qingqing said.

"But according to Shi Fei, she’s so sure it’s not love..." Tang Xiao frowned.

"I think it definitely is!" Yu Liantao remarked. "She just hasn’t realized it yet. Honestly, she’s so dense. If a guy doesn’t like a girl, even if he wanted to apologize for sothing, he wouldn’t go out of his way like this to do it."

"So, should we help them out? If they truly like each other but don’t realize it, won’t that drive us crazy?" Fu Qingqing mused.

Having received such good milk tea, they felt it was only right to help him out.

If Yun Shifei knew her dormmates were trying to "sell her out" because of one cup of milk tea, she’d certainly be speechless.
