Keegan Sanders thought for a mont. In all the years he’d worked for Victor Morgan, he’d never once seen his boss change his profile picture.

Looking at the contact na "Boss" at the top of the chat window, then glancing at the cute profile picture on the left, Keegan Sanders couldn’t help but feel that sothing was very strange.

His straight-laced boss, who was usually so serious and never cracked a smile, paired with such an adorable profile picture... it was a complete mismatch.

[Victor Morgan: Yes? It’s . What’s wrong?]

Keegan Sanders: "..."

[Keegan Sanders: Just confirming. Didn’t want to send a ssage to the wrong person.]

’Could he really say what he was thinking?’

Victor Morgan couldn’t care less how many people were shocked by his new profile picture. What was wrong with using a chibi version of his fiancée?

It wasn’t until early October that Jessie Sterling finally t with Victor Morgan.

Counting the days, it had been nearly three months since they had last parted ways in Aethelburg and seen each other properly.

In between, Victor Morgan had co to Southaven or nearby on business trips, eting Jessie Sterling for a quick al before rushing off again.

Jessie Sterling’s eight wedding dresses were rushed to completion and were finally ready by early autumn. Before that, Jessie had already chosen the locations for their photoshoot.

She had asked Victor Morgan if he wanted to just take a couple of wedding photos dostically or in Port Caldoria. However, before sending that ssage, she had already sent him a list of options she’d selected, including several islands and a few foreign cities known for their centuries-old architecture.

Victor Morgan’s reply did not disappoint her. "Let’s go to all the places you want to go."

[Jessie Sterling: Won’t it interfere with your work?]

In the end, it turned out that Victor Morgan was the type of person who could instantly switch into work mode, even on a plane, completely unaffected by his surroundings.

Just now, for instance, Jessie Sterling had erged from the bathroom. She and Victor Morgan had spent the day in Tahiti for a photoshoot. This had originally been their first choice for the wedding venue, but they later changed it to St. Alban’s Palace.

But the seaside wedding photos were a must.

Photoshoots were physically demanding. Jessie Sterling was exhausted after a long day and just wanted to sleep.

They were heading to New Zealand tomorrow. October was lupine season there, a ti of gentle spring sun and rebirth, and it was the part of the entire photoshoot itinerary that Jessie Sterling was most looking forward to.

The azure lake, the pink and purple lupines blooming at the foot of the forest and beside the water, the pure landscape bathed in the warmth of spring—it was all so refreshing.

When Jessie Sterling ca out, she found Victor Morgan still in the forward cabin, working.

She was currently on Victor Morgan’s private jet. For the past half-month, the two of them had been globetrotting, and a private jet made things much more convenient.

"Aren’t you going to rest?" Jessie Sterling asked, her hair wrapped in a towel. She peeked her head out from the doorway, looking at the man still at his seat with his laptop open, working.

A glass of ice water sat beside Victor Morgan’s hand. When he heard Jessie Sterling’s voice, he looked up and reached out to remove one of his wireless earbuds.

"Mm, still in a eting," Victor Morgan said calmly.

But those words made Jessie Sterling, still standing in the doorway, want to curl her toes in a cringe.

’A eting?!’

Victor Morgan’s laptop was facing away from her, so she couldn’t see the screen.

But she had seen him remove his earbud as clear as day.

’That ant the online eting was likely a video or voice call, and just now she...’

Jessie Sterling imdiately spun around and vanished from the spot.

On the plane, Jessie Sterling and Victor Morgan had separate rooms.

A short while after Jessie Sterling returned to her room, she heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" she asked.

"It’s ," Victor Morgan’s voice ca from outside the door.

Jessie was surprised. She hadn’t expected Victor Morgan’s eting to end so quickly.

She shuffled reluctantly to the door and pushed it open a crack, looking at the man outside who was still dressed in an impeccable suit.

"What are you doing here? Is your eting over already?" There was a hint of resentnt in Jessie Sterling’s voice. Although she couldn’t completely bla Victor Morgan for her embarrassing mont earlier, she couldn’t help but take it out on him.

Victor Morgan caught the flicker of awkwardness in Jessie Sterling’s eyes and couldn’t help but smile. He had indeed sped things up to end the eting early.

"Mm, I ca to see what you needed for earlier," Victor Morgan said.

Jessie: "Nothing. I was just tired after today and wanted to tell you to wash up and get so rest. I didn’t realize you had so much energy every day..."

The last sentence, Jessie Sterling muttered as if to herself, not intending for Victor Morgan to hear.

’If Victor Morgan weren’t so energetic, how could he possibly work overti at night without fail, even after a full day of shooting?’

Hearing this, Victor Morgan fell silent for a mont.

He certainly had a lot of work, but it wasn’t as if he had to squeeze it in during his downti every day. After all, he employed so many people for a reason. Things wouldn’t fall apart if the person who made the final decisions was absent for a short period.

’But...’

Victor Morgan thought back to the photoshoot in Tahiti today, and his expression darkened slightly.

The photography team had been arranged back ho. The photographer was a featured artist for the country’s big four fashion magazines, famous for his romantic and atmospheric style.

If not for the prestige of the Morgan and Sterling families, it would have been impossible to book him without at least a year’s advance notice.

Today, there had been a set of photos in an overwater bungalow.

Not the typical shots on the bungalow’s walkway, but indoors.

Half of the bungalow’s floor was transparent glass, offering a view of the nearly crystal-clear seawater below. The room had been decorated beforehand by the photography team, surrounded by cappuccino and white roses, with the couple ant to be embracing on the bed.

These were ant to be a more private set of wedding photos. Jessie Sterling wore an elegant, white satin, rmaid-style wedding dress, her hair pulled into a simple bun, looking gentle and classy.

For this set, the photographer had asked Jessie Sterling to lie on the bed while the groom leaned down to embrace her.

Unfortunately, aside from their "most intimate mont" a few months ago at Sixi Courtyard in Aethelburg, the two had practically no physical contact in person. And even that "most intimate mont" was just Victor Morgan sitting on the sofa, watching over Jessie Sterling as she slept.

So when it ca to the intimate atmosphere the photographer was asking for, both Victor Morgan and Jessie Sterling looked incredibly stiff.

"Groom, you’re still two feet away from the bride! Do you call that an embrace? Are you trying to hug her from across the room?"

"Bride, please relax a little! Don’t be so rigid... We’re shooting wedding photos, not a police lineup! You’re so stiff, even post-production can’t fix this to look beautiful!"

"Oh, President Morgan, President Morgan! Your focus should be on the bride beneath you! What are you looking at the pillow for?"

The entire morning, the photographer was on the verge of a ltdown. He’d already chugged three large bottles of water, but this couple simply could not get into character.
