Harrison Sutton’s brow was still furrowed, his expression unpleasant.

Cedric Sutton poured a glass of water and handed it to him. "I know you value Eliza’s talent, Dad, and you don’t want her reputation tarnished by all that nonsense. But you’re forgetting sothing. From the mont Eliza Sutton went to prison, her reputation was destined to be ruined.

Besides, it doesn’t matter if her reputation is destroyed. It doesn’t matter that she was kicked out by the Lockwood family. The Sutton family is still here. We’re blood relatives. How could we not take care of Eliza? As for whether her ruined reputation will affect her status as Master Innis, the solution is simple. We just have Eliza draw the designs and release them under Alia’s na."

"Dad, you know you raised Alia yourself. She’s closer to you than anyone."

Harrison Sutton’s frown instantly smoothed over. He reached for the glass, drained it in one gulp, and said approvingly, "You truly are the son I value most. You’ve thought of everything. Since you already have a plan, go ahead and do it. As your father, I’ll always support you."

After he finished speaking, Harrison Sutton left, humming a tune.

Alia Sutton was completely surprised. "I thought Dad didn’t want so man and a child to ruin Eliza Sutton? Why did he suddenly change his mind?"

"Because Eliza Sutton is a fool, of course," Cedric said. "She was foolish enough to break ties with the Sutton family and disown her own father. So, compared to having a daughter full of resentnt toward the family as Master Innis, Dad would much rather have you—his obedient daughter whom he raised himself—be Master Innis."

Alia Sutton paused for a mont before understanding dawned on her. With a look of sincere admiration, she said, "Brother, you’re so smart. With you here, I can definitely crush Eliza Sutton!"

’So what if Eliza is Master Innis now?’

’She’s still just a toy for to play with, isn’t she?’

Seeing Alia’s happy expression, Cedric Sutton’s face was filled with a doting smile.

...

Eliza Sutton followed behind Shane Lockwood, walking out of the stadium surrounded by a large entourage.

The press conference was over, but the crowd outside the stadium had only grown, a veritable sea of people.

Everyone was on their tiptoes, craning their necks in anticipation.

Master Innis was the designer who had been all the rage in recent years. Veridian fashion owed its current international standing largely to her.

In many people’s hearts, Master Innis was practically a spiritual icon.

Her revealing her identity now, especially after so many had accused her of plagiarism, made everyone even more curious and sent her fans into a frenzy.

In an instant, her fans were as nurous as the clouds, a massive, surging crowd.

Even the nearby police station had dispatched patrol cars to maintain order.

Seeing this, Eliza Sutton’s only impulse was to retreat.

She had always disliked noise and commotion.

The reason she had refused to accept her awards in person and never appeared publicly as Innis was precisely to avoid this kind of trouble.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her wrist.

It was Shane Lockwood.

Shane looked up at Eliza and said, "Why are you running? You’ve already been exposed. Where can you run to? Eliza Sutton," Shane’s tone grew heavier, "you have to stand tall and let everyone see you. Only then will the shadowy figures not dare to pop up so freely."

Eliza froze for a second. She looked at Shane Lockwood, her gaze eting his.

In that mont, she felt as if she had drawn an imnse power from his stare.

Suddenly, in that instant, her heart felt as if it were overflowing with courage.

Eliza simply let Shane Lockwood lead her by the hand out of the stadium.

A huge crowd of reporters instantly sward them.

They were like a school of fish fighting for food.

"Miss Sutton, what did you have to go through to get from being a criminal to the master fashion designer, Innis?"

"Miss Sutton, you’re the owner of Innis’s brand and the head designer of the Lockwood Group. Which job will be your main focus going forward?"

"Miss Sutton, I heard that the Golden Summit Award committee intends to invite you to be a judge. Will you accept?"

"Miss Sutton, soone once said that Innis monopolized all the talent in Veridia’s fashion design industry, leading to a dearth of new talent in recent years and no one being able to surpass you. What do you have to say about that?"

Eliza raised a hand, and Erik Irvine imdiately handed her a microphone.

Eliza’s gaze swept over the crowd.

Anyone who t her eyes instinctively fell silent.

The originally clamorous scene instantly quieted down.

Only then did Eliza speak. "I am very grateful for the recognition from the Golden Summit Award committee. If they need , I would be honored to serve. As for my future work arrangents, I will post them on my personal social dia account shortly. Those who are interested can take a look there. Also, soone just said that I alone have monopolized all the talent in the fashion design world. I do not agree with that statent."

Eliza raised her voice. "Our great Veridia has a five-thousand-year history and a profound cultural heritage. Outstanding individuals are as nurous as the stars in the sky. How could I possibly monopolize all that talent by myself? I know you say this out of admiration for , but please don’t say such things again."

Eliza’s last words were sowhat stern, yet they were t with a round of applause.

Suddenly, a shrill voice cut through the air. "Miss Sutton, is it true that you were in prison for five years?"

Eliza looked over and saw a reporter staring at her, his face alight with the excitent of pulling her down from her pedestal.

"Yes." Eliza’s admission was clean and direct.

’No matter why I went to prison back then, the mont I nodded, it beca an undeniable part of my past. And I have no intention of erasing it.’

Eliza’s voice rang with conviction. "I have been to prison. But there’s no law that says soone who has served their ti can’t start a new life or achieve sothing great."

"Well said!" Crystal Harrison, hidden in the crowd, shouted.

"She’s absolutely right."

"Yeah, so what if she’s been to prison? That just ans she made a mistake in the past. It has nothing to do with the honors she’s earned since."

"You can look at it another way. Eliza Sutton is out now, which ans that aside from her past mistake, her slate is clean. If you’re her fan, you don’t have to worry about her getting canceled."

"Doesn’t everyone find this version of Eliza Sutton really inspiring? She could especially encourage young people who have gone down the wrong path to strive for self-improvent."

"..."

DING.

DING.

Suddenly, the sound of text ssage alerts was incessant.

Almost everyone present had received a ssage.

The reporters packed at the very front took out their phones, and their jaws dropped when they saw the content.

"Oh my god, this can’t be real. How could Eliza Sutton do sothing like this?"

"It has to be fake. Definitely fake."

Eliza heard their whispers and imdiately sensed that soone was scheming behind the scenes again.

Just then, Erik Irvine rushed over with his phone, his expression anxious. He lowered his voice and said, "Designer Sutton, I just received a tip. It says you abandoned your husband and child for wealth and glory. This is absurd!"

The mont Erik’s words fell, a little boy in ragged clothes squeezed out of the crowd and threw himself at Eliza.

"Mommy, I finally found you!"
