"General Manager Reynolds is here."

The reporters frantically snapped photos. A forest of microphones was thrust forward, and a barrage of questions was hurled his way. In their excitent, the journalists jumped up from their seats and surged toward the front.

The security guards standing by imdiately moved to block them.

Seeing the chaos, the PR manager grabbed a microphone and shouted, "Return to your seats! Anyone who doesn’t follow the rules will be ejected!"

The guards, fierce as a pack of wolves, dragged out the two most disruptive reporters. Intimidated, the rest of the press corps settled down and returned to their seats.

The conference hall instantly fell silent.

Saul Reynolds chuckled. "Much better. Now that everyone’s quiet, we can talk properly. Alright, you can ask your questions now. The reporter from The Orange Network."

The reporter Saul Reynolds had called on imdiately stood up. "General Manager Reynolds, what did you an by that? Are you trying to say that Eliza Sutton is Innis?"

Saul Reynolds: "Yes. Eliza Sutton is Innis."

Saul Reynolds’s words sent an uproar through the hall. The roar of discussion nearly blew the roof off the stadium.

As a master designer with thousands of fans and adored by countless people, Innis’s identity was a source of endless speculation.

Take today, for example. So many people had co to the stadium, both inside and out. While the uproar over Eliza Sutton’s plagiarism scandal was a major draw, an even bigger reason was the desire to finally see Innis’s true face.

They had heard rumors beforehand that Innis would appear at this press conference.

They were buzzing with anticipation.

And now, they were being told that Eliza Sutton was Innis, and Innis was Eliza Sutton.

’What did that make the plagiarism incident? So kind of elaborate prank?’

「In the lounge to the side.」

Erik Irvine was stunned, muttering to himself, "The Mistress is actually Innis? This is unbelievable." Seeing Shane Lockwood’s calm expression, he asked, "President Lockwood, did you guess?"

"I only just figured it out."

Eliza Sutton’s obvious, extraordinary talent and Saul Reynolds’s earlier attitude had both surprised him.

This was the only explanation.

Eliza Sutton being Innis, the master of fashion design, would explain her far-from-ordinary design talent. And only if she was Innis, the true boss behind the brand, would Saul Reynolds’s gentle and accommodating attitude make perfect sense.

Erik Irvine murmured, "It’s still incredible."

And Erik wasn’t the only one who felt that way.

Even the reporters, who prided themselves on having seen it all, couldn’t help but put their heads together and whisper amongst themselves.

Alia Sutton, hidden amongst the crowd of reporters, couldn’t hold back any longer. She shot to her feet and shouted, "You, a criminal who never even went to college and spent five years in prison, dare to claim you’re Innis? That’s the biggest joke I’ve ever heard! Have any of you ever heard anything so ridiculous? It’s utterly absurd!"

Crystal Harrison imdiately shot back, "Excuse , ’reporter,’ did you not hear? General Manager Reynolds has already confird Eliza’s identity. What do you an by repeatedly calling it absurd? Are you accusing General Manager Reynolds of lying?"

"Yes, that’s exactly what I an! Saul Reynolds is lying!"

"That’s preposterous. Would General Manager Reynolds not recognize his own boss?" Crystal Harrison retorted.

Although she had no idea how Eliza Sutton had actually beco Innis, that didn’t matter.

What mattered was that being Innis was advantageous for Eliza, and it put her in a position where she couldn’t be bullied by just anyone.

Alia Sutton sneered. "Of course General Manager Reynolds knows his own boss. The problem is, no one else does. Innis hasn’t been seen in a very long ti. It’s not impossible that the General Manager was bribed, or perhaps seduced, into deliberately swapping out his boss. After all, as you can all see, this sister of mine has a very stunning face. Even in the entertainnt industry, she’d be considered a top-tier beauty. And General Manager Reynolds is a man, no matter how you look at it."

Brenda Preston hadn’t expected Alia Sutton to have such a powerful counterattack. Delighted, she imdiately chid in, "That’s right. Miss Sutton is correct. As Eliza Sutton’s sister, she knows her character better than anyone, so her words carry a lot of weight. Also, I recall Miss Sutton ntioning a detail. She said Eliza Sutton was in prison for five years. As Eliza Sutton’s direct supervisor, I know she was released from prison two months ago. But the Golden Summit Award was four years ago. How could soone in prison participate in the Golden Summit Award? Eliza Sutton, would you care to answer that question?"

Brenda Preston’s lips curled into a mocking smile. "Or can you simply not co up with an excuse, so you’re just spouting nonsense? Too bad for you, no one here is an idiot. We’re not that easily fooled!"

Brenda Preston’s words won the approval of countless people in the crowd.

Every reporter in the room looked at Eliza Sutton as if she were garbage.

"You have to admit, coming up with an excuse like this makes Eliza Sutton a genius of a sort. It’s a sha she doesn’t use that cleverness for good, wasting it all on these devious sches."

"I’m genuinely worried about Eliza Sutton’s ntal state now. What do you all think? Is this the last, desperate struggle of a cornered animal?"

"I think we should pay more attention to what Miss Sutton just said. Eliza Sutton may be shaless, but she wouldn’t have the guts to impersonate Innis on her own. Not unless she was certain that even if she did it publicly, the real Innis wouldn’t co after her. Innis has always been mysterious. Only Saul Reynolds knows her whereabouts, so this impersonation could only succeed with his cooperation."

"My God, that’s a terrifying thought."

"I thought I was just coming here today to bust a plagiarist. I didn’t expect to find an unhinged criminal. Soone’s begging for jail ti. Seriously."

"Has anyone called the police? Did soone dial 911?"

Hearing the crowd’s support, Alia Sutton lifted her chin high. "Eliza Sutton, your conspiracy has been exposed. You can’t possibly argue your way out of this with everyone watching. I suggest you confess now."

Eliza Sutton looked at Alia Sutton and said with great sincerity, "To be honest, I’ve always been worried about you. After all, you’re useless at everything except being number one at being vicious. I always wondered, ’What can a good-for-nothing like you possibly do?’ But now I see I was wrong. It seems God really did open a window for you; you do have a bit of talent. Look at you—what a rich imagination. You could probably make a living as a novelist or a screenwriter soday."

A flicker of malice crossed Alia Sutton’s eyes before she smiled. "Sister, I know it’s hard for you to face your own ruin, but you brought this on yourself. If you confess obediently, maybe you’ll get out of prison a little sooner this ti."

Saul Reynolds laughed. "How amusing. As the General Manager of Innis, I can’t even prove the identity of my own boss. That’s as ridiculous as having to prove your own mother is your mother."
