Chapter 1005: Chapter 1005: I Think It’s Better for You to Shut Up

Both parties were friends, and Lin Gantang found it difficult to handle the situation.

Helping to cover for Che Qin was wrong, but Lin Gantang couldn’t just reveal the truth recklessly under the guise of doing it for the sake of others. The relationship between Che Qin and Le Yu ultimately needed Le Yu to confess himself; otherwise, it would be no different from today’s Zhang Ruxin.

Moreover, Le Yu had already started to regret and had ntioned finding ti to tell Che Qin.

With that said, she had even less reason to ddle.

Le Yu just wanted to beat up his forr self.

[What would you do if you were ?] Le Yu sorrowed, [If your husband lied to you, how would you want him to coax you?]

Le Yu expressed a desire to take a reference.

Lin Gantang looked up at her husband, who had forcefully dumped out a pile of decorations: “Ah…this… ”

[Think quickly.] Le Yu urged her, and hypothesized, [If your husband hides from you that he’s looking at unntionable websites, his savings, his ambiguous relations with other won, basically lied, what do you think would be good?]

Wen Yanqing let out a cold scoff.

Lin Gantang: “…I think it’s better you shut up.”

Le Yu greatly mourned: [Sister Tang! You don’t love anymore!!]

Lin Gantang’s delicate body shook, and she quickly clarified: “No, don’t spout nonsense! My love is only for my husband!”

What stopped Le Yu’s wailing were a few words from Wen Yanqing: “What’s a grown man crying for! It’s not like you’re ‘splitting up’ yet ‘haven’t split’ right? If not split then go chase her, my advice is good or not? If not, just shut up!!”

Lin Gantang’s gaze swept over her, causing her to retract the hand she had moved to grab her phone, not daring to make a move.

On the other side of the phone, Le Yu shivered and didn’t dare to speak, successfully muting himself.

After a long half day, he finally dared to cautiously send a ssage: [Tang, your husband is kind of fierce.]

The sky had already turned dark, and around Christmas, C City always loved to let snow fall.

Under the streetlights, snowflakes danced one by one, landing on the bodies of hurried passersby.

Le Yu pulled out a thick coat to wear, hunching his long legs on the baggage, rubbing his cold-reddened hands, occasionally glancing at the tightly closed door.

Personal belongings and clothes were haphazardly stuffed into the cases, piled up beside him.

Le Yu felt quite miserable, having been kicked out by his girlfriend; and it even started snowing, the later it got, the colder it turned.

Le Yu had sat from day into the night, just waiting for Che Qin to co out, to apologize, explain, and retain him.

As for whether Che Qin was willing to forgive him, he had no idea. Previous relationships had co and gone without him being jealous or sad. But Le Yu had never liked soone this much before and didn’t know what to do next.

He could only use the dumbest thod, waiting here.

From the noisy to the deep silence of the night.

The sound of footsteps from far to near roused Le Yu, who looked up to see Mr. Che approaching, then despondently hung his head once more.

“Had a fight?” It was hard for Mr. Che not to notice him, what with all the baggage piled up in front of him.

Le Yu stuffed his hands into his pockets and weakly grunted a response.

“Split up? It’s for the best if you have. With your courier salary, how you could support my daughter.” Mr. Che had long been displeased with Che Qin choosing soone who had been kicked out of his ho, but given his own situation now, setting up a stall to sell fruits with his daughter’s money, he wasn’t earning more than Le Yu.

He lacked the energy even to mock, his expression sour as he put down so fruits in front of Le Yu, “Eat, don’t freeze or starve to death outside, or else co to us for compensation.”

Mr. Che’s tone was unpleasant. Le Yu fumbled with the fruit bag; inside were pears and oranges, very fresh, probably newly returned stock.

Le Yu, arms crossed, purposely said, “What, no money for gambling, coming to ask Qinqin for money again?”

Angered, Mr. Che instantly snatched the fruits away: “I’d rather feed them to a dog!”
