Chapter 50: Falling From A Horse After An Injury
Late at night, Yin Yue sneaked into the tent where the props and sundries were piled up.
Using the weak light of her phone screen, she found the saddle with Yu Wan’s na on it. She took out a folding knife and severed two locks that ensured the safety of the actors. Then, she found the prop sword that she needed to use during filming and replaced it with a real sword that she had bought.
The next day, the scenery of the grassland was ready. Yu Wan took a deep breath nervously. She looked at the monitor and silently recited her lines and actions.
Jiang Zhi sat beside Director Zheng and gave her a thumbs-up, making her feel at ease.
The crew tried their best to use the actresses without body doubles. Yu Wan had taken a few horsemanship lessons in advance, so her movents were very smooth. However, for so reason, the horse beneath her seed to be frightened and jumped uneasily. It was agitated!
Director Zheng held the walkie-talkie and thought that Yu Wan was acting. He repeatedly praised Jiang Zhi, “The newcor you found is very outstanding!”
Jiang Zhi smiled faintly, but she was a little uneasy. She could clearly see the panic on Yu Wan’s face!
PA!
The actor who was acting with Yu Wan stabbed the sword into her abdon. Looking at the bloodstains that were spreading out, he felt that sothing was amiss. “What, What’s going on? ! This sword… This sword is real!”
These words shocked everyone!
The mont he pulled out the sword, Yu Wan flipped over and fell off her horse. She clutched her abdon in pain, unable to speak!
Director Zheng and Jiang Zhi ran over in a panic and shouted, “Call 120! Call an ambulance!”
“What’s going on? Why did the prop beco a real sword?! What is the prop team doing?”
Director Zheng roared angrily, but Jiang Zhi carried out ergency treatnt on Yu Wan. She asked, “How do you feel? Other than the wound, where else does it hurt?”
Yu Wan gritted her teeth, shook her head, and said softly, “Sister Jiang, I’m sorry for making you and the director worried.”
At this ti, she was still saying these things?! What a fool!
Seeing that the production crew was in a ss, Yin Yue stood by the side and said lightly, “Looking at her current appearance, she can’t continue filming. Our production team’s progress can’t be delayed because of her, right? Fortunately, we have not been shooting for long. It’s still not too late to replace her now!”
She took the initiative to recomnd herself to Director Zheng and said, “My figure is about the sa as Yu Wan’s. Why don’t you let replace her?”
Jiang Zhi looked back and glared at her fiercely. Yin Yue was a little afraid and could only hold her tongue for the ti being. She watched as the ambulance drove over from afar. The dical staff carried Yu Wan onto a stretcher and pulled her to the hospital for treatnt.
Yu Wan, who was undergoing various examinations outside the ergency room of the hospital, endured the pain and held Jiang Zhi’s hand while her whole body trembled. “Sister Jiang, I don’t want to lose this role!”
Jiang Zhi nodded and looked at the doctor who had rushed over to ask about the situation.
The doctor looked at the CT scan and said, “The abdominal wound needs to be sutured and three of her ribs are broken. Fortunately, it has not struck anything vital. We need to carry out the surgery imdiately. The patient’s family mbers have to sign the papers!”
Jiang Zhi frowned and looked at Yu Wan. Her eyes were filled with tears as she shook her head at Jiang Zhi.
Yu Wan’s mother was seriously ill and she was currently in the hospital. She urgently needed a sum of money to carry out the surgery and maintain her life. She could not tell her mother about her injuries, and she definitely could not lose her job as the female lead!
Jiang Zhi held the pen and signed her na on her behalf. She promised her, “You can carry on with the surgery in peace. I will handle the matters of the production team. No one will replace you. When you recover, you can co back and film properly!”
The crew had also rushed to the hospital at that mont and coincidentally heard Jiang Zhi’s promise.
Yin Yue said in a slightly strange tone, “Oh, you’re thinking too much. If you don’t replace her, don’t tell the crew will stop work and wait for you to recover? Don’t think that you’ve brought out a key actress. She’s just a newbie. What qualifications does she have?”
Jiang Zhi gritted her teeth and stared at Yin Yue. Director Zheng did not express his opinion either.
However, Yu Wan gently shook Jiang Zhi’s hand. She smiled at her and said, “I believe you!”
The lights in the operating theater lit up. Jiang Zhi walked to Yin Yue and said, “You’re everywhere. Do you want to replace the lead role as an extra? Wake up. Even if Yu Wan can’t act, it’s not your turn!”
Yin Yue was struck in her sore spot. She opened her mouth and was about to say sothing, but she was reprimanded by a passing nurse. “This is a hospital. be quiet!
“If you want to argue, go outside!”
Yin Yue shut her mouth. Lu Mian heard the news and rushed to the hospital as soon as possible. She stood beside Jiang Zhi and spoke to Director Zheng in a rational manner.
“There was an incident where an actress was injured by a prop. The situation is bad. What we need to do now is to investigate who was at fault and who should bear the responsibility!
“If the incident gets out of hand, I’m afraid the entire crew will be affected. The project will be put on hold.”
The panicking crowd finally focused on finding the saboteur because of Lu Mian’s words!
