Jiang Changhai: "Yes, you are...?"
The two researchers imdiately showed joy on their faces, "We’ve co from the Capital City, to seek so advice from Jiang Mianmian; please wait a mont."
At the sa ti, Zhang Li, who had specifically changed into casual clothes, also got out from the co-driver’s seat of the second car, and then respectfully walked to the back to open the door.
"Elder Yu, this is the Jiang family’s ho."
When Jiang Changhai heard the man address ’Elder Yu,’ he felt a slight movent in his heart. Once he saw the elderly person being helped out of the car by the man, he beca more certain.
If he wasn’t mistaken, this elderly person should be Yu Cheng’s grandfather. At a glance, there were many similarities between the two.
Now that Jiang Changhai knew the identity of the visitor, he approached proactively: "Hello, may I ask if you are Yu Cheng’s grandfather?"
Elder Yu smiled and nodded: "Yes, and you must be Mianmian’s father, right?"
"Yes, yes, I’m Jiang Changhai. Co inside, please. It’s so cold out; no need to stand outside."
Although Jiang Changhai had no idea why Elder Yu had brought so many people, he knew that they definitely ant no harm to his family.
Leading the visitors toward the house, he called out: "Wife, we have guests, go and make so tea, please."
"Who is it?" Su Wanyu muttered as she sat on the sofa knitting, but she imdiately got up to make tea.
The three children, who were doing their howork, curiously looked toward the door, then Jiang Mianmian saw the elderly gentleman walking in the front.
She was first taken aback, then delightedly greeted: "Grandpa Yu, what brings you here? Brother Yu just took a flight back to the Capital City this morning."
Elder Yu, seeing Jiang Mianmian, touched her head and spoke kindly: "Grandpa Yu knows. It was after seeing your Brother Yu return that I ca to find you."
Hearing the conversation between the two, Su Wanyu too realized that the imposing-looking elderly gentleman must be Yu Cheng’s grandfather.
Though sowhat nervous, she also stepped forward to greet: "Elder, hello, I am Mianmian’s mother, Su Wanyu. You can just call Xiao Su."
"Hello, Xiao Su. I am Yu Cheng’s grandfather. Thank you for saving Yu Cheng’s life. Mianmian is very outstanding; you’ve raised a great child," said Elder Yu cordially.
Although Yu Cheng had already sent many gifts to the Jiang family to express his gratitude for saving his life, Elder Yu still made a point to personally express his thanks upon eting them for the first ti.
"Elder, you are too kind. It’s what we should do. Anyone who sees a child falling into the water would lend a hand. Please co inside and have a seat. I’ll go make so tea for you," Su Wanyu cordially invited him.
"Thank you," Elder Yu nodded to Su Wanyu.
Elder Yu walked ahead of everyone, and upon entering the house, his sharp eyes habitually scanned the room.
This was a habit from his lifeti of military service. Seeing such a stern grandfather, Li Lan and Wang Li felt sowhat scared.
The two ran to Su Wanyu, who was preparing tea in the kitchen, and said in a low voice, "Auntie, guests have co to your house, we... we’ll head back ho now."
"Alright, you go on ho then," Su Wanyu saw the two children and knew they were scared. She smiled gently and softly spoke.
After Su Wanyu finished speaking, the two children ran out, sticking close to the wall.
Elder Yu, seeing that he had once again frightened away two children, felt quite helpless.
