“Got it, you go back inside now,” Cheng An replied with a cheeky smile while walking backward.
After sending them off, Jiang Mianmian bounced into the kitchen where her parents were doing the dishes.
“Mom, Dad, let help you,” Jiang Mianmian said, rolling up her sleeves and getting ready to lend a hand.
“Sweetheart, you go watch so TV and have so fruit. Don’t intrude on your mom and dad’s couple ti,” Jiang Changhai said while washing dishes, purposely putting on a disdainful face as he talked to his daughter.
Jiang Mianmian gave her parents an ‘aggrieved’ look and huffed, “Hmph, sorry for bothering you.”
Feeling ‘rejected,’ she crossed her arms and pretended to run off to the living room in a huff.
The couple paid her no mind and continued washing dishes sweetly together.
