Chapter 1134: Chapter 1043: Rare Mont of Childishness
“Uncle Jiang is right, a lot of students at Capital University ride bikes to school.” Tang Lin agreed.
After looking around the courtyard for a while, Jiang Changhai took out the keys and opened the main house. Yu Cheng had owned this courtyard for so ti; although no one lived there, it was kept very clean.
It was clear that Yu Cheng must have arranged for soone to clean the place. Su Wanyu noticed this and imdiately felt that Yu Cheng was truly thoughtful. They could move in right away without having to clean.
Jiang Changhai placed the luggage inside and looked at the two kids, saying, “Alright, Tang Lin and Cheng An, you’ve been busy all morning with us. Let’s go grab a al, and we’ll co back afterward.”
“Sure, Uncle Jiang, you’re not familiar with this area, so it’s perfect for us to go out to eat. I can show you around.” Cheng An said happily.
“Alright, let’s go.”
Jiang Changhai’s family followed Tang Lin and Cheng An to a nearby clean restaurant and enjoyed a lively al.
After the al, Jiang Changhai was about to go to the counter to pay, but Cheng An quickly stood up to stop him.
“Uncle Jiang, please sit down, there’s no need for you to do it. It’s your first ti in the Capital City, and I should be the host. How could I let you pay? Let do it.” Cheng An said as he prepared to take out money.
“Cheng An, why are you battling Uncle Jiang over this? You are still students and haven’t earned money yet. Uncle Jiang can’t let you treat us.” Jiang Changhai also stopped Cheng An, not letting him pass through.
However, Tang Lin, who was sitting to the side, stood up with a smile and said, “Uncle Jiang, I already paid the bill earlier.”
“When did you pay?” Jiang Changhai was montarily stunned, but soon he understood.
Earlier, when they were halfway through eating, Tang Lin said he was going to the bathroom; it must have been then that he paid the bill.
Realizing this, Jiang Changhai thought Tang Lin was outstanding for soone so young—considerate and excellent for his age.
Cheng An also realized this and laughed, giving Tang Lin a thumbs up: “Not bad, you’re still as sneaky and cunning as ever.”
“Otherwise, would everyone be as clueless as you?” Tang Lin raised his eyebrows slightly, looking childishly smug.
Su Wanyu watched the two boys and said with a warm smile, “You two kids coming to help us and fighting over the bill like this makes us adults feel embarrassed. How about this: once we settle down, we’ll invite you over for a al to thank you for picking us up today.”
“Haha, Aunt Wan, you’re too kind, but if you invite us for dinner, we’ll definitely co.” Cheng An agreed readily, not showing any reservation.
“Exactly, Aunt Wan, ever since I tasted your cooking, I’ve been looking forward to it. Now that there’s a chance, of course, I’ll co.” Tang Lin also agreed.
Su Wanyu was delighted by Tang Lin’s sweet talk, and she liked them more the longer she looked at them.
“If you both enjoy Aunt Wan’s cooking, co over more often when you have ti. Aunt Wan will cook sothing delicious for you every day.” Su Wanyu said enthusiastically.
“That sounds great, Aunt Wan, let’s make it a deal. We’ll visit when we have ti and hang out with Mianmian.” Cheng An nodded with a cheerful grin.
Tang Lin thought about how they didn’t have any appliances in their new place yet and suggested, “Uncle Jiang, Aunt Wan, there’s a big supermarket not far from here. Yu Cheng and a few others and I opened it together. It sells all kinds of furniture and appliances. Let take you there to have a look.”
