636 Shaken

Old Madam Qu, who was originally a little shaken, restrained her expression and looked straight in Mo Rao’s direction with a smile.

“Rao Rao, you’re back? Quick! Co over and let

take a look. It’s been a few months since I’ve seen you.” Old Madam Qu waved at Mo Rao anxiously.

When Qu Rou saw that Old Madam Qu was about to be convinced by her, but Mo Rao’s appearance had stolen all of Old Madam Qu’s attention, she felt even more indignant.

Qu Rou stared at Mo Rao with hatred, as if Mo Rao was her enemy.

Mo Rao t Qu Rou’s gaze and raised her eyebrows slightly. Then, as if she didn’t see Qu Rou at all, she smiled at Old Madam Qu. “Grandma, I ca to see you, since I had ti after I ca back this ti. It’s been a long ti since we last t, so I missed you.”

With that, Mo Rao walked around Qu Rou and walked towards Old Madam Qu. Then, she held Old Madam Qu’s arm affectionately.

Sensing Mo Rao’s intimacy, the mirth in Old Madam Qu’s eyes deepened.

She patted Mo Rao’s hand unhappily. “You have the nerve to say that? You didn’t co back for months and left an old woman like

all alone at ho!”

When Qu You heard this, she was imdiately unwilling.

She leaned over and held Old Madam Qu’s hand as she pouted unhappily. “Grandma! If you tell Rao Rao this, Rao Rao will think that I neglected you! Didn’t you still have my father and

to accompany you? Why are you saying that you were all alone?!”

Old Madam Qu pretended to be disdainful as she pushed Qu You. “I’m fed up with looking at you and your father! Rao Rao is better looking!”

As soon as they heard this, Mo Rao, Qu You, and Qu Jian smiled.

As Qu Rou, who was kneeling on the ground, looked at the four people in front of her who were rejoicing over the family reunion and didn’t take her seriously at all, she was angered.

Even the servants who were surrounding her and staring at her seed like they were all mocking her for being chased out by the Qu family and could only kneel on the ground pitifully as she begged for help.

Her nails dug into her flesh, and her expression was extrely ugly.

“Grandma!” Qu Rou tried her best to smile. “Grandma! Help ! Just help

this once, okay? I’ve never begged you for anything. Just this once! I really don’t want to leave the entertainnt industry! Grandma!”

Qu Rou’s words interrupted Mo Rao and the others’ laughter. The four of them looked at Qu Rou in unison.

Before Old Madam Qu could speak, Qu You beat her to it. “Heh! Qu Rou, what do you want her to help you with? Everyone knows about your scandal, so how do you want her to help you? Why are you so shaless?!”

Qu Rou ignored Qu You and looked at Old Madam Qu pitifully. “Grandma, I really know my mistake now. I won’t do such a thing again! I swear! Grandma, I’m really at my wits’ end now!”

Her dejected look made Old Madam Qu’s heart ache.

Qu Rou had grown up beside her since she was young. Although she was a little arrogant and domineering after she grew up, she was still the granddaughter she had watched grow up, so she felt sympathy and pity.

Old Madam Qu’s lips moved a few tis, and her expression wavered.

When Qu Rou saw this, she beca excited. “Grandma! Really, I promise I won’t do such a thing again! I’ll definitely focus on singing and acting in the future!”

Qu You’s heart sank as she looked at Old Madam Qu and then at Mo Rao.

She stood in front of Old Madam Qu and said, “This is not sothing we can interfere in! You’d better leave quickly! Don’t forget that you’re no longer a mber of the Qu family! If you want to find soone to help, it’s better to find your mother!”

Qu You’s expression was cold and unyielding. She didn’t give Qu Rou any room for compromise.

Unlike Old Madam Qu, she had never had a good impression of Qu Rou since she was young. Especially now, with Mo Rao as a contrast, she felt that Qu Rou was even more detestable.

Therefore, it was absolutely impossible for her to be soft-hearted towards Qu Rou!
