557 A Walk in the Park
“Shall we go take a walk? It can help with digestion,” Mo Rao suggested as she looked up at Gu Ci.
Gu Ci nodded. “Of course.”
Anything was fine as long as he could be with Mo Rao.
Seeing that Gu Ci agreed, Mo Rao brought him in a direction.

“I rember there’s a small park nearby. I heard the lights look beautiful at night. We can go enjoy the view there.”
Mo Rao had been filming ever since she arrived here. She was always either on the set or at the hotel, so she didn’t know the surrounding environnt that well.
She had heard the production crew ntion this small park occasionally.
The two of them drove to the small park and were about to go in for a walk when Mo Rao’s phone rang.
Mo Rao looked up at Gu Ci in embarrassnt, but Gu Ci didn’t mind and smiled at Mo Rao as he said, “Go ahead.”
Mo Rao nodded and walked to the other side with her phone to answer the call. “Brother, what’s the matter?”
“It’s nothing serious. I just want to ask, where are you now?” Mo Yuan’s voice was very soft, and one couldn’t tell what his mood was.
“In the park with Gu Ci.”
“In the park?” Mo Yuan confird.
Mo Rao didn’t understand what Mo Yuan wanted to do, but she still replied, “Yes.”
“Okay, co back early.”
Seeing Mo Rao hang up, Gu Ci walked over. Before Gu Ci could speak, Mo Rao explained, “My brother called.”
Gu Ci nodded and didn’t say anything else. He brought Mo Rao towards the small park.
At the hotel, when he heard from Director Zheng that Mo Rao and Gu Ci were together, Mo Yuan was extrely worried.
Although he knew that Gu Ci wouldn’t do anything to Mo Rao openly, there had been no news of Fu Ying recently, and Gu Ci kept getting closer to Mo Rao, making him worried.
Mo Yuan held the phone in his hand tightly. What on earth was Fu Ying doing?!
In the latter half of the night, Gu Ci sent Mo Rao safely to the entrance of the hotel.
“Are you still going back so late at night?” Mo Rao asked hesitantly when she saw Gu Ci’s actions.
Gu Ci, who was getting into the car, paused and said, “Yes, I still have sothing to deal with at the company tomorrow.”
Hearing this, Mo Rao subconsciously frowned and said reproachfully, “Didn’t I say that if you have sothing to do in the company, you should just go ahead?”
“It doesn’t delay work.”
After all, if he had not co to the production team this ti, he wouldn’t have known that soone was actually coveting Mo Rao.
Although this person didn’t seem to be a threat to him as much as Fu Ying was, he couldn’t let down his guard.
Mo Rao looked at Gu Ci helplessly. “Forget it this ti, but you can’t do this next ti.”
Gu Ci smiled but didn’t agree.
“We’ll talk about it when the ti cos.”
The two of them looked at each other for a while. In the end, Mo Rao was the first to admit defeat.
“Alright!” She said softly, “Be careful on the way back.”
Gu Ci smiled. “Don’t worry, with Jack around, nothing will happen.”
Mo Rao nodded and watched Gu Ci walk into the car. After the car with Gu Ci disappeared around the corner, Mo Rao retracted her gaze and turned to enter the hotel.
When she entered the room, she imdiately saw Mo Yuan sitting on the sofa and playing with his phone.
“Brother, why haven’t you returned to your room?”
Mo Yuan put away his phone and stood up to size up Mo Rao before explaining calmly, “As your brother, how can I go to bed before you return safe and sound?”
Especially when his sister was accompanied by Gu Ci, whose motives were unknown.
Mo Rao glanced at Mo Yuan helplessly. “Now that you’ve seen , can you go back to your room now?”
Mo Yuan nodded with a mock-serious expression. “I’ll go back to my room now.”
With that, before Mo Rao could chase him away, Mo Yuan stood up and left.
Standing in the corridor, Mo Yuan stared at the closed door and thought of Fu Ying again.
Fu Ying had already disappeared for a few days.
Only then did Mo Rao realize that when Fu Ying wasn’t around, she would think of him from ti to ti.
Previously, she hoped that Fu Ying could stay away from her. Now that her wish had been fulfilled, she actually wasn’t that happy.
