Chapter 313: Chapter 306

Outside the stadium, the crowd surged, the clamor deafening.

Emily Parker, supporting her pregnant belly, struggled through the crowded throng, sweat beading her forehead, as the security guard reached out to stop her.

“Ma’am, please show your ticket or work permit.”

The security guard looked her up and down, his gaze pausing at her bulging abdon, a frown furrowing his brow.

“I work for Carter Automotive, Emily Parker, and I have an urgent matter inside.”

The security guard shook his head.

“Sorry, ma’am, without a work permit or invitation letter, we cannot let you in.”

Just as Emily was about to explain further, there seed to be soone speaking behind her, she turned to look, and saw another guard stopping a middle-aged man. He also didn’t have a ticket or credentials, holding a phone, seemingly contacting soone.

Emily paused, then imdiately recognized him—the staff she had treated that day at the Magistrate’s Manor!

“Is that you?”

She tentatively called out.

The middle-aged man looked up, his gaze lingered on Emily’s face for a mont, then he showed a sudden realization,

“Little doctor?”

Emily nodded and quickly walked over,

“Are you here for the competition too?”

The man smiled and extended his hand.

“I forgot to introduce myself that day; my surna is Mason.”

“My surna is Parker.”

Emily also extended her hand and shook his.

Upon hearing Emily’s surna, Uncle Mason was slightly stunned, he scrutinized Emily a few more tis, anwhile, the people behind kept pushing forward. Uncle Mason saw Emily with her big belly, his gaze paused slightly, glancing at the crowd behind.

That stern look intimidated the nearby people enough that they subconsciously retreated.

Uncle Mason shielded Emily with one hand, slightly frowning,

“How co you’re alone? Where’s your family?”

“He’s inside; how about you? Alone too?”

“I’m here to watch a friend’s match, but unfortunately can’t reach him right now.”

Uncle Mason waved his mobile, his tone helpless.

Emily glanced at the ti, the race was about to start, she needed to get inside quickly.

She had a brainstorm, saying, “Uncle Mason, I can take you inside.”

Mr. Mason was sowhat surprised,

“You have a way?”

Emily swiftly took out her phone, scrolling through her email.

She suddenly rembered her other identity, “Deity Owen,” is a legendary designer in the racing world, and always received invitations for major events, though she was usually too busy to attend.

Soon, she found an email amid a mountain of unread ssages, the subject prominently stating: [International Formula Racing Competition·Special Guest].

She handed the phone to the guard, “Here’s the invitation.”

The guard glanced down, his attitude instantly becoming respectful,

“Please use the exclusive passage!”

Mr. Mason looked at Emily in surprise but did not ask further.

Emily smiled slightly,

“Let’s go, the race is about to start.”

On the other side, the stadium’s modification zone was filled with the pungent sll of motor oil mixed with the scent of burning tal.

Several engineers from Carter Automotive were half-kneeling beside a racing car, Carlos stood to the side, his suit pants stained with grease, Engineers were ticulously tweaking the engine paraters.

Faye Manor was wearing his racer suit, pacing back and forth, his voice tinged with urgency,

“Brother Carter, that guy from Imperial Motors bragged in the dia zone about betting a billion that we’d lose! This is outrageous!”

The crisp sound of the last screw being tightened echoed.

Carlos didn’t lift his head, “Let him be.”

His voice was deep and calm, seemingly unperturbed by the external clamor.

“Oh, isn’t this Young Master Carter?”

A sharp voice ca from behind.

Nick Young, surrounded by several people, swaggered over; his custom racing suit embroidered with the prominent Imperial Motors logo.

He intentionally kicked the tire of Carter Automotive’s racing car with the tip of his shoe, the clash of tal resounding conspicuously in the noisy repair zone.

“Tsk, Carlos, you’ve lost the Carter Family’s heir position and rebranded yourself as a chanic?”

Nick Young bent down, taunting Carlos by his ear,

“How much does Carter Automotive pay you? I’ll offer triple, co to Imperial Motors as a technical consultant.”

Faye Manor was flushed with anger, his fists clenched tightly.

Carlos didn’t even blink, continuing to adjust the dashboard.

Seeing Carlos ignore him, Nick Young sneered coldly, straightening up to glance around: “The cars from Carter Automotive are outdated.”

He deliberately raised his voice so the surrounding staff could hear,

“Imperial Motors’ new car is equipped with the latest turbo system, completely surpassing these antiques from Carter Automotive.”

His entourage erupted in laughter, so even fild Carlos repairing the car on the ground, sharing it on social dia.

Carlos finally paused his actions, slowly stood up.

He was a head taller than Nick Young, his gaze from above causing Nick Young to unconsciously step back half a pace.

“Done talking?”

Carlos’ voice was cold as ice,

“Then get lost.”

Nick Young’s face stiffened, then he flew into a rage out of embarrassnt: “Acting all superior! I want to see that wreck of yours—”

“If you’re betting, bet big.”

A clear female voice suddenly interrupted him.

The crowd turned to see Emily Parker approaching, a stranger middle-aged man trailing her.

Emily’s hair stuck to her cheeks with sweat, she walked straight to Nick Young,

“I’ll bet ten billion, dare you?”

The scene fell silent instantly.

Nick Young paused for two seconds, then burst into laughter,

“What does a pregnant woman want here? Carlos, your wife is braver than you!”

Faye Manor quickly pulled Emily aside, whispering,

“Sister-in-law! Don’t be rash, Imperial Motors has hired Nick Young, one of the world’s top three drivers, we’re…”

Emily pulled out a roll of blueprints from her eco bag, handing it to Carlos with his oily hands,

“Use this.”

As the blueprints unfolded, Carlos’ pupils constricted—the precisely milliter-adjusted modification paraters were unmistakably penned by the legendary “Deity Owen.”

“Ten billion, betting Carter Automotive’s car cos first.

“Emily pointed at Imperial Motors’ new car behind Nick Young,

“We will prove that Carter Automotive’s car is stronger than Imperial Motors’.”

Nick Young retained his composure,

“I hope so! When Carlos goes bankrupt, make sure your wife begs !”

His entourage let out sassy laughs, so even whistled at Emily’s pregnant belly.

Carlos’ eyes were cold,

In the distance, the big screen began broadcasting Imperial Motors’ new car’s promotional video, Nick Young made a victory gesture to the cara.

Nick Young’s crew also left.

“Sister-in-law, you were too impulsive this ti.”

Faye Manor scratched his head in anxiety.

Ten billion was no small sum.

“We have the blueprints.”

Emily wore a composed look.

“These blueprints are too difficult.”

An engineer took the blueprints, opened them to a look of utter distress.

The blueprints by “Deity Owen” are not sothing ordinary people can understand.
