As soon as the video call ended, Evan Palr’s face turned extrely grim, as if covered by a layer of frost.
He pressed his lips tightly together and went to handle the hospitalization procedures.
Carlos stood still, not saying a word, but he looked deeply at Emily Parker, his gaze complex and unreadable.
