Before that woman could touch Emily, Senior Sister Long stepped in and stopped her.
Emily recognized the woman.
“Genna Ross?”
The woman before her, eyes red and swollen from crying, was Genna Ross, the country woman who previously brought her child for acupuncture treatnt of a pituitary tumor.
Her son’s na was Tatum Jas.
“Wuwuwu, my poor child.
Why did you harm him?”
Genna Ross, with disheveled hair, cried out loudly in agitation.
Her cries alerted the patients visiting the small clinic.
“Genna Ross, are you being unreasonable?
Emily treated your son for free, how can you say she hard him?
You’re being ungrateful.”
“I also believed she genuinely wanted to save my son,
but my son suddenly vomited and fell into a coma last night.
I rushed him to the hospital, and the tumor in the scan had grown larger.
The doctor said there’s no hope for him.”
After her husband passed away, Genna Ross only had this one son. Saddened by the news from the hospital accusing Emily of harming her son, she ca to confront her.
“How is that possible? Emily’s acupuncture couldn’t possibly be ineffective.”
Senior Sister Long didn’t believe the other party’s words.
“I’ll go to the hospital and see first.”
Emily was also puzzled; her Plum Divine Needle should have no problems.
But Genna Ross didn’t seem like soone who would lie.
Emily imdiately called a taxi and supported Genna Ross to the hospital.
Senior Sister Long, feeling more uneasy, quickly called Carlos and closed the small clinic before rushing to Love & Kindness Hospital.
Upon arriving at Love & Kindness Hospital, Emily went directly to Tatum Jas’s ward.
On the hospital bed, Tatum Jas lay there, unconscious, his small head swollen and the situation not looking optimistic.
Emily obtained Tatum Jas’s scan.
Upon reviewing it, Emily discovered that the tumor in Tatum Jas’s brain had indeed enlarged and was pressing on so brain nerves.
Previously, Emily had confidence in controlling his brain tumor with acupuncture, but now, surgery was necessary.
“Ha~ Emily,
you’re actually daring enough to co to the hospital.”
Doctor Bennet, leading several nurses on rounds, sneered coldly upon seeing Emily.
Doctor Bennet had previously been suspended for a period due to Emily’s report on her taking red envelopes.
After the red envelope incident blew over, she returned to work.
Emily was still focused on examining the scan.
Doctor Bennet approached with a sneer and snatched the scan from Emily’s hands.
“Stop pretending there.
Do you even understand these scans?
In the past, Tatum Jas only needed to operate on him.

Genna Ross was so frightened she stopped crying; these were Tatum Jas’s uncles and aunts from his father’s side.
Emily rembered Genna Ross had ntioned that when Tatum was first diagnosed, not a single mber of the Jas family was willing to lend money and even avoided them.
However, upon hearing that Tatum was being treated in the Capital and showing signs of improvent, his aunt voluntarily ca to help look after him.
The Jas family, originally strong field workers from the countryside, rolled up their sleeves, ready to act.
Tatum Jas’s uncle lifted his fan-sized hand, ready to strike Emily.
A sharp glint flashed across Emily’s brow.
But the next mont, the man let out a painful cry.
His hand had been caught in a tight grip.
A tall figure suddenly stood in front of Emily.
Carlos, protecting Emily with one hand, grasped the man’s wrist with the other.
With a slight effort of his hand, a cracking sound emanated from the man’s wrist.
The man kneeled to the ground in pain.
Carlos’s bodyguards pressed the rest of the Jas family to the ground.
Worried about Emily going alone to Love & Kindness Hospital, Senior Sister Long had phoned Carlos.
Upon hearing, Carlos rushed over imdiately.
“Carlos, this is a hospital.
How dare you get physical here.”
Doctor Bennet was startled.
“Physical? I even got a bit more physical.”
With that, Carlos stepped forward and pressed his foot onto Tatum Jas’s uncle’s back.
“Carlos, do you think you’re helping Emily?
You’re only hurting her further.
If Tatum really doesn’t make it, Emily’s career is finished.
The only solution now is to ask Doctor Bennet to speak a good word and have the director perform the surgery for Tatum.”
In the crowd, Adam Willow, having just returned from the police station, ca forward.
He also just learned of Tatum’s incident.
Adam Willow had also reviewed the scan, knowing that for such a high-risk surgery, only Doctor Reed could perform it now.
Other doctors wouldn’t even have a ten percent chance.
Doctor Bennet stood to the side, looking at Emily with a mocking expression after hearing this.
“Doctor Willow, you don’t need to vouch for her.
My ntor is so busy, people are already scheduled months in advance for his surgeries.”
She wanted Emily to be notoriously disreputable in the dical community.
“This surgery isn’t only accessible to your ntor.”
Emily said deeply.

Beside her, Genna Ross suddenly knelt in front of Doctor Bennet with a thud.
“Doctor Bennet,
I beg you to save the child…”
With that, she knocked her head on the ground several tis in front of Doctor Bennet.
But Doctor Bennet looked on with disgust in her eyes, not acknowledging her at all.
Seeing this, Emily couldn’t help but clench her fists.
She couldn’t resist stepping forward.
