As the Old Master’s favored son-in-law, he needed to inform the Old Master about Carter Automotive’s situation in ti.
When Evan Palr arrived at Love & Kindness Hospital, he prepared to handle the Old Master’s transfer procedures.
Unexpectedly, as soon as he arrived, he found both Carlos and Emily Parker were already there.
The Old Master was muttering,
“Why do I have to be hospitalized for recovery?
There’s nothing wrong with my health.
If it weren’t for you two coming over today, I wouldn’t have agreed to this transfer.”
He was speaking when he saw Evan Palr approaching with bags full of nutritional supplents.

The Old Master’s health wasn’t as good as before, and he didn’t care about Carter Clan as much as before, but Carter Automotive was different; he had founded that automotive business himself.
It was like another child to him, and he cared deeply about it.
The secretary bowed his head promptly, looking scared to speak the truth.
“Speak.”
The Old Master shouted.
Then the secretary stamred,
“Old Master, please don’t get angry.
Vice President Palr didn’t want you to worry.
Recently, there was a mishap during the trial run of our new car at Carter Automotive, which caused so casualties, leading to a total halt in Carter Automotive’s stock price.

Emily glared at the secretary,
“Who allowed you to spout nonsense?”

the secretary, relying on Evan Palr’s backing, did not take Emily seriously.
“You still won’t admit you’re spreading lies.”
Emily then took out her phone, opened a stock app, and handed it to the Old Master,
“Grandpa, look.”
Evan Palr sneered from the side, Emily really did not know the severity.
