Chapter 71: Chapter 71: Help! What kind of outrageous actions are they taking?
“Sang Jiao, are you stupid or what? Getting shaky hands when banning heroes? Does Lu Ban need a ban? Are you that scared?” ng Wange fud at the sight of the third avatar in the ban slot.
Yao Hui was truly more of a hindrance than a help!
“I didn’t get shaky hands, I was supposed to ban Lu Ban. What are you going to do about it? Even short legs can be powerful, you know?”
Yao Hui retorted weakly, his voice lacking confidence. It wasn’t his first ti getting too nervous while playing gas with professional players, was it? He had accidentally clicked the wrong option.
“Oh yes, sure, getting thoroughly beaten in the early ga and struggling to develop can indeed be very impressive.”
Knowing that arguing further was pointless and that they needed to focus on the ga at hand, ng Wange couldn’t be bothered to continue the conversation with him.
...
After so discussion, both teams had finalized their lineups.
On Sang Qiao’s side: she played the marksman Gongsun Li; Si Chenli supported with Yao; Sang Shen was the mage Yixing; Sang Siyang jungled with Jing; and Little A was the top laner Ma Chao.
ng Wange’s side was composed of her as the mage Daji; Yao Hui supporting with Cai Wenji; Lin Weichen as the top laner Cheng Yaojin; and the other two professional players took the marksman Mark and jungler Lan.
Once the lineups were selected, it was clear that ng Wange’s side was at a disadvantage with a counterpicked marksman; Cheng Yaojin lacked burst damage, primarily because Lin Weichen was clueless about the ga, only able to randomly pick a tanky character good at pushing lanes.
“[Gasp], is ng Wange’s Daji playing with friends? Who can she one-shot in this ga?”]
“[Why is Brother Li playing Yao, haha? That’s just ridiculous!]”
“[Can Sang Qiao handle playing a counterpick to the enemy marksman? Gongsun Li requires skillful play. Don’t just die during a team fight without anyone noticing.]”
“[This ga feels like a real tragedy for Sister Qiao, facing professional picks, it’s like she’s heading straight to jail.]”
When the match started, Yao Hui imdiately went mid to leech experience, while Si Chenli awkwardly followed behind Sang Qiao.
“Mr. Si, why don’t you just leech experience with and hang around Sang Qiao’s head after you hit level four?” Sang Siyang smirked as he watched the scene.
He could tell that Mr. Si had probably never played this ga before, as even his movent was clumsy.
“No need, I’ll protect her,” Si Chen continued to follow Sang Qiao, not heading toward the jungle.
Not long after the match began, ng Wange’s Daji was ambushed mid by the mage and gave up first blood.
“How could you steal my kill?” Sang Shen joked.
“Tch, you have the nerve to say that,” Sang Siyang’s lips twitched. The damage to kill Daji had almost all been his; his older brother had rely taken the last hit with an ability.
As he spoke, he couldn’t help but pull up Qiaoqiao’s perspective and noticed that her controls were still pretty smooth. Despite struggling in the matchup, it was evident she had a certain level of skill.
In the following encounters, Sang Siyang virtually camped the top lane to gank the marksman, with the skirmishes going back and forth.
Slowly a gold gap was established between the teams, and they wrapped up with a victory in about ten minutes!
The second ga was a coback against the wind, and the third also ended in ten minutes!
Sang Qiao’s team won the match with a clean three to zero.
“[Damn, Sister Qiao’s got so slick moves. Though not the MVP, she still got her monts of glory every ga.]”
“[Yang God, forever divine—easily claiming the victory!]”
“[It’s just sad for the two professionals on ng Wange’s team. Even with forty percent of the team’s damage, they couldn’t carry those three. With Lin Weichen scoring zero kills and over ten deaths every ga, I’m speechless.]”
[Yeah yeah, I’m speechless, too. Can’t he just stay under the tower? Why does he have to keep feeding the enemy by going out?]
[The main issue is that ng Wangge’s skills are just too trash. The heroes she knows how to play aren’t great for coordination either, she doesn’t really have any quick bush ambush plays.]
“So, Sang Qiao’s team cos out on top, and next up is ng Wangge’s team versus Lu Tianxin’s team.”
“Do we even need to compete? It’s certain we’re gonna lose on this side.” Lu Tianxin scoffed, no longer wanting to play. They only had one professional player, plus Sang Jiao and Liang Laongyun, both noobs.
Obviously, they were going to be crushed. What’s the point of even playing?
“Tianxin, don’t be so down. Have a little confidence in yourself. Look, ng Wangge and her team are just as crappy, right?” The director sighed, trying to comfort her.
Sotis Lu Tianxin’s words were exactly what he felt, providing great topics for the production team. Other tis, he wanted to sew her mouth shut from frustration.
“Speaking of which, those three really are crappy. Maybe our team does have a chance.”
Lu Tianxin recalled the gaplay of ng Wangge’s team from the recent match and suddenly felt hopeful.
“Then, please have both teams take their seats and begin.”
[Even though what you say is true, isn’t it a bit harsh to say it without any regard for their feelings?]
[Hahaha, ng Wangge’s skills are so bad even dogs would shake their heads. That last team fight with the Flash into the enemies was really feeding.]
[And Lin Weichen’s Lu Ban using the ultimate as if he was swatting Peppa Pig’s family is hilarious.]
[Yao Hui isn’t any better, playing Zhong Kui and only hooking minions.]
Once both teams were seated, they discussed each person’s role, with ng Wangge’s team staying with their previous roles.
On Lu Tianxin’s side, she imdiately grabbed the mage role for herself, Gu Nanmo took the jungle, and Sang Jiao suggested supporting. The sole professional player had no choice but to take the ADC, forcing Liang ngyun to reluctantly play top lane.
The match started with Lu Tianxin’s Xiao Qiao directly clashing with ng Wangge’s Wang Zhaojun. Neither wanted to give in.
In the end, Xiao Qiao found herself outmatched and, with scarce health remaining, used Flash to make an escape. However, Wang Zhaojun’s basic attack had already followed, leading to Xiao Qiao’s neatly dying under her tower.
The announcent of “First Blood” thundered as if slapping Lu Tianxin’s face.
Lu Tianxin’s face turned sour, having been boastful just monts ago, only to be solo-killed now.
At the sa ti, news of Liang ngyun being solo-killed in the top lane ca through, and Gu Nanmo’s Sima Yi had been slain by the blue buff. This kill announcent left everyone dumbstruck.
No enemy was harassing the jungle, was the jungler…killed by the blue buff?
[Hahaha, soone help ! I’m going to die laughing on the spot. What is Lu Tianxin doing? Missing all her abilities is one thing, but seriously trying to out-hit Wang Zhaojun at level one?]
[I can’t stop laughing at that Flash. The enemy’s basic attack is already out, and you don’t just stand there to die, but you Flash back to your tower to die?]
[Lu Tianxin: Everyone wants to die comfortably under their own tower.]
[Gu Nanmo’s gaplay is absurdly bad; he plays the jungle as if he’s aiming for the wall, letting the blue buff disengage. He really can’t play jungle at all, where does he get the nerve to take that role?]
[Does he think every jungler can be as cool and carry the ga like Yang God?]
[Ripped, I can already see the ending.]
This ga was undoubtedly a one-versus-five for the professional player. Initially, the situation on both sides wasn’t much different.
That is until the Dragon King’s fight, where Lu Tianxin and Gu Nanmo were instantly taken down in the bush, allowing ng Wangge’s team to take the win with a swift strike!
