"Fine, I’ll let you off this ti, but don’t do this again, okay?" Mr. Sang Senior’s gaze shifted uncomfortably away.
"Uh-huh, got it." Sang Qingran nodded in agreent, aware that his performance on blind dates was never good.
"Right, what about that thing I ntioned last ti?" Mr. Sang Senior asked, his face slightly uneasy, as if he was very keen on having that rebellious grandson return.
"Nanfeng said he’s sorry to our family and he won’t co back, he doesn’t have the face to see you."
Only then did Sang Qingran rember this matter, having been so busy recently that he had completely forgotten about it.
"Is he doing this on purpose, trying to snub us so we’ll go fetch him back?" Mr. Sang Senior’s face darkened instantly, having never seen Nanfeng display such backbone before.
"No, he seems truly remorseful. If you really miss him, I can bring him back next ti."
Sang Qingran was clear on how he could persuade Nanfeng to return, but before he had figured out whether Grandpa truly wanted Nanfeng back, he preferred not to say anything.
After all, having soone like Sang Nanfeng return ho might not be a good thing. He claims to have changed, but who knows how long it will last.
"Why would I miss him? If he doesn’t want to co back, what do I care?" Mr. Sang Senior deliberately hardened his expression.
"Sure, I understand." Sang Qingran imdiately had his answer.
"What do you understand?"
"Nothing, I’m going to head back now. If there’s anything, just give a call," Sang Qingran bid farewell and then turned to leave.
Mr. Sang Senior sat on the sofa, looking beside him at Sang Shen, realizing this ho might only retain this child.
"Grandpa, if you really miss big brother, just let him co back, but he must sincerely apologize and do sothing to make ands first," Sang Shen said, despite his aversion to his older brother, not wanting Grandpa to be too upset or have any worries and regrets.
"How should he apologize, do you think?" Mr. Sang Senior looked at his grandson with interest.
"At the very least, he should work as a servant for us, do more chores, and write daily reflections, accumulating at least seven to eighty-nine thousand words," Sang Shen said earnestly.
It was the harshest punishnt he could think of that wouldn’t physically hurt Sang Nanfeng, so Grandpa wouldn’t feel pained, simply perfect.
"You are quite the scher, aren’t you?"
"That’s right, so if big brother really cos back, leave him to . I’ll make sure he learns his lesson!"
"Okay, if he cos back, I’ll leave him in your hands," Mr. Sang Senior said with a smile on his face.
"Mm-hmm." Sang Shen was actually curious to see if Sang Nanfeng would really return.
After all, returning would an swallowing his pride, and for soone who valued face so much, it was bound to be difficult.

Ti flew by, and in the blink of an eye, it was the day Si Chenli was discharged from the hospital. The bandages on his face could be removed, and when his face was revealed, Mrs. Si and Sang Qiao were stunned.
They hadn’t seen this familiar face for over five years, and seeing it again brought a wave of emotion strong enough to bring tears to their eyes.
"Does it not look right?" Si Chenli, seeing the two speechless people, frowned. Was it because he had been wearing soone else’s face too long that the results of the reconstruction were not as expected?
"No, it’s the sa face as before." Sang Qiao smiled through moist eyes.
Mrs. Si wiped the area around her eyes, "It looks exactly the sa as before."
"Daddy is so handso." Though Si Tiantian didn’t know what her dad looked like before, he really looked good after the bandages were removed.
Even better than the muscular hunks she’d seen on posters before.
"That’s a relief." Si Chenli finally felt assured; he hadn’t even seen his own face yet. Since he’d been wearing Bai Yiwen’s face, he’d almost forgotten what he used to look like.
"We’ve packed everything; let’s head back first and talk more later."
"Okay."
The family got into the car to head back, and upon arrival at the Si Mansion, Si Tiantian marched ahead with her grandmother.
Trailing behind, Si Chenli held Sang Qiao’s hand, their fingers intertwined for the first ti in many years.
As the group neared the mansion, the entire Si Family was present, having stayed ho specially to wait for them.
When Father Si and the others caught sight of Si Chenli coming from behind, they couldn’t help but have red-rimd eyes.
"Child, you’ve suffered, our family has finally pulled through," Old Madam Si said sympathetically. Both of her grandsons had endured hardship.
But thankfully, they had persevered. They weren’t asking for things to constantly improve, only that everything would go smoothly from now on.
"Yes, things will definitely get better and better. Si Jing’s recovery is going really well too. The doctor said he was completely healed when we went for a checkup a few days ago."
Father Si couldn’t help but feel a surge of sorrow as he spoke; thankfully, things were looking up now. Otherwise, despite Si Jing acting carefree, who knew how much he truly cared inside.
"Good, good, good. We must cook a big feast tonight and celebrate properly."
"Absolutely!"
Tonight, the atmosphere of the Si Family was entirely enveloped in joy, with a variety of delicious dishes on the dinner table.
As Si Chenli ate, he would occasionally glance at Sang Qiao. He had regained his mory and was no longer the person who was too afraid to speak up.
After dinner, everyone watched TV in the living room for a while.
When ten o’clock struck, Sang Qiao planned to go upstairs to rest. Rubbing her eyes, Si Tiantian also claid to be sleepy, "Mom, I want to sleep with you tonight."
Si Tiantian, barely able to keep her eyes open, had forgotten about the earlier agreent made at the office to let her dad sleep with mom too, so he could tell her a story.
"Go to sleep yourself. It’s been nearly twenty days since you last heard a horror story; you should not be scared anymore."
Si Chenli’s voice was low as he unsympathetically spoke to his daughter.
"No, I’m sleepy," Si Tiantian murmured. Since she was three, she had been able to sleep with her mother.
"I have to move back as well." Si Chenli then turned to look at Sang Qiao.
"... How about you make do for one more night and I’ll talk to Tiantian about it tomorrow?"
Sang Qiao thought of her small bed and felt a headache coming on. It was going to be quite cramped with three people, and she had gotten used to the freedom of rolling around in a large space.
"No, that won’t do, Qiaoqiao. I miss you so much," Si Chenli said, his dark eyes gazing at Sang Qiao with a hint of determination.
"Alright, bring your pillow and blanket over," Sang Qiao reluctantly compromised. She didn’t have the heart to make Ah Li upset. They could squeeze in for now, and in a few days, she’d arrange for a bigger bed to be prepared.
"Okay." Si Chenli quickly strode to the bedroom to fetch his pillow and blanket.
Si Tiantian followed her mother, unconcerned about the room becoming crowded. She, too, longed to sleep with both her dad and mom.
