Chapter 323: Chapter 323: Sang Qiao: Yes, can’t go back anymore
“Seeing the two children finally together makes so happy,” Old Madam Si couldn’t help but tear up; she had watched over them all this ti.
She knew how much the cancellation of the last wedding hurt her grandson.
But when she thought about the bodyguard she sent returning with news that several Sang elders had been taken away, she was reassured.
After all, the second wedding could not be allowed to be ruined again.
“I’m happy too,” Old Sir Si was now completely supportive of the two children being together, especially after the scare from the last canceled wedding.
On the stage
Shangguan Yuan held ng Jiahe’s hand tightly, gazing at her with focus, “Ah He, I will treat you well for a lifeti.”
“Mmm,” ng Jiahe lowered her head, feeling light and dizzy, having spent almost the entire day in the car, running around here and there.
Next to them, Si Chenli was also holding hands tightly with Sang Qiao, exchanging firm looks and smiles.
The sight of the two couples holding hands drew applause from the audience below.
In an inconspicuous corner, Shangguan Lin’s gaze was on the stage; his lips twitched as he tried to escape, not wanting to witness Qiaoqiao’s wedding.
But the more he tried to avoid sothing, the more unavoidable it beca; it was his own brother’s wedding, and he couldn’t not attend.
Shangguan’s parents were also sitting at the dining table. When they noticed their son’s disappearance, they imdiately stood up to look for him, “Lin, why aren’t you sitting at the table? What are you doing standing here alone?”
“Nothing much, just looking at the scenery,” Shangguan Lin’s gaze was outside, his vision a bit blurred.
He was increasingly finding it hard to enjoy life.
“Alright, then co back to your seat soon after you’re done looking. Your brother is getting married now, and you’re not getting any younger either,” Mrs. Shangguan patted her son’s shoulder.
She didn’t pressure her children to do anything specific, but as a parent, she occasionally expressed concerns.
“Okay,” Shangguan Lin numbly nodded, knowing only to himself that he wouldn’t be bringing a girl ho anymore. His beloved was here, right now, marrying soone else.
But these were things he couldn’t share with his parents; revealing them would only bring sorrow.
At the end of the wedding
Shangguan Yuan took ng Jiahe back ho, while Si Chenli and Sang Qiao’s ho was in the opposite direction.
They had already had one wedding; this ti, Sang Qiao was still very calm, just like a make-up ceremony, showing no particular emotion.
Si Chenli seed much more nervous; it took him nearly an hour to wash up in the bathroom.
This was considerably more effort compared to the previous half-hour.
“Why are you taking so long in the bathroom?” Sang Qiao was worried he was unwell to stay so long since he usually took no more than half an hour.
Today it had been a whole hour!
“…Yeah,” Si Chenli gently responded, realizing only then that his seriousness had prolonged the ti.
Sang Qiao examined the man, and seeing that he looked normal, didn’t think much of it. She quickly went into the bathroom to wash up, changed into her pajamas, and lay down in bed.
She felt groggy, unusually sleepy lately despite it being just nine o’clock in the evening. Normally, although she went to bed on ti, she wouldn’t feel sleepy so early.
“Shall we go on a honeymoon?” Si Chenli reached out and drew her close, letting her lean on his shoulder.
“Let’s postpone it, we just went on a trip recently,” Sang Qiao replied drowsily without even opening her eyes.
“Alright, then I have to go on a trip tomorrow to sign a contract,” Si Chenli said, gently resting his chin on the young girl’s head.
“Mmm,” Sang Qiao responded nonchalantly, already half-asleep.
She could only instinctively respond in her sleep, though she was actually already asleep.
“Call anyti if you need sothing.”
“Mhm.”
Si Chenli looked at the woman in his arms, his heart softened into a ball, and they had completed all the processes of being together — Qiaoqiao truly belonged to him now.
His lips curled up, he closed his eyes, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Sang Qiao got up a bit late the next day; the warmth beside the bed had already cooled, and Si Chenli had clearly been gone for a while. She reached for the cellphone on the bedside table to check the ti and found it was already ten in the morning.
The first ssage on her phone was from Si Chenli.
Chenli: “I’m heading out for a contract discussion, I won’t be back for about three days.”
Qiaoqiao is sleepy: “Okay.”
After replying to the ssage, Sang Qiao got up from the bed, washed up, and went to the company.
When she arrived at the company, she asked and found out that Sister Ah He hadn’t arrived yet. “Did she take a leave today?”
“Sister Ah He didn’t fill out a leave form,” the receptionist said tactfully. Sister Ah He was probably running late, but as a vice president, she didn’t need to clock in, so being late was not a big issue.
But not filling out a leave form would be more convenient for the people below to handle the work.
“Mm, I see,” Sang Qiao nodded lightly and then hastened her steps upstairs.
Sleeping in on the first day of a new marriage was understandable.
Sang Qiao hadn’t gone far when a security guard suddenly rushed over from behind.
“Sister Qiao, there are people from the Sang Family outside looking for you. They said they won’t make a fuss; just want to see you and will leave. They won’t pursue yesterday’s incident.”
“Mm.” Sang Qiao could pretty much guess who it was. This ti, she didn’t imdiately send them away but quickened her pace, following the security guard outside.
As soon as she stepped out of the company’s main entrance, she saw those three tall n.
Sang Siyang approached first, holding a gift box in his hands, “Happy marriage. You didn’t want us there, so we didn’t go, and we won’t bla you.”
“Qiaoqiao, please don’t lump us together with eldest brother, okay? I won’t hurt you, I will never ruin your happiness, I can guarantee it with my life.”
Sang Shen, too, held a gift box, struggling to hold back the tears in his eyes.
It was impossible not to feel sad. It was Qiaoqiao who didn’t trust them, not even letting them attend the wedding, rather than Si Chenli…
“Happy marriage, one for you and one for Ah He.” Sang Qingran’s two gift boxes were identical, without any bias.
It seed in his eyes, Ah He was just like Qiaoqiao to him, both his sisters.
“Mm, you all can go now, take the gifts back.” Sang Qiao didn’t reach out to take them; she was willing to co out to hear how they intended to pursue yesterday’s matter.
Settling privately or officially both worked, instead of saying so aningless words.
“Qiaoqiao, please take the gifts,” Sang Siyang tried to persuade her again.
“Donate them, giving them to is just throwing them away; it’s a waste,” Sang Qiao said calmly, her tone no longer as cold and distant as before.
But it was even more heartless than before, at least previously she would take them and throw them in the trash, and now she wouldn’t even take them.
“Qiaoqiao, can we really never go back? Do you really not acknowledge us brothers anymore?” Sang Shen felt choked up, panic-stricken with discomfort.
“Yes, I hope we can be like strangers,” Sang Qiao nodded, her eyes clear and calm.
