Jiang Chaoyuan at this mont just wanted to play a song, “Human joys and sorrows do not communicate.”
He: “…”
But no one could understand his sorrow, he had barely lazed on the sofa for ten minutes before he was forced to head out to work.
Liao Liao was relieved to see he still took the initiative to work, “Good luck!”

Starlight Entertainnt
Sang Nanfeng sat in his office chair, looking at the docunts his subordinate had brought in. Lu Jiao and her father’s newly founded company had already recruited several popular young actors.
“Mr. Sang, we have recently invested in a script and the casting includes people from Rose Entertainnt as well as your father’s company. Should we give the role directly to soone from Rose Entertainnt and eliminate your father’s candidates?”
His assistant reported other findings in his hand, already aware of Mr. Sang’s concern for his sister, so he inford him of this developnt at the earliest.
“No need; let’s see who gets the role. If the person from Rose Entertainnt gets eliminated, you go negotiate directly with the director to give it to them, and make sure to announce it officially.”
Sang Nanfeng tossed the file onto the desk; he was no longer interested in being the kind that does good deeds anonymously.
His contributions, he wanted Sang Qiao to see.
The assistant respectfully said, “Yes, but what if the person from Rose Entertainnt secures the role?”
Sang Nanfeng’s displeased gaze turned towards him, his voice unconsciously cooling.
“Do I still need to teach you what to do? I want the final result to be that the role was secured by soone from Rose Entertainnt because of , understand?”
“I understand, I’ll handle it imdiately,” the assistant hurriedly replied, then exited the room.
The office was suddenly left with only Sang Nanfeng, who turned to look out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the towering skyscrapers. Below, cars crowded densely like ants.
The Rose Entertainnt building seed only a few blocks away.
Yet, the distance he had to bridge seed forever insurmountable, unlike his younger brothers who could humble themselves to the dust; he wasn’t like them.
It seed he had done everything, yet accomplished nothing; he could only be a bit selfish.
Creating his own contributions, Qiaoqiao would eventually see.
“Ding-dong~”
Sang Nanfeng glanced at his phone as it chid. He stretched out his hand to check it.
Dad: [Nanfeng, thank you for sending those artists over recently. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone else. Also, could you please help with sothing? It’s about the script your company recently invested in; could you arrange a role for one of our artists?]
Sang Nanfeng: [Don’t overreach. Don’t contact again, or I’ll take back those artists.]
After replying, Sang Nanfeng shut off his phone. His father still thought he truly wanted to help him, which was laughable.
He rely wanted Sang Zheng and Lu Jiao’s company to grow big, to beco an adversary of Rose Entertainnt.
Then… Qiaoqiao would need him. They could join forces as a family.
Across the screen, Sang Zheng, having received this cold ssage, clenched his teeth in anger.
“Really, my good son, even a small favor is given so reluctantly!”
“Dad, you should realize that if Nanfeng is willing to help you, it’s definitely because it’s linked to Sang Qiao. You’re reaching out to him without any clear reason and without offering him any benefits, why would he agree?”
Lu Jiao spoke suggestively, if there was anyone amongst her brothers that was best to manipulate, it undoubtedly had to be Sang Nanfeng, who easily harbored jealousy.
Then Sang Shen, who valued loyalty and righteousness too much, otherwise he wouldn’t have mistook her intentions and cared so much about her.
As for Sang Qingran and Sang Siyang, they were too shrewd, hard to persuade, it was best not to let them know.
“You’re right.” Sang Zheng started contemplating deeply, figuring out how to maximize the benefits.

Jiangcheng City Third Hospital
ng Jiahe supported Shangguan Yuan out of the hospital room, feeling incredibly guilty, she knew she was in the wrong and dared not speak.
“Why didn’t you stop when I told you not to run?” Shangguan Yuan began to doubt whether his decision to let this woman compensate and take care of him was a mistake.
In the few days she spent at his house, everything was a ss. His suit was ruined beyond repair, and the sofa had a big burn hole.
Now, she was directly injured, thankfully the wound wasn’t deep, otherwise, he might not be able to walk for days.
“I… I didn’t know sothing was falling; I thought you were grabbing my chips.”
ng Jiahe’s tone this ti lacked the previous confidence.
“… Who cares about your chips?” Shangguan Yuan’s lips twitched, unsure what else to say about her.
“How about I hire a caretaker for you? I really can’t take care of people, I feel like I’m just making things worse for you,” ng Jiahe looked seriously concerned.
“It’s good you realize that. Be more attentive from now on, there’s no need for a caretaker. People must bear the consequences for their own mistakes.”
ng Jiahe: “…” Her logic seed sound, yet sothing felt amiss.
The two conversed amicably, their wrists intertwined entirely within Sang Qingran’s sight. He deliberately ignored that brewing feeling, his heart uncomfortably distressed.
How could ng Jiahe so quickly take a liking to another person to the point of visiting the hospital together? They appeared so well-matched, endlessly chatting, surely having nurous topics in common.
It hadn’t been long…
He thought he didn’t like ng Jia, thought that if she stayed far from him, he could quickly move on.
“Qingran, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to treat to dinner after work?”
Suddenly, a man approached from behind, patting his shoulder.
“Waiting for you.” Sang Qingran quickly adjusted his emotions and withdrew his gaze.
His senior, noticing the slight shock in his deanor, felt that sothing was off.
“Really waiting for ? Why do you look so sad? Others wouldn’t know and might think sothing was wrong with .”
“Enough talk, are we eating or not?” Sang Qingran started walking ahead.
Yet, his gaze involuntarily drifted to the other side. ng Jiahe and that man had walked a good distance away, still engaged in conversation. What could they possibly have so much to talk about?
“Are you checking out so beauty?” his senior noticed Qingran’s gaze.
“No.”
“Qingran, is there sothing you can’t tell , that you need to hide?”
His senior’s words made Sang Qingran close his mouth, dodging the topic.
In the end, his senior gave up on probing further, only sighing, “Look at you, how pitiful, only I keep you company and yet you’re always throwing your temper at , unappreciative!”
“I’m not an orphan,” Sang Qingran glanced back, his voice cold.
“… You’re misunderstanding my point! By the way, your fourth brother Siyang ca by yesterday asking about you, told to take good care of you. Really thoughtful, tsk.”
