Chapter 206: Chapter 206: He Ca Looking
The remaining three Sang brothers exchanged glances and eventually abandoned the foolish idea.
Before, they had doubted Qiaoqiao based on other people’s few words and never sought her out to ask her directly. This ti, however, they were determined to find her no matter what.
If she ran into trouble, they would help her terminate her contract. If she fell in love with soone else, they would help her chase after the man and protect her from being hurt by Si Chenli.

On the empty top-floor corridor of a hospital, Shangguan Lin, wearing a white lab coat and carrying a lunchbox, walked slowly towards one of the wards.
He stood at the door, staring at the young girl on the bed, her face pale and her sleeping expression peaceful, without even blinking.
In the past, any slight noise in the room would have alerted Sang Qiao, let alone him standing there for so long, yet she continued to sleep deeply.
After an unknown period of ti, Shangguan Lin finally stepped inside, placed the lunchbox on the table, opened it, and gently pushed Sang Qiao’s wrist.
“It’s ti to eat.”
The girl on the bed, her face sickly pale, blinked her curled eyelashes. She rubbed her eyes and took a while before finally opening them.
Her gaze was sowhat hazy as she looked at him, “Have I slept for a long ti?”
“Yes, quite a long ti,” Shangguan Lin handed her the spoon and gestured for her to hold it.
Sang Qiao sat up, instinctively took the spoon, and started eating the nutritious porridge from the lunchbox, which tasted like wax.
She ate wearily, lacking much energy, extrely tired, wanting to continue sleeping, and felt stiflingly breathless.
“I’ll continue to conceal your current condition and ensure no one can find your dical records or location, but these past few days, no one has co looking for you.”
Shangguan Lin’s amber eyes glanced down, settling on the top of her head, not sure why he added the last sentence.
Not having seen Sang Qiao for so many years, he missed her, and equally, he couldn’t leave as there were too many patients in need of his care every day.
Being here ant he could potentially save many lives every day. Even upon hearing that Sang Qiao was with soone else, he never hoped for her to return here unless she ca specifically for him rather than being in her current sickly state.
“Did Si Chenli reply?” Sang Qiao’s hand, holding the spoon, tightened unconsciously.
“No,” Shangguan Lin replied, expecting to see her look dejected.
But Sang Qiao didn’t; she simply responded quietly, “Hmm.”
As if indifferent to Si Chenli, only Shangguan Lin knew that if she truly didn’t care, she wouldn’t have asked.
“Sang Qiao, if you want to see him, get well soon. I’ll do my best to save you.”
“I know.”
“After eating, let the caretaker take you out for a walk. I have a surgery soon and will co to see you when I’m free.”
“Okay.”
Shangguan Lin walked out of the ward and, when going downstairs, bumped into Shangguan Yuan rushing upstairs.
His chest hurt from the impact, and he unconsciously furrowed his brow, “What’s the hurry?”
“Brother, it’s good you’re here. There’s a man downstairs looking for Sang Qiao, and he seems to know too. The front desk told him that there’s nobody called Sang Qiao in our hospital, but he doesn’t believe it. He wants to search room by room. The security guards can’t stop him, and they’re also afraid of hurting him. I was just going to ask Sang Qiao if she wants to see him.”
“Do you know his na?” Shangguan Lin asked, his hands in his pockets and his brow slightly furrowed, as he subconsciously rembered the man Sang Qiao cared about.
“I forgot to ask, but seeing how much he cares about Sang Qiao, I guess he must be important to her, handso and dignified too.”
Shangguan Yuan racked his brains but ca up with only a few disordered sentences, and that man had just been there with reddened eyes, demanding to see Sang Qiao. He almost thought the man harbored so deep animosity towards him.
But when he had pleaded, there was a pitiable ekness and helplessness about him.
“There’s no need to tell Sang Qiao. I’ll handle this matter.”
“But…”
“There’s no ‘but,'” Sang Qiao had already ntioned hiding all her information, not allowing anyone to track her.” Shangguan Lin, as an older brother, still wielded an oppressive authority when he spoke sternly.
Shangguan Yuan instinctively compromised, “Alright, then I won’t say anything.”
When Shangguan Lin stepped downstairs, he saw at the entrance of the lobby a man causing a disturbance, as if he was sure that Sang Qiao was in their hospital.
That’s understandable, after all, guessing that Sang Qiao had an incident, it’s also logical they would co to the sa hospital as last ti.
When Shangguan Lin reached the chaotic scene, a young nurse, as if seeing hope, hurriedly reported, “Doctor L, it’s good you’re here. That man over there insists on seeing a patient nad Sang Qiao, but we don’t have such a person in our hospital.”
“It’s fine, everyone go back to your duties, I’ll talk to him.”
When Sang Siyang heard the three words “Doctor L,” his gaze subconsciously shifted; this doctor was Qiaoqiao’s attending physician the last ti, he couldn’t be clearer.
Sang Siyang supported himself off the ground and stood up, his tone urgent:
“You’re Doctor L, right? Qiaoqiao must be here, right? I just want to see her for a mont. If she’s fine, I’ll leave right away, I won’t disturb or tell her, making things difficult for you. Is that okay?”
“Let’s talk outside at the entrance.” Shangguan Lin lifted his hand to check the ti on his watch, ten minutes to spare, there was enough ti.
“Okay.” Sang Siyang followed eagerly, a surge of excitent in his heart.
“Sang Qiao has no hope of recovery. She has set her will and left.”
Shangguan Lin slowly began speaking. He was, after all, an angel in a white coat, but the words he spoke made Sang Siyang’s fingertips tremble.
Sang Siyang tugged at the corner of his mouth, displaying a smile uglier than crying, “You’re lying, right? If she doesn’t want to see , then I won’t see her. Don’t create such cruel lies to deceive .”
“I’m not lying to you, one of the items is the transfer of Rose Entertainnt to ng Jiahe.”
Shangguan Lin was indeed telling the truth, except that the will would only take effect after Sang Qiao’s death.
He didn’t want anyone to disturb the treatnt process; that was also Sang Qiao’s wish.
He was selfish just this once in his life; he didn’t want to see Sang Qiao and this man in love. During this ti, he wanted to stay by Sang Qiao’s side.
Sang Siyang seed to hear the sound of his heart breaking. His lips trembled, and tears unrelentingly rolled down as he stuttered, “…How can she have no hope of recovery? Wasn’t it treatable last ti?”
Shangguan Lin hadn’t expected Sang Qiao’s forr boyfriend to cry like this.
The proud heir to the Si Family, caring so much about a woman, truly surprised him.
“This ti is different from the last. I have a surgery to perform soon, and I need to hold the scalpel. You do as you please. I’ve told you what needed to be said, don’t cause any more trouble.”
Sang Siyang, not sure why, struggled to ask: “Wait… I want to know, besides ng Jiahe, who else is ntioned in Sang Qiao’s will?”
