Luke Gardiner nodded, his eyes filled with anticipation, "Try it."

A skewer of charred at, Florence Fuller couldn’t find a spot that seed edible, she scanned it up and down, hesitating greatly.

Luke Gardiner seed to notice her hesitation, "Just have a taste, see how it is."

Florence Fuller ntally prepared herself, then took a small bite from the top.

She chewed with a frown, and Luke Gardiner reached over to take the skewer from her, "How is it?"

Florence Fuller nodded, "It’s... it’s alright."

Luke Gardiner looked at it and took a bite.

His expression turned serious and then gradually relaxed, "It’s alright. But maybe not eat anymore."

The old man over there restarted the grill, and Luke went over to him.

Florence Fuller spat out the tiny piece of at from her mouth.

She couldn’t taste anything.

After another ten minutes, Luke brought over another skewer, properly charcoal-grilled this ti, and handed it to her, "Grilled with Grandpa’s guidance."

Florence Fuller took a bite, "Mm, so much better than before."

Luke Gardiner: "..."

Old Mr. Gardiner happened to walk over and hear this remark, "See, this boy just won’t listen to ."

"Alright, Grandpa," Luke Gardiner said, sitting down at the table, "Let’s eat."

"Let have a taste of the skewers I grilled."

Luke Gardiner handed it over, "No more than two skewers, can’t eat too much."

"I’m just tasting."

Old Mr. Gardiner tasted it and nodded with satisfaction, "After all these years, the skill is still there."

Luke Gardiner chuckled, "You better watch out for Grandma coming after you tonight."

Old Mr. Gardiner glared at him.

Florence Fuller munching on a skewer, "Grandpa, you didn’t learn this grilling when you were young, did you?"

"Well, no," Old Mr. Gardiner squinted, "I just picked it up naturally."

Florence Fuller: "..."

Old Mr. Gardiner coughed lightly, "Since the weather’s nice today, let tell you about so big things I did when I was young."

At the end of the month, Florence Fuller returned to SJ for Chloe Quinn’s wedding.

The wedding was grand, with many guests.

Charles Shaw was outside dealing with the guests, and Evelyn Shaw was ready in the bridal preparation room.

The wedding dress was custom-made by an NQ designer, exquisite and glamorous, undoubtedly making her the most beautiful presence today.

"The fruits you had sent to last ti were exceptionally delicious," Chloe Quinn recalled at the sight of the fruit platter before her, "Is that farm really so good?"

"Everything you could want is there. According to Luke’s Grandpa, it was originally private land, then developed into a farming industry."

"Next ti I’ll visit with my brother too," Chloe Quinn chuckled, looking at her, "When are you finally going to call sister-in-law?"

Florence Fuller handed her the arranged bouquet, "It’s about ti, we should get going, sister-in-law!"

Chloe Quinn blushed and laughed, "Oh my, such sweet words, it sounds lovely hearing you call sister-in-law."

Florence Fuller couldn’t help but laugh at her pretentious expression.

"Sister-in-law, are you ready?" Evelyn Shaw joined them, "We can prepare to enter now."

Evelyn Shaw and Florence Fuller’s dresses were the sa, both prepared by Chloe Quinn, elegant and gentle.

Chloe Quinn was handed over to her father to wait outside, and Florence Fuller and Evelyn Shaw went inside to find Alia Linney.

Alia Linney’s spot was not crowded, reserved for her; dressed up for the special day, her brows carried joy.

Florence Fuller watched the wedding ceremony intently, and suddenly, her hand was held by soone, she glanced sideways and t Ethan Harper’s gaze.

Ethan Harper smiled at her.

Florence Fuller didn’t speak, nor did she withdraw her hand, both watched the entire wedding ceremony seriously.

The wedding ceremony ended smoothly, and Florence Fuller and Evelyn Shaw went to the bridal preparation room to find Chloe Quinn.

Ethan Harper knew and did not hold her back as he let go of her hand.

Chloe Quinn split her bouquet into two, giving one part to Florence Fuller and keeping the other for herself.

Florence Fuller sniffed the bouquet in her hand happily, "Even after I got married, there’s still one."

Chloe Quinn glanced at her, her eyes seed to say, don’t you know what kind of marriage you have?

Florence Fuller raised her eyebrows, "Thanks."

With Charles Shaw handling the guests, Chloe Quinn didn’t have to rush downstairs or visit the tables to toast, it was enough to make an appearance at the right ti.

The three stayed a while longer in the preparation room, Chloe Quinn changed into another dress and together they went downstairs.

As they stepped out, they ran into Charles Shaw coming over.

Charles Shaw was there to escort Chloe Quinn down, and in the elevator, he glanced at Florence Fuller, "Florence, that person is here."

"Who?" Florence was puzzled, "Ethan Harper?"

"No!" Charles Shaw replied, "Mr. Gardiner."

Florence Fuller froze, "I didn’t give him an invitation."

"With the Gardiner Family, invitation or not, he’ll co," Chloe Quinn remarked, "With him here, my wedding will certainly be lively."

To have the heir of the Gardiner Clan attend, what a privilege for Chloe Quinn’s wedding.

"He didn’t cause any trouble, did he?" Florence Fuller was a little worried.

"No," Charles Shaw reassured her, "He just attended the wedding normally, when I went up and saw him, he was chatting with others and asked where you were."

Florence Fuller hadn’t ntioned Chloe Quinn’s wedding to Luke Gardiner, how did he find out about it, especially since Gardiner Clan’s connection with NQ wasn’t very close...

"Don’t overthink it, as long as he’s not causing any issues, having him here is beneficial," Chloe Quinn said as the elevator reached the floor.

Florence Fuller agreed.

The wedding banquet was bustling with people coming and going.

Florence Fuller checked in on Alia Linney, chatting with Chloe Quinn’s mother in the resting area.

She searched the crowd for Chloe Quinn and Charles Shaw’s presence, and suddenly, locked eyes with Luke Gardiner.

Luke Gardiner noticed her, spoke to those around him, and walked straight over.

The people chatting with him followed his gaze. Luke Gardiner reached Florence Fuller’s side, "Hurried back from the farm for this wedding two days ago."

"Yeah."

Luke Gardiner smiled, eyes scanning her, "You look beautiful today."

Florence Fuller glanced at him, "Why did you co?"

"With so many people, if you’re here, I have to be here," Luke Gardiner said, glancing around the banquet, "Besides, with here, everyone knows the wedding’s main people know the Gardiner Family."

"Then thank you," Florence Fuller said flatly.

"You’re welco," Luke Gardiner replied, his hand lightly tapping the glass she held.

Florence Fuller searched the crowd but didn’t see Ethan Harper, feeling a bit disoriented. Luke Gardiner noticed, "Who are you looking for?"

"Looking for the bride."

"Her husband is with her, why worry?" Luke Gardiner leaned closer, whispering in her ear, "I heard the bride is pregnant, is that true?"
