After Divorcing the Tycoon, I Married into a Wealthy Family Again Chapter 126: Memories (26)
The classmates in the room turned their eyes, not expecting excitent on the first day of class.
Florence Fuller lifted her gaze and looked at Andrew Sorset quietly, saying word by word, "I! Am! Not!"
Andrew’s breathing beca heavy, his upper body heaving as he gritted his teeth and glared, grabbing Florence’s clothes with one hand and yanking: "You are! Your dad showed your photo, he said you’re supposed to marry !"
Florence punched directly, and before Andrew could react, she kicked him hard in the chest, sending him to the ground. Those who usually protected him at school quickly reacted and shielded Andrew.
Florence stood up, coldly staring at the person on the ground: "Don’t bother again!"
"Class is about to start, the teacher is coming," soone shouted.
The two people took Andrew out of the classroom.
Michael Fuller’s phone call ca quicker than Florence expected, the teacher lecturing while her phone kept displaying an incoming call on her desk.
Once the class ended, Florence returned the call.
"You brat!" Michael’s fury was palpable even through the phone: "What on earth are you doing!"
Florence just laughed softly.
"You better get back here imdiately!" Michael roared on the other end: "Look at the ss you’ve made."
"I just hit a boy who was harassing ," Florence replied calmly: "It’s not a cri, nor is it bad, right?"
"Harassing you," Michael shouted: "He is your fiancé!"
"What kind of fiancé!" Florence said: "What, did you choose him for yourself?"
Michael’s rage grew: "Brat! You’re doing this on purpose, get back here and apologize, or else..."
"Why should I," Florence sneered: "What right do you have to arrange a fiancé for ? Did you raise or provide for ? What gives you that right?"
Not expecting Florence to be so brazen, Michael sneered: "You’re retaliating because I didn’t let you go abroad to study music."
Florence remained noncommittal.
"I tell you, I’m your father, I have the right to plan your future, for the benefit of the Fuller Family..."
"This daughter who ca in halfway has to pave the way for your grand plans? That’s a joke. What privileges have I enjoyed in your family, what have you ever given ," Florence retorted.
"So you’ve grown rebellious," Michael gritted his teeth: "Hurry back and apologize to the Sorset Family, get along with Andrew, and we’ll let this slide, I won’t hold you accountable."
"Let tell you too, if Andrew bothers at school again, I’ll beat him every ti I see him. I don’t care, dragging the Fuller Family down with just makes happy."
"You’re such a brat! You’re turning the world upside down, what good will the Fuller Family’s downfall do for you."
"Why must I be offered as a sacrificial lamb in a marriage alliance? I don’t care, as long as I can stir up chaos within the Fuller Family, I’m happy!"
"Florence!" It seed like Michael smashed sothing on the other end: "You think you’re so capable, fine, let’s see how long you can last like this. From today on, the Fuller Family won’t give you a single penny, and you’re not allowed to return to the Fuller Family. Aren’t you arrogant? Let’s see how long that lasts!"
The call was disconnected.
Florence sneered coldly, putting her phone back in her bag.
Without the Fuller Family, it’s not like she can’t survive.
After finishing the day’s classes, Florence considered her upcoming living arrangents.
She still had so savings in her account. More than half was previously given to Ethan Harper to invest, and she hadn’t gotten any updates yet, but this should last her for a while.
She needed to gradually resolve her living expenses.
She contacted the teacher to go through the dormitory procedures, and just after the teacher agreed, a call ca in saying the dorms were full.
Florence could easily guess Michael’s handiwork.
She found a hotel near the school for temporary stay and took a part-ti job at a coffee shop, starting to settle down slowly.
Michael believed she couldn’t survive without the Fuller Family, but that was simply not true.
Half a month later, Florence barely adapted; staying at the hotel any longer was unaffordable, so she found a shared apartnt.
It was a bit tiring and a little tight financially, but she managed.
If she could endure this, she wouldn’t bow down to the Fuller Family.
Because of that fight at the beginning of the school year, Florence gained so notoriety, and during classes, she could sense people surreptitiously scrutinizing her.
Andrew hadn’t been to school for more than half a month, and with the city officials on the Sorset Family’s side, Michael probably found it hard to resolve too, but it didn’t matter. She was just happy to deal with Andrew.
"Still eating alone." Clara Fuller’s smug voice rang out beside her, and Florence looked up, giving her a glance.
Though dressed in branded luxury, Clara’s aura of wealth couldn’t be hidden, and within half a month of school, it was heard that Clara had beco the campus beauty in their departnt.
Which departnt was it...
Florence pondered.
"I heard you’re still working part-ti at a café." Clara looked at the two-dish and one-rice al in her bowl, the cheapest set from the cafeteria, with disdain: "Want to sponsor you a bit?"
"You’re still like a dog who can’t stop eating shit." Florence looked at her calmly: "You know why? You love flaunting your superiority in front of to draw out my envy, and then what? What do you actually gain? You’re just a vase; inside, there’s nothing but emptiness."
"That’s still better than you spouting curses," Clara maintained her elegant façade: "No wonder mom and dad don’t want to publicly acknowledge you as the Fullers’ own daughter, you really have no manners."
"Compared to a hypocrite like you, I think I’m way better."
Clara gritted her teeth, glaring at her: "You must be seeing soone else, rejecting the city official’s son like that."
Florence chuckled: "Should’ve told earlier you had a crush on the city official’s son, then dad wouldn’t have wasted his effort. I’ll call him right now..."
"You dare!" Clara’s face changed as she tried to snatch the phone, Florence brushed her hand away, her gaze sharp: "Hands! Off!"
Clara gritted her teeth, staring at her: "Florence, don’t co crying to beg mom and dad back to the Fuller Family. It’s tough now, isn’t it? Eating such shabby food, working over coffee after school, and earning so little that it’s not even a fraction of my allowance."
"So what." Florence raised an eyebrow: "As long as I can support myself, it’s fine!"
"Tch!"
Clara left, swinging her big designer bag.
After Clara’s interference, Florence lost her appetite but forced down a few bites; she still needed to go to the café later.
Just out of the cafeteria, Ethan Harper’s call ca in.
The frustration between her brows vanished, and she answered the call in a light-hearted tone: "Arrived in France?"
Previously, Laura Yates had kept her locked at the Fuller Family’s house until the school term started. Afterward, Florence was busy adjusting to her life and hadn’t had a chance to et Ethan. She had finally freed so ti to et yesterday, but he had to rush back to France for urgent matters.
