The vast white expanse of the snowy field, snowflakes fluttering.

In the white field, a man in a dark purple ski suit is holding a girl in a bright red ski suit, the wind and snow passing by, bringing a bit of sound.

"Actually, I fell on purpose."

"Really? Didn’t notice."

Florence Fuller sat in his arms, just looking at him, and after a while, she burst into laughter.

Ethan Harper couldn’t help but chuckle, holding her as he laughed along.

The wind and snow carried away the laughter of the man and woman, dissipating into the air.

——

By the end of the morning, Florence Fuller had expended quite a bit of energy.

The clothes she wore under her ski suit were soaked through with sweat, and after changing in the lounge, the al they ordered had already been delivered.

Seeing she had changed and co out, Ethan Harper waved to her: "Co over and eat."

With food before her and already hungry, Florence Fuller picked up the fork and started eating.

Ethan Harper sat beside her: "In the afternoon, should we go back to the hotel or continue staying here?"

"Of course, stay here, I haven’t played enough yet." Florence Fuller looked at the vast snowy scenery outside.

"Then after eating, rest a bit more. You’ve expended quite a bit of energy this morning and must be tired." He said, handing over a forkful of peeled shrimp.

Florence Fuller nodded repeatedly, opening her mouth to bite, chewing and swallowing: "This sport is tiring but more fun."

Ethan Harper watched her eat the shrimp, then followed with the sa fork and had a piece of shrimp himself.

Hmm~ Pretty tender, delicious.

"If you like it, we can co every year from now on."

Florence Fuller’s movent of drinking water paused, looking at Ethan Harper.

If she didn’t hear wrong, it’s... every year from now on...

"What’s wrong?" eting her gaze, Ethan Harper said directly.

He of course knew why Florence Fuller looked at him like that, and he of course knew what he had just said.

Florence Fuller saw the amusent in his eyes.

She put down the water glass, her gaze turning to the snowy field outside the floor-to-ceiling window.

"I rember Aunt Monrose once told you participated in a competition on this snowfield before and won first prize."

Ethan Harper followed her gaze and nodded: "It was a small-scale competition, everyone participating was of the sa age."

"How old?"

Ethan Harper thought for a mont: "When I was twelve."

"Aunt Monrose is also great at skiing." Florence Fuller said.

Ethan Harper nodded, his interest in skiing was sowhat influenced by Abigail Monrose.

Abigail Monrose could ski, and the Harper Family had even built a ski field for her.

"When can I ski as handsoly?" Florence Fuller sighed.

Ethan Harper smiled: "Soon, maybe next year."

Florence Fuller looked at him: "How about we make a bet?"

"Hmm? What bet?"

Florence Fuller looked at him: "Bet that next year when we co again, I’ll see if I can finish the shortest course in the ti you set."

Ethan Harper’s eyes moved slightly: "The ti I set?"

"Yes." Florence Fuller said.

"What’s the stake?" Ethan Harper was more concerned about this.

Florence Fuller thought hard for a mont: "The loser agrees to one request from the winner."

She said it lightly, but Ethan Harper’s gaze turned a bit less innocent: "Any restrictions?"

Upon hearing his words, Florence Fuller t his less innocent gaze and said clearly word by word: "Any! Thing! At! All!"

Ethan Harper chuckled: "Alright!"

After the al, Florence Fuller was exhausted from skiing, and while Ethan Harper was cleaning the table, she lay down on the couch.

Originally considering resting for a bit, who knew that once she lay down, her eyelids uncontrollably closed, and she soon fell asleep.

The staff who ca to collect the dishes didn’t wake her.

After sending off the staff, Ethan Harper pulled the curtains in the lounge.

The lounge fell into silence, Ethan Harper walked to the edge of the couch, gently calling her twice.

The response he got was the girl’s long, soft breaths.

Ethan Harper fetched his coat, gently covering Florence Fuller with it, then bent down, leaving the faintest of kisses on her forehead, nose, and lips.

Sweet dreams, my girl.

Florence Fuller slept for an hour and a half, waking up groggily, she habitually stretched, her hand touching warmth, she opened her eyes, the room dim, her sleepy eyes eting another pair carrying drowsy sleepiness.

"Awake?" Ethan Harper moved a bit, propping his head with his hand, looking down at Florence Fuller lying on the couch.

His voice was slightly hoarse, as he had also taken a nap beside Florence Fuller.

Florence Fuller sat up, the coat on her slid down, the sleepiness in her eyes gradually fading, she looked at Ethan Harper, slowly leaning closer.

Ethan Harper didn’t move, just kept the position allowing her to co closer.

Their breaths mingled, at such a close distance, Florence Fuller paused.

"Ethan," she called.

"Hmm?" In the dim environnt, Florence Fuller watched as his sleep-laden eyes darkened a bit, turning into a deep, entangled aning.

She said nothing more.

The lounge was exceptionally quiet, both their senses seed amplified in the dim room, Florence Fuller could feel her heart pounding like a drum, could Ethan hear it?

What was his mood now? The sa as hers?

With that thought, she already reached out, her palm pressing against his abdon.

He was wearing a thin undershirt sweater, Florence Fuller could feel the hard ridges of his abs under her palm.

Florence Fuller knew, since he was out of the wheelchair, he’d been strengthening his body in the gym the Monrose Family prepared for him.

Her palm moved slowly upward, reaching his chest and abdon.

"I just had a dream," she whispered, "dreamt you wouldn’t let touch you."

Ethan Harper let out a light laugh, Florence Fuller felt the vibration under her palm as her hand reached his heart.

Pounding like thunder.

She felt the sa sensation.

"And now..." His hand covered her warm soft hand, pressing it against his heart, his long fingers slowly interlacing with hers through the gaps: "You’ve touched it."

In fact, she made that up out of thin air.

But at this mont, with their hands intertwined, she had no ti to care about her fabrications.

Ethan Harper’s heart was pounding madly under her hand, his breath more pronounced, in the dim quiet lounge, Florence Fuller could even hear his breathing.

Florence Fuller’s other hand slowly caressed his face.

Her fingertips traced the contour of his face, his breathing seed to beco even more tense, as Florence Fuller’s eyes darkened slightly, just as her lips were about to descend, a clear ringtone rang out, instantly breaking the tension, the enchantnt, the entwinent.

The atmosphere lurking in the dark dissipated, Ethan Harper sighed, and Florence Fuller withdrew her hand.

The call ca at the most inopportune ti.

Ethan Harper stood up to find his phone, glancing at Florence Fuller.

"Who is it?" She asked.

"My mom."

Florence Fuller’s eyes tightened, for a mont feeling like a guilty act was discovered.
