The lips were pecked with a kiss.

Seeing that she didn’t object, Jiang Zhixun leaned closer to Shen Qingqing’s ear and whispered, "Stamped. From today on, I’m yours."

And he didn’t forget to add, "No take-backs!"

A shallow kiss.

Brief and fleeting.

Yet a distinct sensation lingered on Shen Qingqing’s lips, refusing to fade.

Her heartbeat quickened, and it felt like a surge of electricity coursed through her body, making her limbs a bit weak.

Shen Qingqing couldn’t help but wonder if she was getting older, having physical needs.

Otherwise, how could a kiss have such a strong effect?

She stared at Jiang Zhixun’s lips.

Not too thin, not too thick, and they looked a bit sexy.

Except for the day they t after his return, Shen Qingqing hadn’t seen Jiang Zhixun smoke since then.

He doesn’t drink alcohol.

His breath is very clean, very refreshing.

Shen Qingqing found that she wasn’t repulsed by Jiang Zhixun’s kiss.

She even thought it tasted nice.

Her gaze shifted downward to his neck, where the man’s Adam’s apple moved, looking more seductive.

Coming back to her senses, Shen Qingqing blushed, and the flush spread to her neck.

She couldn’t let others know.

More importantly, she couldn’t let Jiang Zhixun glimpse her thoughts.

With her head lowered, her soft, long hair fell and shielded her profile.

In a muffled voice, she said, "I won’t get married. If you want to settle down and have kids, you’re barking up the wrong tree."

Jiang Zhixun’s anxious heart settled down.

The corners of his mouth turned up wildly.

If he weren’t afraid Shen Qingqing would think he’s smug, he would have laughed out loud.

"Whenever you want to get married, we’ll get married," he said.

Shen Qingqing thought she’d been dazzled by his looks and tried to compose herself, "I still need to think about it."

Jiang Zhixun’s heart soared and sank.

She’d already relented, and giving her ti to think would be counterproductive; after all, there’s a saying that goes:

Strike while the iron is hot!

Jiang Zhixun coaxed her, "It’s not like we’re getting married right away, we can date and consider it at the sa ti."

Shen Qingqing shot him a sidelong glance, "You’re quite knowledgeable."

Jiang Zhixun said, "I’ve only dated you, don’t overthink it."

Shen Qingqing corrected him, "I haven’t agreed to date you yet."

The man’s eyes turned lancholic, "Then what did it an when you were staring at earlier?"

He saw it clearly—Qingqing was staring at his lips, Adam’s apple...

Those were the eyes of a woman looking at a man.

Saying her thoughts were pure would be nonsense!

Caught in the act, Shen Qingqing’s face flushed a deep red, "How do you know I was looking at you if you weren’t looking at ?"

"I was looking at you all along."

"Your eyesight hasn’t fully recovered; it’s understandable if you saw wrong."

Ultimately, Shen Qingqing couldn’t rival Jiang Zhixun’s thick-skinned nature, as the blush on her face beca more evident.

Like a ripe peach, she was tinged with pink, tender and juicy, exuding a faint fragrance.

Jiang Zhixun’s eyes shifted slightly, the aggression in his gaze growing stronger.

Shen Qingqing’s heart beat erratically under his gaze, her breathing beca irregular, and she felt an impulse to hide.

She glared at him, annoyed, "Watch your eyes!"

"What’s wrong with looking at my own partner?" he retorted confidently.

Shen Qingqing realized too late that it was just as Shi Yu had said, once the prey was caught, Jiang Zhixun wouldn’t let go.

Footsteps echoed in the hallway, and afraid of being seen, Shen Qingqing turned to leave.

Jiang Zhixun chuckled lightly, "What are you afraid of?"

They were openly dating, not having an affair...

Went away with a roll of the eyes.

And was called thick-skinned.

Jiang Zhixun was overjoyed with his new identity, let alone being scolded, even being hit would be fine.

He quickly followed Shen Qingqing, "Wifey, where are we going now, eting up with Shi Yu and the others?"

Thinking slyly, why not ditch those people and have so alone ti together?

That year, when Chen Shaojie ca to Beijing, he went to a western restaurant with Qingqing.

He hadn’t been there yet.

He should go with Qingqing alone once.

Jiang Zhixun’s mind was racing as he planned many activities.

All things he and Shen Qingqing hadn’t done together.

Shen Qingqing knew he was adept at taking an inch and asking for a mile, but she didn’t expect him to be so shaless.

Wifey, is that a title you can casually call?

Squeezing out words between her teeth, "Rember your place."

"Mm, from today on, Teacher Shen is my leader. If she tells to go west, I won’t go east."

Shen Qingqing sighed heavily, "Who told you that!"

The man blinked, feigning innocence.

"But we’re dating, right? Which part did I say wrong?"

Dating.

Dating!

Clearly using trivial matters to assert authority.

Shen Qingqing regretted more and more that she shouldn’t have been swayed by his looks and agreed too easily.

Now, trying to shake off Jiang Zhixun felt as difficult as ascending to the heavens.

She dared not think about what the future would look like and could only quicken her pace to calm her chaotic emotions.

Jiang Zhixun slipped his hands into his pants pockets, wearing a black coat.

Tall, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, undeniably handso.

He appeared cool and unapproachable.

But with a faint smile on his lips, it softened his hard deanor, making him seem less unapproachable.

His legs were long, no matter if Shen Qingqing walked fast or slow, he could easily keep pace with her.

Walking at a leisurely pace, with a calm deanor, just one glance from Shen Qingqing was enough to rile her up.

Her emotions were always easily stirred by Jiang Zhixun.

Shen Qingqing wasn’t sure if truly dating him would drive her crazy.

She turned to look at Jiang Zhixun, "Let’s break up."

The man’s expression was a sight to behold.

First confusion, then shock.

Jiang Zhixun couldn’t remain calm. He quickly walked up to Shen Qingqing and gave her two words.

"Dream on!"

When they divorced, he regretted it right after leaving the civil affairs bureau.

The sa mistake couldn’t be made twice.

Therefore, he wouldn’t break up at all costs!

Shen Qingqing had anticipated this, but she was still infuriated by him.

"You just said I could call it off anyti."

Jiang Zhixun scoffed, "I did nothing wrong, emotional breakups, I don’t accept."

"Just seeing you annoys !"

Jiang Zhixun’s mouth twitched, was he really that annoying?

Girls have those few days every month, Jiang Zhixun attributed it to her period.

He held Shen Qingqing’s hand.

Her fingertips were a bit cold.

He brought it to his lips, breathed warm air over it, then placed it in his coat pocket.

The man ran hot, even his coat pocket was warm.

The warmth travelled through the fingers to Shen Qingqing’s body.

Her expression montarily seed unnatural.

About to speak, she saw the man turn to look at her, "Don’t think about breaking up, I won’t agree. Not in a million years."

Shen Qingqing was at a loss for words, "Can you stop saying things like that?"

Jiang Zhixun smiled, "Whatever wifey says."

Shen Qingqing clicked her tongue, "Shaless!"

The man didn’t retort.

The hand in the coat pocket held Shen Qingqing’s even tighter, intertwining their fingers, finally showing satisfaction.

Jiang Zhixun knew Qingqing wasn’t that in love with him, at most she thought...he was a bit special.

After all, he knew how Shen Qingqing used to treat him.

But it didn’t matter.

This ti, he’d love Qingqing, as long as she didn’t run, didn’t resist him.

All he needed was a chance.
