"Austin Grant, let’s get a divorce."

Vivian Sinclair proposed this calmly, as if the fishbone lodged in her throat had finally been removed.

At this mont, she finally felt a bit of relief.

However, her cold gaze and the words that slipped out left Austin stunned in place.

It took him a while to find his voice: "Vivian Sinclair, are you crazy?"

"How dare you suggest divorce to !?"

"Who do you think you are—"

Until Zoe Monroe’s sob broke in, interrupting Austin’s anger: "Miss Sinclair, please don’t be like this, you don’t know how much Austin cares about you..."

"It’s all my fault today."

"I don’t know what happened to , suddenly I felt weak all over and unbearably hot, so when I saw Austin, I lunged at him."

"Austin already rejected , Miss Sinclair, if you want to bla soone, bla !"

Zoe Monroe, looking disheveled, covered herself with the bed sheet, weeping on the bed like a pitiful figure inviting sympathy.

Covering?

Can it cover their shalessness?

Reject?

Reject enough that he wished he could swallow Zoe Monroe whole?

Vivian Sinclair’s gaze fell on Zoe Monroe’s neck and collarbone, observing the kiss marks left all over, her mocking gaze darting between the two.

"Cares about , cares enough to fool around with you, his first love, in his own mother’s hospital room?"

Austin stepped forward: "You shut—"

Before he could raise his hand, Vivian Sinclair beat him to it with a slap.

"Austin Grant, you’re the one who ssed up, should I be the one to swallow my anger?"

"If you want to make your affair public, then shout out loud, attract everyone in the hospital to co and see what the Grant Group’s CEO has done!"

Austin Grant covered half of his face, lowered his gaze but quickly cald down.

This situation was indeed unexpected for him.

Vivian Sinclair’s sudden appearance caught him even more off guard.

But Zoe Monroe’s words also reminded Austin Grant that all this could be explained as a misunderstanding.

Vivian Sinclair still carries his and Zoe’s child, so she must be pacified quickly, she cannot be allowed to have any accidents.

Divorce?

She can forget about it!

Austin’s expression changed, showing a trace of heartache.

He looked up at Vivian Sinclair, his eyes filled with pity and grievance: "Honey, you’re finally here."

"Just now was really just a misunderstanding."

"You don’t know, during this ti when you ran away from ho, Zoe has been running back and forth in the hospital taking care of my mother every day."

"Zoe felt unwell just now, now thinking about it, she might have fallen victim to soone’s sche."

"If it weren’t for you interrupting this, I really would have lost my innocence."

"Honey, it’s a good thing you ca, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to clear my na even if I jumped into the Yellow River."

"These past few days when you ran away from ho, I don’t bla you for being immature. Because I know you’ve always misunderstood and Zoe, but as you can see, in front of her, I still choose you—"

Austin was busy pacifying Vivian Sinclair, completely unaware that behind him Zoe Monroe’s expression had frozen.

Although she knew Austin was just trying to pacify Vivian Sinclair.

But Zoe Monroe couldn’t help but tightly clench her palm, jealousy rising within her.

If it weren’t for the child inside Vivian Sinclair, Zoe Monroe couldn’t stand Austin’s words for another mont.

She even started to doubt, how many of his words were false?

But now Zoe Monroe could only reluctantly and insincerely help Austin explain: "Yes, Miss Sinclair."

"Please don’t misunderstand, nothing has happened between Austin and ..."

"Otherwise, you, you can check."

Vivian Sinclair found it laughable.

Nothing happened, not that they didn’t want to.

These two really took her for a fool, huh?

"No, I feel disgusted."

She almost threw up.

Seeing the faces of these two, the scene before her, her heart rolling like turbulent waves.

Fortunately, Vivian Sinclair never fights a losing battle.

She was incredibly calm.

She calmly took out her phone and played a recording she had saved for a long ti.

"Keep her company? Seeing her like that is just nauseating."

...

"Why bother comparing with her?"

...

"Now that her true identity is revealed, she is just an illegitimate child with no background, even The Sinclair Family doesn’t want her."

...

"...I couldn’t be more gleeful!"

...

"What else could she possibly have to compare with you?"

...

"In my heart, Zoe, you are the moon in the sky, one and only..."

...

And then, a lengthy series of intimate and ambiguous sounds, Vivian Sinclair asked: "Still want to keep listening?"

"Austin Grant, since you loathe , hate , love that one and only moon so much, then sign the divorce papers!"

Austin Grant turned sharply to look at Zoe Monroe.

Zoe Monroe hadn’t expected Vivian Sinclair to record their conversation!

Even less did she expect Vivian to play it at such a mont.

She no longer had any strength to argue: "It’s not ... I don’t know what’s happening either..."

But her face was ashen, which had already revealed the truth.

Austin Grant suppressed the anger and anxiety in his heart, along with a trace of panic and unease upon realizing Vivian Sinclair had discovered everything.

"So, you’ve known all along."

He gradually ca to his senses: "You’ve been waiting for this day, haven’t you?"

Vivian Sinclair didn’t deny it: "Yes."

"I’ve known for a long ti that you and Zoe Monroe were tangled together, even sneaking around in the Rosengarde during Grandma’s birthday banquet, I knew it all."

"So don’t put on an act with anymore."

"Only a divorce can keep the dignity between you two, otherwise everyone will look terrible!"

Upon hearing this, Austin Grant’s heart surged with uncontrollable anger.

Since she knew a long ti ago, why didn’t she co clean sooner?

Instead, she was biding her ti.

Was she waiting for the Grant family to be vulnerable, thinking she would have a better chance then?

"Vivian Sinclair, do you really want to divorce that much?"

"Coming here today with the divorce papers, was it preditated? Was it you who spiked Zoe with traditional herbs?"

Needless to say, when Austin Grant’s mind wasn’t focused on Zoe Monroe, he wasn’t so foolish.

Vivian Sinclair countered him: "What evidence do you have that I did it?"

"This is a hospital; if you were clean, who could set you up?"

Confronted with this, Austin Grant knew he was in the wrong, so his face darkened deeply: "Fine, even if you exposed this today, what can you do about it?"

"Vivian Sinclair, I’ve always loved Zoe. That has never changed."

"You were the one who interfered in my relationship with Zoe. If you hadn’t used tactics to force Zoe away and used the Sinclair Family to coerce an alliance, do you think I would have married you?"

"You know very well how you got this marriage!"

"I will never lay a hand on you."

"I will drag you on for life—"

"You want a divorce? No way!"

"Moreover, don’t forget that you still carry the Grant family’s bloodline in your belly, my child!"

"To leave the Grant family, you’d have to die!"

Facing Austin Grant’s ugly facade, Vivian Sinclair had long anticipated this.

When a man acts, he makes you feel like you’re the most loved person in the world.

But when he stops acting, you realize how much of a fool you are.

Her heart had long since stopped feeling anger.

She simply pulled yet another stack of docunts from her bag and threw them at Austin Grant’s face again.

"Without a brain, see a doctor."

"Without evidence, conduct your own investigation!"

"I disdain the act of proving my innocence, but I loathe even more the triumphant expressions of vile people!"

Austin Grant’s face turned pale: "You, what do you an?"

With trembling hands, he received the docunts, thinking Vivian Sinclair had discovered the truth about the child.

However, upon opening the docunts, it was a transfer record from years ago.

The record evidenced a sum of five million transferred into Zoe Monroe’s account from his mother’s account.

Austin Grant’s eyes widened suddenly.

He looked up in disbelief at Zoe Monroe, who wore an expression of fear and unease.

Vivian Sinclair spoke: "Austin Grant, do you think I was so eager to marry into the Grant family?"

"If not for the Sinclair Family, who would want to be your wife?"

"Before marrying you, I had never seen your sweetheart!"

"You accuse of using tactics to force her away? Just based on a few words of hers?"

"Yes, she is your first love, so you believe everything she says."

"But without my marriage alliance with you, could she have married you?"

"If not , it would have been the Archer Family’s daughter, the Cheney Family’s daughter, the Lowe Family’s daughter!"

"But definitely not her, Miss Monroe!"

"I’ve said what needs to be said, sign the papers quickly!"

Austin Grant couldn’t believe the evidence and the facts in his hands.

He looked up with difficulty, painfully asking Zoe Monroe: "So, it was actually my mom who forced you to leave? It really had nothing to do with Vivian Sinclair?"

"Why did you leave such a letter, just to mislead into hating my own wife?"

Zoe Monroe now realized that it was this matter that had been exposed.

Tears instantly stread down her face.

"No, Austin, it’s not like that."

"I didn’t say anything at that ti, you misunderstood. I just ntioned you were to have an alliance marriage, the Sinclair Family is too powerful for to resist. Asking for your forgiveness..."

"That sentence, I never even ntioned Miss Sinclair forcing to leave..."

Austin Grant finally realized what he had misunderstood due to his prejudice.

He had blindly hated Vivian Sinclair for so long!

He held his head, staggering a few steps.

"No, I won’t sign..."

"Vivian, my wife, we’ve explained the misunderstandings, we can start over—"

The unease in his heart felt like a chasm had opened, uncontrollably widening.

He felt a surge of fear.

Finally acknowledging, he truly didn’t want to lose her.

Yet, Vivian Sinclair stepped back gradually.

In the end, decisively, she turned and opened the door, imdiately bumping into the nurse who was arranged to escort Lillian Rivers back.

At that mont, the timing was perfect for them to witness this dramatic scene.

Upon seeing what unfolded inside, the nurse gasped loudly: "Oh my—"
